Pulled up on a Friday late night with my family ordered the standard 5 tacos. They are a bit pricey as well. I ordered the carne Asada and my mother in law ordered the chicken. While it did seem like it tasted good it was super greasy. (TMI coming up) When I woke up the next morning my I noticed my bowels were literally moving the next day, (I counted about 9 times). I felt bloated and everything. My wife even told me that as we were pulling off she witnessed the cook I believe his name is Julio eating some of the product while he was preparing peoples food (the side door of the food truck was open so you could see right in). Funny enough we decided to go back Saturday evening to give them another try, thinking it would be better, BOY was we wrong. I ordered the same order plus charro Beans, elote (corn in a cup) and 3 cans of sprite. This time we took literally one bite and the meat was DRYER than the Saharan desert both the carne asada and the chicken. (Tasted like some reheated old meat or meat that had been made days prior). We were already at the hotel at this point and was infuriated!!! We ended up calling and I believe I spoke to Julio (or whoever the cook is) over the phone. After lying saying that he cooked the meat fresh that day he stuttered I told him aint no way the meat was fresh. He then said and I quote " I cooked the meat "a couple days ago" then said "sorry I burnt it or overcooked it". (Knowing that why would you serve that to me?) I then stated "yes it tasted old period". I requested a refund in which he agreed to. Driving all the way back I brought the food back as well. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted. Seems like they will dress up the taco and selling you some "old meat" people just be careful and mindful when coming to this taco truck. "The Earths Best Taco" they say... that's a stretch!

Planning an event from out of state can be stressful, but Memo, the manager, made the entire process so much easier. From my very first call, Memo patiently answered all of my questions regarding pricing, room options, and the menu. Reserving the room was simple, and as our guest list continued to grow, we ended up doubling our original reservation. When I called Memo, he graciously accommodated our larger party and moved us into the bigger room without hesitation. We arrived in San Antonio two days before the party and had the opportunity to meet with Memo in person. He walked us through the room, answered my last-minute questions, and helped us feel confident that everything was ready. On the day of the celebration, everything went smoothly. Dave and Pancho provided exceptional service to our family. They were attentive, kind, and made sure everyone was well taken care of throughout the evening. The food was delicious--especially the beef fajitas! The buffet remained well stocked, and everything was replenished regularly, ensuring our guests never had to wait. The celebration was a tremendous success, and most importantly, my dad felt incredibly loved and celebrated on his 80th birthday. While the room was a little cozy with 65 guests and a mariachi band, the joyful atmosphere made it a memorable evening for everyone. One suggestion that could make hosting special events even easier would be offering a projector, screen, and sound equipment as rental options. Since we were planning from out of state, we had to scramble a bit to secure those items. Thankfully, everything worked out in the end, but having those resources available through the venue would be a wonderful convenience for future customers.
