This place was good! We went on a nice Saturday for brunch and they were busy but we waited maybe 7 minutes for a table. The food was good and so was our coffee. My husband got a skillet and I got huevos rancheros. The only thing off putting to me was that the biscuits and gravy meat was a very light color. Almost like the color of chicken? I'm not sure why. I can't remember what the menu said but I am used to sausage gravy and it having a darker color for the meat.. so i probably wouldn't order that again. Our server was very kind and attentive although it was very busy. Overall I would recommend! The prices were not bad and location is near my house which I like.

Food and Drink: We had the chicken and waffles, and the fried steak and eggs skillet. The chicken was tender while the waffles had crispy edges and a soft center. "Perfection." The skillet was really good too but I think I would have preferred to have my eggs on the side or under the steak and gravy. I also had a side of the breakfast potatoes - they were hot and crispy and would have been great in the skillet dish instead of the hashbrowns! While GOOD, I think I should have selected a different dish. Customer Service: The waitresses were attentive with beverages and staying in touch throughout the meal! No complaints at all. Ambiance: For a Tuesday morning, the vibe was somewhat chill! We were seated and attended to immediately. Overall, this place is solid for a family breakfast spot and is conveniently located near a grocery store for any errands afterwards.

Another excellent breakfast enjoyed today at Sunny Day Cafe! The traditional Eggs Benedict was served hot with creamy hollandaise. We sat at the bar allowing us to be entertained by the chefs preparing each breakfast--flipping eggs in the skillet, ensuring every dish was presented to perfection, and observing each member of the staff working happily side-by -side and as a team. Yes, just like the sign says, "I would eat here again!"

This place gets packed! It's a cute little breakfast and lunch spot that recently opened in Carmel. We were immediately greeted and seated when we arrived. Our server was kind and even helped us decide on the breakfast margarita to start with - so good if you're into margaritas! I ordered the corned beef hash with a side of French toast (just one piece), which was great. But the real star was the breakfast tacos with bacon that my fiancé ordered. I thought about them long after we left...probably the best breakfast tacos I've ever had. We'll definitely be back!

Cute place tucked in a strip in front of Meijer. We visited here after church one Sunday morning and I was shocked how appealing it was. I immediately received good vibes because I noticed two people working here from another restaurant that I hadn't seen in a couple of years. I knew the service would be good and the food would more than likely be good. I had the vegetarian omelet and a pancake. The portion was to my liking but I will say that the omelet could use more flavor. I see myself going back in the near future.

This cute trendy upscale dinner is in a strip mall off Carmel Drive. I stopped for breakfast. I was greeted and quickly seated at a marble top table. The place is pristine. The menu is a blend of traditional breakfast with a hint of Mexican. They serve mimosas and other breakfast alcohol if you're in the mood. I ordered the Avocado Toast. The toast was a single slice of a nutty whole grain bread with a smear of avocado and 2 eggs, cooked to order. There's a spicy kick to each bite, which I loved. A small cup of fresh fruit accompanied the toast. Service was amazing. Several different servers checked on me several times. Paola, my server, was friendly and attentive. Food came out super fast. Parking is limited in front of the building, but was ok mid week. Very good, I'd come back. It's a great place to meet friends for breakfast.

Can I just have Sunny Day Cafe make me my breakfast every day? That's how good it was! We arrived at the café around 1:30pm on a Saturday and got a great seat at a table outside. Our waitress so was kind and helped us decide what to get! I got the veggie frittata with sourdough, my husband got the chicken and waffles, and my MIL got the veggie omelet with a side of french toast. All was amazing and I would get all again! I can't wait to go back to try their chilaquiles

We eat at sunny day cafe weekly, alternating between the Carmel and noblesville location. All of the staff is incredibly friendly and the food is to die for. My favorite for a long time was the breakfast burrito. I have ordered the avocado toast, chicken & waffles, French toast, and recently the skillet. So many options to chose from and each are so delicious.

We went a little later in the day, so there was no wait. The atmosphere was great, and everyone was kind and welcoming. The food was very yummy. My partner got the green chilaquiles, and they were delicious - very authentic flavor. The steak we got with them was very marinated and tender. The breakfast burrito and salsa were also yummy. Everything was reasonably priced and very filling.

What a wonderful addition to the morning dining scene! We were really impressed with our first visit to Sunny Day Cafe. If you've known the space before as its former tenants, you'll be surprised with how much things have changed! The decor is lovely, staff hard working and friendly, and the food was out of this world. Would I go back - NO. I mean, when you walk in there was a diner feel to the place. I was excited for a good breakfast. I ordered the basic two egg breakfast deal. With it, I had bacon, hash browns and picked sourdough toast. I told the waitress 2-3 times to make sure my hash browns were super crispy. She shook her head as if she understood the words coming out of my mouth. Well - when I received my meal - my hash browns had barely touched the flat top - FAR from crispy, my bacon was barely done and to top off - it's one piece of bread cut in half. Just and FYI - Barely done bacon is gross!! The only thing they got were the over-medium eggs. I took no pictures because it wasn't worth it!! read more

This has become one of our favorite spots to dine in Carmel. Just south of the Meijer store off US 31, it is nestled next to a nail salon. Parking is easy, the place is spotless and the food is some of the best in the area. Mexican American fits the menu with great choices made by master chefs. I had an old fashioned Indiana breakfast of fried pork chops served with fried potatoes and onions. We ate this in farm country most mornings! Service is outstanding and prices are reasonable. Expect a treat when you go! read more

Sunny Day Cafe was a great choice for a sunny saturday brunch in carmel. The place is tucked away, but it is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere when you walk in. The vanilla iced coffee was amazing and the food was out quicker than i could've expected. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, carne asada skillet and a side a french toast. This portion size was perfect and even had some leftovers. 10/10 will be back for another brunch at Sunny Day Cafe read more

I love this place! We have been here several times and always sit "at the bar" just to watch the machine work. The owners are such wonderful people, the food and portion sizes are awesome! It's always spotless, when we go. My fiancée loves the mimosa flights, and the Bloody Mary is legit!! For me? It's a great way to start a Sunday... followed shortly by a Sunday afternoon Happy-Belly nap!! read more

This was my first time visiting the cafe. My wife and I went for dinner even though my wife has been there for breakfast. The two servers who were there were fantastic at making us feel at home. I recently went to the newest breakfast gem in town with my family, and let me tell you, it's a winner! This spot will become my go-to for a morning pick-me-up, thanks to its delicious food (especially the breakfast tacos), generous portions, and impeccable service. Whether you're a traditionalist or an adventurous eater, their menu caters to all palates with a variety of options. Two of us had the breakfast tacos, another had the classic "two egg combo", and the other person in our party had the Mexican chilaquiles - recommended by our waitress. All of our plates were cleared! Furthermore, the inside of the restaurant is so cute, bright, and clean. The staff at this cafe are so welcoming and friendly. Our waitress was wonderful and extremely attentive to the table. I highly recommend going to Sunny Day for your next breakfast / brunch! read more

In town visiting and wanted a Thanksgiving Day breakfast. My wife had an omelette, and I had the Huevos Rancheros. So delicious. Atmosphere bright and very clean. More than I expected from a strip mall restaurant. Food came out quickly and hot. Would definitely recommend. Service awesome read more

This is my new go to place to get breakfast or lunch. The food is fabulous. The owners and staff are super friendly. It is clean and furnished nicely. They also have Mexican food Tuesday - Saturday evening starting at 4:30 pm which is equally as good. If You haven't tried Sunny Day Cafe check them out. They are by Meijer on Carmel Drive. read more

Food- AMAZING Service- AMAZING Vibes- AMAZING I have been about 5 times since they opened last month and everything has been good each time. Between my partner and I we have tried almost everything on the menu and it is PERFECTLY cooked every time. It's not your cheap diner breakfast. The service is always amazing and you can ask them to cook about anything in whatever way you like it. The music is also popping each time we have came. 10/10 keep it up! read more

Both these factors may have caused the drink to not be up to par with regards to temperature. We will not let this experience taint us from returning. I stated my opinion on the obvious comparison and stated that I have never worked at mornings. I have been to mornings a few times and love the food. Although, I had a basic BLT, it was delish, they easily added avocado (which for other restaurants is a chore or not possible) perfectly toasted bread, bacon not over or under done, veggies on point and the perfect amount of mayo.
