Today we did a 90 and my wife didn't have cash so I gave her a $20 and we definitely received some snark. (My wife's therapist grabs the $20, looks at it for a few seconds, then in an incredulous voice looks at me and goes "how long your massage, 90?" The English wasn't perfect but I got the message, loud and clear) I managed to find another $5 and got a snarky "thanks" with some stank in the voice. I get it. Inflation is up, the economy is down, and it ain't 2018 anymore. I'm actually in agreement these ladies need to be tipped well for the job they do. But today's snark made it awkward and weird af. We enjoyed coming here for years because the massage has been consistently good, no question.
