I was browsing the store one day. The SA talked me into buying a more expensive sunglasses by complimenting (literally everything I tried on) looked nice on me. I felt trapped and made an impulsive purchade. A week later, I returned the sunglasses as I changed my mind. As I was standing at the register making the return, the same SA made snarky comments that made me very uncomfortable. It doesn't matter why I chose the return, SA should keep comments to him/herself and just process the darn return. I won't be coming back to this location. read more

We came in wanting to purchase sunglasses and were turned down based on the only employee saying he needed a 15 min break because he hasn't sat down all day. It was an hour until the store closed so we couldn't return based on dinner reservations. The company needs to value their employees and a potential sale. read more

I am updating my negative review after Randy went above and beyond to help us today. This is what is so great about yelp. That you can go and update a negative review when the store corrects the issue. He is very professional Heidi was very disrespectful. Made several comments on how I purchased from an airport and that's where I buy water and candy. I put up with her comments. She obviously didn't want to help. Management should take not that they have disrespectful employees. When you spend $300+ on sunglasses you shouldn't be talked to like your bothering the staff. I would go elsewhere. My mother and I took a trip to look at some sunglasses... wasn't planning on buying anything until my mom found a pair that looked too good not to buy. They were having a buy one, get one for 50% off sale, so of course I had to get a pair. I forgot the names of the two associates who helped me and my mom, but we had the best time with them! They made the experience of me buying my first pair of designer sunglasses one I will never forget! They were both so helpful, kind, and honest throughout my decision making process. I can't thank them enough! My mom and I love our new sunglasses, and we will be visiting again soon! read more

I wavered between a 2-3 because my experience here was bizarre, but ultimately my problem was solved. So I go to this location with my boyfriend, who used to work for Oakley/sunglass hut, and my older (out of warranty) polarized raybans, with glass gray lenses. I wanted just a bit of an adjustment as they kept sliding off and were a bit crooked. So the woman grabs the glasses and starts manually bending them with her hands, no tools. I tell myself, she must just know how because I'm cringing watching the metal bend. It doesn't quite look the way she wants so she runs the end pieces to a commercial dryer, which she tells me will help bend the piece that goes behind your ear. Again, I'm thinking...it's Cleveland and cold outside... the lenses are glass and you're heating them... but again, give her the benefit of the doubt. They look great! I walk outside and the lens cracks in front of my eyes. Yikes. So I walk back in and explain and the woman who helped me said the usual "wow that's so bizarre" and tells me they don't carry these but I can buy lenses online from rayban easily. She verbatim tells me "I can't control the weather, this wasn't my fault." And continues to give me reasons why it might have happened, while rejecting any responsibility. I asked her if she normally heats glass lenses, she said yes, it's all the same. Cue the boyfriend jumping in to say, naw that's not the standard, you never heat glass lenses" blah blah a half hour later I got my pair grudgingly replaced with a non-identical pair (that's fine, they're cute. you better make sure you LOVE the expensive sunglasses you buy here because they will not take any returns back. they will find any small mark on them that may have been there before the purchase and say they are not returnable. horrible customer service read more

Terrible experience. We tried coming in to help a friend out and the associates were the rudest people i have ever come across. They acted like our opinions didn't matter at all and made us feel like they were so much better than us. There were three of them and it was definitely not good costumer service. wayfarers needed no help at the sunglass hut something just ain't right What a ridiculous experience. So it is a bright sunny day in the fake fakiness of Cracker Park. And I lost my shades the other day. So I walk by Sunglass Hut and figure to stop in to buy a replacement. The lady working there is taking care of another woman who is obviously not interested in buying anything, I try on 3 pairs of shades and narrow it down to two. No "can I help you" or "I'll be right with you". All I need is to ask if they can be adjusted to sit straight on my face, which the Sunglass Hut in Chicago did without a problem. Wait. Wait. Wait. ---crickets--- Nope. I'm being completely ignored. so I stand. I wait. Enter three young African American youths. This woman swoops in on them like a cat on a mouse and proceeds to tail them with "can I help yous", can I help you find something in particular"... ...Obviously thinking that it MUST be a roving gang of sunglass thieves. It was actually pretty damn uncomfortable at that point, so I threw up my hands in frustration along with a good deal of disgust and walked out. Horrible! Horrible Horrible!!! Wouldn't spend a dime at this store! The woman working was an awful salesperson and blatantly rude. Provided little help while trying to decide which style to purchase. She was rushed and huffy! Then comes the purchase... She had NO clue how to process Crocker Park gift cards and said there was zero balance when there was $100! Bottom line-left Sunglass Hut with huge headache, no glasses and ZERO balances on $150 in gift cards. No apologies from this awful women and now Crocker Park and Luxottica are involved to try to fix her mess! Thanks Sunglass Hut for ruining generous gifts from friends and for the worst customer service I've ever experienced! read more

The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. The staff was incredibly rude and did not want to help at all. They seemed to all be lazy and unwilling to get off their butts to lend a hand. After many years of getting Rayban's from Sunglass Hut in Westlake, OH at the promenade I recently went back for a repair on my sunglasses and was told by the owner to go to LENSCRAFTERS as they have more screws and she didn't have screws to fix the glasses she sold. Wow....won't be going back! read more
