Hands down, this is still my favorite restaurant in Ceres. I haven't had one thing I've disliked. Definitely recommend.

very bad. I went with my husband and son to eat there. we ordered a plate of samosa, tikki and gol gappa and they charged me the double price. Their menu shows different prices than they charged. We saw the bill when we came back home and i called the store to ask why they charged me double price, the guy handed over the phone to the owner, the owner was so rude and he said that he is going to refund me a single penny back as this is their new price. The food was pretty good! The order was slightly inaccurate and there is a pricing glitch if you order through DoorDash. Unfortunately there is no deliveriy other than DoorDash, and this is the main problem. Use caution ordering through DoorDash due to lack of resolution if there is a problem with the order. Worst customer service I have encountered, the employee that took my order his name is SID, I addressed a concern too him, as I was selecting the sweets I seen cockroach going back and forth, told the employee hey there's a cockroach all he did was move the sweets and killed the cockroach with his hands, I was so disappointed & they don't provide refund, he packed my dinner in a bag, &inside the bag it had cockroach , I called the store to speak to a manager sid said the manager went home for the night and too top it off the kitchen staff didn't have a mask on read more

I accidentally ordered from this place on Doordash because I clicked the wrong Indian restaurant by mistake and I'm so sad and disappointed! Butter chicken and paneer tikka masala are both watered down and flavorless. Samosas are drowning in oil and also flavorless. Do yourself a favor and order from Mother India down the street. 100x's better. read more

Went in with friends kinda late and we got great service, owners and food. Everything tasted very fresh. They told us it was going to take 20 minutes and when it came it didn't disappoint.Best Indian food worth waiting for. We stayed about 10 mins after closing ( sorry guys!!) we apologized and they were very friendly and not upset. They gave us rasmalai on the house. Everything over all was so good. My family and I have never had Indian food until we've tried this place as it is not far from our house. It was definitely a great introduction into trying Indian food. We were pleasantly surprised by how great everything was, and we have since ordered from there a few more times. It has inspired me to learn how to make the recipes myself at home. Would definitely recommend anybody who's craving Indian food or would like to try Indian food for the first time to give this place a shot. read more

Not sure what happened... but the new/young girl on the phone was incredibly rude and LITERALLY DEMANDED that I arrive by a certain time to pickup my food or else it would either not be prepared or it wouldn't be warm...... either way, I arrived well before the time she requested and my order wasn't ready. Upon arriving home and reviewing my order, they gave me one incorrect dish, nothing was labeled, the garlic naan wasn't cooked completely, and they no longer give you tamarind chutney for the chana? I was TRULY excited to not have to go all the way to Ripon anymore for Happy's because their food doesn't have flavor at all, and my previous experiences with Sunlight have been positive---- but now I won't be going here anymore, not after tonight. Making order mistakes are one thing, but having staff there that are rude to the customers for no reason AND the order is incorrect?? Not ok. read more

This is the best Indian buffet I've tried in the central valley. Although the buffet does not come with my favorite samosa, they still have a plethora of choices. From, chicken curry to chicken tandoori or pakora, khaduri, they will satisfy your craving. They also have kheer for dessert. I brought my parents here and they enjoyed it. Oh and you can't go without ordering their garlic naan! It is so fresh and you can taste the bold flavor. It's $1 extra, well worth it. And you can't go wrong with the $8 lunch buffet! First visit to this restaurant and it was a very good experience. I was craving some butter chicken and Naan for lunch. Popped in to place an order to go. The service was very good and very friendly. Took about 20 minutes to complete my order and they even apologized for the wait. (Not necessary). Order was as expected and I like the plastic wrap applied to the container so to prevent spillage. I hosted my engagement party and also my Jaggo here at Sunlight. Their entire restaurant + banquet is huge. Ample amount of space to cater a large amount of people. If you set up the tables properly. Your dance floor can be huge. I had no complaints at all. I love their restaurant. The whole family who own the house are kind and ensure that everything is done properly. And most importantly the food! Everyone loved the food. You can tell them before hand to be a bit more heavy handed on the spices which in my opinion makes the food taste better and they do just that!! All of my events were a complete success at Sunlight. All of my family and friends had a great time. Big dance floor. Bar was poppin. Buffet was good. Nobody was bumping into each other. I was happy. read more

This review for buffet, which is my go-to on days I don't pack lunch. The service is always great, and so is the selection of food. Ther ewas a little bit where my friend and I feared they'd replaced Gulab Jamun in the buffet for frest fruit (sad face), (which still pairs well with the kheer and is healthier), but the last time we were there the gulab jamun was in the buffet bringing smiles to all of our faces and tummies =) read more

My family and I went in here a week ago to buy sweets. The ladies who work at the counter were very nice and very sociable. The sweets were very tasty as well. However, my dad and I went there a few days ago to order more sweets and we also decided to eat their lunch buffet. For the most part, the food was not very good at all. The only thing I liked were the pakoras and the naan. The butter chicken smelled disgusting, as if there was a spoiled ingredient that was added as it was being cooked. The tandoori chicken was cold and the mattar paneer had zero flavor. Plus, they didn't have a good selection of foods at the buffet. They should add more varieties of food. I even had to ask one of the employees for water because they never gave us water. Compared to every Indian restaurant I've gone to, they ALWAYS give customers water. There was never a time where I had to ask for water. The bathrooms are FILTHY! I went in there and one of the locks on the big bathroom stalls was broken. They need to fix that because that made me uncomfortable. The bathroom was full of dirt and there were cobwebs everywhere! I like the sweets over here but not the food itself. We had a business lunch and a coworker brought some samosas and I tell you what they were great!! So it's been about two weeks and I'm on my day off and I was craving that flavor again. I ended up ordering veggie samosas with potatoes and peas and perfectly seasoned. I also ordered chicken biryani.And that was great to!!!!!!
