Sausage egg and cheddar on sourdough
    Joey K.

HIDDEN GEM!!! Fantastic coffee, delicious food, and a really chill vibe. The staff is kind and helpful and service is great. I tried the Autumn Stroll and a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. They even changed the bread from a bagel to sourdough for me. It is such a great little spot tucked away in the Lake Bank building. If you like cool little cafes, You won't regret trying it!

From the moment I stepped foot onto the patio area, I was in awe of how nice it looks. It instantly put me in the mind of somewhere warm like Arizona. From the greenery adorning the fence to the green turf to the lights to the outdoor patio sets, it's very soothing and relaxing. I couldn't wait to get back outside to sit and bask in the aesthetics of this ice cream shop. Now let's make our way inside. I don't know where to begin. All I'm going to says is, you must see and experience for yourself!!! Whoever designed the layout knows what they are doing. I could hardly make my way to the counter for trying to see all the cute pieces of furniture, neon light signs, greenery, etc. So I made my way to the counter and was overcome by the selections of ice cream. How do you choose just one or two? I walked both counters and seen they had Horchata. I asked to sample and it was just how I imagined. I struggled with just the ice cream or if I wanted a shake. The young lady at the counter was very helpful with me trying to decide. I opted for an Horchata with strawberries. I will definitely be back! I had no idea they had been open for about a year or so and honestly, didn't know they existed. This is the perfect spot for the family after dinner or before. Also, a cute spot for date day/night. Overall, it's good for whatever you want it to be. You can never go wrong with ice cream!!!

However, my boyfriend and I went around 8pm, and they close at 9pm. The associate told us that we could ONLY order ice cream, which honestly felt a little off considering they still had an hour left before closing. Furthermore, we originally came in for a crepe and some mini pancakes, but were told we couldn't order them at that time. Because of that, my boyfriend didn't end up getting anything at all. In addition, I did order a mangonada, and I will say it was very good, so I can definitely give them credit for that. On top of that, the limited menu so close to closing was disappointing and kind of took away from the overall experience. I'm not sure if I'll be back after what happened.

We arrived and I was immediately impressed, visually, by the beautiful atmosphere that they've curated. Through the glass garage door storefront, you are greeted by interesting light fixtures, eye- catching red chairs, large booths, rotating digital images of the delectable chocolate offerings, and flowing fountains of white, milk and dark chocolate. We entered and the smell of sweet confections filled the air. I left my husband at the counter to order and grabbed a table for us in the corner nearest to the garage door. We later discussed how, during the Summer, it will be so nice if/when they open that door up to the outside air. You order at the counter, and then they bring it out to your table. My husband returned with a big glass bottle of cold water (and some of the flimsiest plastic cups that I've ever held). The water was a nice, and necessary, touch. The dishes are rich! They are rich in the best way possible, though. The event provided a complimentary crepe with your choice of fruit, and a cookie skillet with ice cream. My husband couldn't decide on which fruit(s) to get, so the employee just told him that they'd hook it up for us. The crepe came out, and it was so beautiful...it was almost too pretty to eat! They provided us with an array of fruit to accompany it; bananas, strawberries, pineapples, and kiwi. The addition of the fruit really helped to cut through the richness of the chocolate. The crepe was the perfect, delicate vehicle for all of it! I probably ate about a 1/3 of it, and tried so save room for the cookie. I'm not a real "sweets" eater, but everything here just looks so good! The cookie skillet came out warm, gooey, and with its own generous drizzling of chocolate under a scoop of ice cream (& whipped cream if my memory serves me correctly). The cookie by itself was really delicious. In the future, I will omit the addition of chocolate sauce. It really didn't need it. I look forward to another fun dessert date with my hubby at this really SWEET lounge! P.S. All of the portion sizes that I saw were shareable. Bae and I could've shared either one of those desserts and been good. I also saw a woman sharing a sweet treat with her two children, and several other patrons were sharing. We all know that sharing means caring!

Currently they don't offer hot boba because they don't have the cups for it, which is easy enough to fix! Hot boba is pretty common, and the cups are readily available. This is an old school pancake house where they refresh your coffee when you're halfway through. Oh, the coffee is free for seniors that purchase an entree. My husband had free coffee (and he had about 4 cups). He said the coffee is good. They have their own labelled roasted coffee. So, it's either eggs or pancakes or both. My husband had the Morning Plate with pancakes, bacon and an egg. The thick sliced bacon is awesome with a ton of flavor and certainly memorable. He devoured the pancakes after drowning them in a cup of syrup. He enjoyed his breakfast lunch. I had the Veggie Bowl that included hash browns, topped with a nice mix of vegetables (spinach, pepper, broccoli, onions), and avocado smothered in cheese and topped with two eggs. I felt like the huge bowl was mostly healthy. I took half home, there was a lot of food. Daniel, our server, and all the other servers were super sweet and helpful. My water stayed full. My husband's coffee stayed full. The dining room is filled with booths that are comfortable for the most part. There is a 90's country vibe inside with stained glass and lots of green. I imagine people come in to drink coffee and gab. The only thing that I will call out was the host, who unwelcoming and definitely board with his job. I usually don't single out bad service, but this guy really sets a bad tone for the place. The restrooms are nice and clean. There's plenty of parking in the shared strip mall lot. The lot is a little dangerous as you half to walk across traffic to get into the restaurant.
