It started out at their Lakewood location when I got my first pair of glasses that broke almost immediately. Fine. We reorder a new pair. I go in 3 weeks later to check in on the contacts. They haven't even reordered the glasses. So we try this again. Get the glasses 4 weeks later but they break again. Request a brand new pair. Have to go to their Westlake office with larger selection. Charge me $50 for a "refitting" despite the fact they sold me crappy glasses. Wait another month for the new glasses. I call the Westlake office a month later and they apparently just came in and "are here for pickup." Go to the Westlake office and find out they are actually at the Lakewood office. At the Lakewood office and they say their opticians are very busy and we will need time to adjust the frames. By this point, my whole afternoon has been shot. I explain to the person that I am pretty frustrated after having been at this for over an hour and if they can get to things quicker. See on the opticians desk that the lady at the front desk messaged her on teams saying I needed a refitting and had a "huge attitude." Some of these things were not their fault. A lot of them are. I will not be coming back next year.

I called ahead and explained my husband might be a few minutes late for his 3:00 p.m. appointment. I was told as long as he arrived by 3:15, he would still be seen. He arrived at exactly 3:15, but the receptionist was not only rude -- she was dismissive and arrogant. She never looked up from her computer while telling him he was late and the doctor was fully booked. No attempt to reschedule was made, and the tone was anything but professional. As a Vietnam veteran, my husband deserves to be treated with dignity. After years of 5-star experiences, we'll now be looking elsewhere for our eye care. I can no longer recommend this office or Dr. White in good faith.We've gone to this office for years. I had my cataract surgery here and always gave glowing reviews. It's very clean and organized and they make good use of the space they have. Dr. Good is very personable and thorough with his exams and his staff is super friendly and accommodating! They have a vast variety of glasses frames on display, so you shouldn't have a problem finding something you like. They do offer a nice selection of Oakley frames if you want to be fancy. Prescription sunglasses are available as well. Their website is great! You can check your account statements and prescriptions, and schedule appointments too. You can also order your contacts through the website and it lists all the prices so you can comparison shop if you wish. You can setup email and text appointment reminders which I find very helpful. Also, now they moved that grotesque furniture store that took the space of two restaurants and a store, it's alway empty...too expensive for most of us! Why not bring Pottery Barn, William Sonoma, Crate and Barrel, more accessible prices and more variety. I've been to other open malls in California, Las Vegas, the East side etc they're booming and fun! Crocker is definitely struggling it's very sad but soon it will collapse!

Even though it is cold we enjoy going in the winter to stroll the streets and see all the Christmas lights. They have a lot of unique stores. Plus the events that take place. I recently took my kids to the free indoor play area with the glice to slide on with socks, many toys to play with and Santa's sleigh. There are lots of parking lots so we usually plan ahead to see what we want to visit and find a garage in that area.
