Food is good for a fast food Chinese place, better than most I have been to. Prices are very good, especially for the lunch specials. They can make any dish spicy or mild, just ask. I ordered the Shrimp Lo Mein, which is listed on the menu as not spicy, but I requested they make it spicy and it was very good. 5 star rating is based on the type of restaurant it is, fast food/takeout Chinese. It is not a fine dining establishment. They are 4 tables if you want to eat there but most people seem to take their food to go.

I've been here several times. The food is always hot and fresh. The ambiance is ok. It's more of a take out, although they do have tables inside to sit down and eat. I like to stop by after work and take it home. It is moderately priced.

This place is a COVID fortress! There's a no way anyone will be getting sick from here, which is why I bumped it up a star. Sunny's has basically built a wooden room where you enter and do all your food and pay transitions from inside. Sliding plastic windows, metal trays for cards or cash and a two-way box for your food. It's wild! The food is good, but could a little extra seasoning and salt. Which is surprising to say for a Chinese food restaurant. The egg rolls and the spring rolls were the highlight of the meal with the orange chicken coming up a close third. The low mein and the mushroom beef were just ok. They aren't allowing any dine-in orders and I'm pretty sure they are closed for delivery, so takeout is the only option. Get those egg rolls!

I love this place. The food just tastes fresher here than other Chinese restaurants in the middle TN area. I love the tofu, it's always perfectly cooked and never overdone! The sesame tofu is absolutely delicious and never dry. The spring rolls were a bit soft but they had good flavor. The employees are friendly. It's clean inside and there's indoor seating although it seems more like a takeaway kinda place. Although they sell fortune cookies on their menu, your food comes with free fortune cookies. I love to get a side of chili oil for an extra kick of spice. They have plenty of easy outdoor parking. You can order online, by phone, or in person. They're fast and order took only 15 minutes to prepare. I recommend!

Sunny Kitchen is a decent place in Mount Juliet to go to satisfy your Chinese food craving. It is a takeout-style place with a front counter and a few tables. Their menu has all the classic Chinese dishes from appetizers to noodles, to fried rice. I ordered the pint size egg drop soup ($1.75), an egg roll ($1.30) and the chicken teriyaki appetizer ($5.50). Even though these items were all from the appetizer section of the menu they were hearty enough for a filling meal, and I even had leftovers. The egg drop soup was okay but I bit on the bland side (even though yes egg drop soup doesn't have a lot of flavor in the first place) The chicken teriyaki appetizer included 4 skewers of chicken that had been marinated in teriyaki sauce and then fried. It was very delicious but after the soup I had 2 skewers leftover since I was full. The egg roll was good. Overall, nothing special but it's still good. The staff was nice, the food was out quickly and the prices weren't bad either.

Never disappointed with Sunny's Kitchen. Have been here many times and tried a variety of menu items. Everything is fresh, made to order and fast! There's the Chinese food basics. General Tso, Sweet and Sour, Sesame Chicken, etc. The simple sounding Salt and Pepper chicken or Shrimp is amazing. Everyone working here are super friendly Highly recommend.

The food lacks flavor. The fried rice was like eating a bowl of white rice and the wonton soup was bland.

Mediocre. Chicken on a stick was some weird part of the chicken and too mushy and chewy. Probably won't return.

We're still on the search for our go-to Chinese restaurant and China Moon might just be it…read more We ordered online with a nice spread of: large wonton soup, large egg drop wonton soup mix, chicken with mushrooms, boneless ribs combo, sesame chicken combo, and bean curd with broccoli. China Moon is tucked in a corner of a small shopping plaza and is easily missed because it is hidden. There's plenty of parking. Our order was ready within 15 minutes and sure enough, was waiting for us when we arrived. The employee was nice and offered any sauces to go with it. Our food was hot and the order was correct. The food was really good! It's been awhile since we had decent Chinese food. The only two things I wasn't crazy about were the soups (nearly flavorless even with soy sauce) and the fried rice (also flavorless). Otherwise, the actual meals were very good and everything was cooked properly. I especially favored the chicken with mushrooms. If we can't find something closer to us, China Moon is going to be our new place. The 15 minute drive is worth it for affordable and comforting food.

Peking has quite the positive reviews overall so we decided to try them out by doing pick-up. It's so refreshing living in a town that everything is opened past 8pm. Our go-to Chinese restaurant back in NC closed at 7pm, so this was a nice treat. My husband went inside to get our order, which was made very quickly. The building definitely looks on the older side and parking is only one way, which was confusing at first. I ordered the pork fried rice, egg drop soup, and wonton soup for myself and my husband ordered chow mein, lo mein, and we shared beef with broccoli, something else I've been craving. The food in general was okay, some outstanding more than others. His lo mein was delicious and my egg drop soup was honestly the BEST egg drop soup I have ever had. It was more broth-y than the standard Chinese restaurant's version and it had a few carrot strips and green onions in it. The pork fried rice was probably the biggest let down. There were no veggies in it and have very little flavor. The wonton soup's broth was nice but the wontons themselves were borderline flavorless. It was very hit or miss with everything we ordered. My husband and I have both been having stomach cramps the past two days since ordering here, both day of and from leftovers. It's unfortunate but we will have to continue to look for our next go-to Chinese restaurant.

The ambiance is not what I'd choose for my anniversary dinner but for casual lunch or dinner it is comfortable. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, she showed me lunch specials on the back of the menu, there were about 2 dozen choices for the entre all came with egg roll, rice, and a choice of soup - hot and sour, egg drop, and wonton. I chose Yu Shiang Beef (its available in pork and chicken too) - I've never seen that on a menu before. The soup and a bowl of fried "crackers" were delivered right away. Lunch was delivered when I was almost done with my soup. If I was working quick delivery would be important to me due to my limited lunch time. The hot and sour soup was flavorful, but it wasn't very spicey or sour, however it was better than the average I've had. The egg roll was large and better than most restaurant egg rolls. the rice was delicious, I wouldn't really call it fried rice but it had added flavor. And the entre was delicious with lots of veggies and a generous amount of beef. the price was less than $11, it's hard to find a good lunch for less than $11 these days. This is my "go to" restaurant when I'm in this part of town. I recommend you try it.

Juliet, TN, looks much the same on the outside as many other take away places, but we couldn't be more wrong! This restaurant has, hands down, the BEST Asian cuisine we've had in the metro Nashville area. From portion size, to the thoughtful service, to the freshest dishes undoubtedly made with love- one is left feeling less like a customer and more like family. One thing that my wife and I couldn't wrap our heads around was why in the world all of Nashville isn't packing this place daily? All we could gather is that it is so unassuming that people don't even know what they have in their own backyard. Do yourself a favor; GO! You'll be thanking me later for the tastiest, most home made flavors that are sure to become must-haves. A+, guys! Well done, and we'll see you again very soon!

We were greeted nicely by the hostess and waited roughly 5 minutes for a table to open up. A family of five came in right after us and decided to sit at the bar to eat. I knew in my heart that this was the best place to go to for my husband's birthday dinner. We sat on some barstools while we waited, discussing the hockey game playing on the tv behind the bar. I loved the low ambient lighting that spread across the ceiling. Our waitress was nice but she never gave us her name so I unfortunately can't shout her out. She gave us recommendations so I ended up taking one of hers. Now, if you have read my Thai restaurant reviews, you know by now that I judge a Thai restaurant by ordering their Pad Thai the first visit, however, I broke that rule because I just KNEW this place was going to be good. We ordered the Tom Kha soup with chicken, Pad Kee Mao with chicken, I ordered the Khao Soi Gai (it comes with chicken, no substitutions), and one Thai iced tea. You guys. When the Tom Kha soup touched my lips, I was SO excited to get the main course! It was made PERFECTLY. I haven't had true Tom Kha since probably when I lived in California over a decade ago. The Thai tea was strong and delicious, exactly how it should be made. The Khao Soi Gai...that first sip of the curry broth nearly made me go Meg Ryan-mode in the restaurant. If you know, you know. "I'll have what she's having!" Our waitress recommended this dish and I'm so glad I was adventurous and tried something different outside of my "I'll judge you based off of your Pad Thai" attitude. It was perfect and when I say perfect, I didn't even add lime juice to it because I didn't want to mess anything up with the flavor profile. Sure, lime could have added another element to the dish but when I say it was perfect the way it was, it's true. The night at Smiley would have ended perfectly if it weren't for the miserable couple who sat beside us discussing how unhappy they were in their marriage and decided to accept the waitstaff into their broken marriage by being completely rude. But the staff remained professional and kind through it all and I give them HUGE props for that because I was a moment away from telling that wretched couple off. In short, the staff here are wonderful, and the food is memorable, delectable, delicious, perfect...it's HEAVEN. We will DEFINITELY be back to try other menu items!

Steamboys isn't exactly 3 stars but it's definitely not a 4, it's more like a 3.5…read more My husband was wanting soup dumplings really bad and most places don't offer this food item because of how long it takes to make. He was really excited to go so we made a 30 minute drive to load up on some dumplings. My first impression was that the place was clean and bright with lots of seating. We were greeted nicely and we sat down to discuss what we wanted before ordering at the register. Disney music played on the speakers the entire time and even me, a Disney-adult, I was over it after having to hear Let it Go twice in a row. We ordered quite the spread: one beef gua bao, one order of chicken & cabbage handcrafted dumplings, one pork belly rice, one chicken gua bao, one zha jiang noodles, soup dumplings, and Thai iced tea, and one jasmine milk tea. In total, with tax and tip, we spent nearly $75. Now, we wouldn't stick our nose up to spending our hard-earned money to get our grub on, however, we felt like we didn't get our money's worth here. The food was just okay. My favorite thing was the beef gua bao and I would absolutely get that one again. The Thai tea was delicious, and the chicken and cabbage dumplings were decent. My husband surprisingly loved the chicken gua bao the most and I really enjoyed it, too. But for the more expensive items like the noodles and rice bowl, they were *fine.* My rice barely had any sauce on them and minimal pieces of pork belly. The soup dumplings, though prepared nicely, were not very flavorful at all. The jasmine milk tea? Probably the worst I've ever had. My husband liked his noodles but I was not crazy about them, they had a very greasy texture to them and the mouth feel was like I was so thirsty at the mechanic that I took a swig of their synthetic motor oil. Now I will say that the employees here are very nice and they bring the food out to you as the dishes are made. Overall, I wasn't impressed with Steamboys except for their beef gua bao and Thai tea. The price didn't match the flavor for the entire meal, so we won't be going back. Service: 10/10 Food: 5/10 (the gua baos and Thai tea are the best) Drinks: 7/10
