The company explained that this is normal because these are not permanent lashes. I usually get lash extensions from another place and they usually last for at least 3 weeks with minimum fall out. Because of this I don't consistently attend chic lash boutique. In this economy today, if I pay a $150 for lashes. I want them to last at least 2-3 weeks without having to touch them up. My appt was schedule for Friday mid-morning and upon arrival there were 2 people at the front desk. I was greeted and checked in, then was told there was a switch with the person I would be scheduled with. I ended up being serviced by Bryce and she was amazing! I had multiple questions and she was very knowledgeable. I will say that there isn't much explaining of the pricing so once back I did have to go back to the front because I signed up for the first timer special, but then once back found out what I wanted would be an additional price. I also wasn't informed that Bryce was a master tech and there's no way of knowing with the drop down on the website. Master tech's are an additional fee so I would definitely review pricing first and confirm tech beforehand. They did tell me they would waive the additional fee since I would think because 1. I didn't choose the person, and again there's no way of knowing from the drop-down on the site who's a master or not. I did go ahead and sign up for the monthly service and enjoyed Bryce so much that I will pay the extra $10 to continue seeing her.

I was very hesitant to get a lash lift because I've always had full and long lashes and was scared they'd get messed up but I wanted to stop using mascara as often so I decided to get one. Now it's June and my lashes are broken off and frizzy. They go all different ways and just look really really bad. I've tried oils and everything to get them to look normal but nothing has worked yet. My experience wasn't great when I went in and now my lashes are ruined, I can't wear mascara because it looks crazy. I'm not sure if they were over curled or the chemicals were left on too long but my eyelashes still haven't recovered. I'm so upset my beautiful lashes are ruined. I regret getting a lash lift and would never get one again unfortunately.

Before I begin, I want to acknowledge my own role in this experience. In hindsight, I should have…read moretrusted my instincts and refrained from proceeding with the service given my known sensitivity. That said, I do feel it's important to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. At the start of my appointment, I informed the stylist that I have sensitivities and have required sensitive glue in the past. She paused to check, then returned and said they did not have any on hand. I expressed my concern, but she reassured me that most clients believe they're sensitive when the real issue is usually application technique. She also mentioned her experience and skill level, which gave me enough comfort to proceed. Immediately after the service, I noticed a burning sensation in my right eye and mentioned it. She gave me a fan to help soothe it and reassured me it would subside. Unfortunately, by the next morning, I had a swollen left eye and a stye something I've never experienced before. Later that day, my right eye became irritated and pink, and I was diagnosed with pink eye. Both eyes were red, irritated, and uncomfortable for what was supposed to be a special occasion my birthday. As I write this, I am still dealing with discomfort and unable to have the lashes removed because I'm out of town. I plan to have them professionally taken off as soon as I return. While I don't place full blame on the stylist, I do believe this situation could have been avoided with clearer communication, more transparency about product availability, and perhaps erring on the side of caution when a client expresses concern. I share this review in the spirit of constructive feedback and in hopes it may be helpful to others with similar sensitivities.
