    Sunny Skillet
    Degen G.

True rating 2/10 Overall disappointing for what I ordered. I got the Sunny's Skillet with Scrabbled eggs. The Skillet was decent however the proportion size was small for $12.49. Service was bad for me due to lack of proportion control asking staff if order was norm; however order was fast and under 7minutes. Ambiance was rustic and simple.

I was turned on to this place by a friend and started go to the one in Carrollton, Tx. When we moved to Denton, we found out there was one in Little Elm. Both spots are good. However, the Little Elm location has a way to transport you back to simple times. The wait staff is attentive and helpful. Ask them to recommend a dish, and they truly show their passion towards it. You know the food is good when eyes roll back, smile form on the face and hands starts to move all around. They are the best live commercial ever seen. The food. The food is great. Fantastic really. The major difference my family and I have noticed about the Little Elm location and from the Carrollton one is the grits. If you like your grits thick and buttery, Little Elm is your spot. You will curse out your big momma for not making it like this. Carrollton is a tad loose consistency, a slight skirmish on the buttery taste, but still good. I can say this because before moving to Denton, my family and I were at the Carrollton location every Saturday. Now since daughter is in college, the Little Elm location is our new meeting place on Saturdays. Now, the pancakes have had me to quoting Despicable Me so many times. Because they are just so fluffy!!! Oh so moist and awesome. Just so perfect. Eggs cooked to whatever perfection you need them to be. You need a mimosa, the got it and in many flavors. Coffee will wake to you up in a nice warm blanket. My only petty complaint is the bacon. I say petty because I was so use to being asked how I wanted my bacon, at this location, you get what they give. Is the bacon still good? It's bacon. But I don't like mine crispy. This has been the only review I have ever written that I feel I am going to regret. This is a wonderful place. The food, the people, the everything. If you try it once, you'll come back. It is a Saturday addiction. I just hope I can still find a way in away from the crowd. And hey, if there's a line, don't get back in your car and go somewhere else. There is no where else. Your tastebuds and your folks will thank you.

The food is good for the price and having been here twice, even on weekends never have any issue getting a table promptly. I had the veggie omelette with fruit which never disappoints for egg white lovers. My boyfriend enjoyed the cinnamon pancakes which are very large (flat not fluffy) but his favorite part is the cinnamon butter on top. I will say the toast always comes out more buttered than I'd prefer. Mimosa was lovely and recommend the grapefruit flavor if you want to change it up from OJ. Enjoyable & an easy breakfast spot!

Decent breakfast and lunch spot. The service and prices were good the breakfast was just ok. The hash browns that came with my eggs Benedict were cold and had little taste to them. Eggs Benedict is not always easy to pull off and this selection was average at this restaurant. The coffee was good and service was fantastic. I might be back but do not expect to be blown away here.

After noticing the restaurant the other day while driving down 423, we decided to give it a try. It's a really nice looking place but it does fece the east, and they don't have anything blocking the sun, so people get a face full of sun in the morning which isn't to pleasant. Upon entry, we stood there a good 45 seconds before the girl at the front acknowledged us. I later realized that she was 1 of only 2 wait staff, plus she has to cash people out. So, yes they are understaffed. I ordered loaded hash towns with toast and my wife ordered a regular breakfast with scrambled eggs, and pumpkin pancakes. About 10 minutes go by and our waitress brings my plate and a plate with bacon, hashbrowns and two fried eggs. Remember, I said she ordered scrambled eggs. She decided to just keep the eggs. I mixed up my hashbrowns, and they looked and tasted really good. So I was pleased with my decision. Several minutes go by, and my wife stops eating because she doesn't want to get too full before getting her pancakes. Yes, it's been several minutes at this point, and the easiest part of our order is still missing. I actually finish my entire meal before the pancakes are brought out, and the waitress says 'just in time'. What the? Just in time would have been about 6-7 minutes ago when the rest of our order was delivered. Anyway, the pancakes looked and tasted amazing. So, if I was reviewing based solely on the food. This place would be a 4.5. Unfortunately, the service was not good here. That's too bad. I don't see us going back. There are too many good breakfast spots in Frisco/Plano, to go to a place that has this level of service.

ABSOUTLEY DELICOUS!!! My boyfriend and I decided to try this wonderful place out and loved it. Grace was our amazing waitress. She was very sweet, attentive and provided top notch customer service. My boyfriend ordered the Banana Bread Oatmeal a bowl of gluten free oats from Bob's Red Mill, sliced banana, brown sugar, chopped walnuts, cinnamon & a drizzle of honey. I had the Berry Yogurt Bowl organic vanilla yogurt, sliced fruit, granola & a swirl of their homemade berry jam, served with a homemade muffin - I had the lemon blueberry muffin. Both are a must try...very yummy

Surprisingly good! I was being bad and had the chicken fried steak, two fried eggs with a side order of biscuits and sausage gravy and hashbrowns. The sausage gravy was soooooo good and I enjoyed the chicken fried steak. The hashbrowns were "ok"! My friend ordered the breakfast tacos and banana foster pancakes...he normally talks me to death so when he's quiet that's means he's happily enjoying his food. Everything is homemade...

A lot of good looking items here. This is just side 1. Lunch on side 2

Trying to move my wife off her Rainman-like creature of habit mentality brings a degree of risk. Thankfully, she didn't feel like fighting me. And she will be the first to admit that she was glad I "forced" her into something new. The deviled eggs were well liked. The entrees for our group included the herb roasted chicken, burger, nachos, and prime rib. For the record, any time I see prime rib on a menu I order it just to see if I'll ever return to that restaurant. Needless to say, it was prepared exactly to specification, with a perfect balance of tenderness coupled with the au jus sauce. My wife, having sampled every plate on the table, couldn't stop raving about the overall quality of every entree. Needless to say, I now have a new "safe" restaurant to add to our repertoire. I hate to add it as a side note, but the service was spot-on and our waitress was a perfect blend of attentive without being disruptive. If I lived in Frisco, WB's would be our local go-to spot. Instead, we'll break out of the bubble and visit often.

Overall, the entree portions for the two items that we had were a bit small. I had the pork tenderloin. It was under seasoned and dry. Glad there was pleanty of mustard sauce on the plate. Wilted spinach was overcooked as well. My wife and daughter wanted to split the burger. This is something they have done often in other restaurants. At least they feel like they had a generous helping of fries. They each received half a piece of wilted lettuce and a quater of a red onion. It is hard to believe that this burger was voted "Best in Frisco 2024." The embiance was nice. We had great ecpectations when we were seated and ordered. We cannot complain about our service. It was memorable.

For food we started with the Brussel sprouts (crispy fried, kung pao vinaigrette, scallions, toasted sesame seeds, cashews) which had a hint of spice and were excellent. For entrees my partner ordered the shrimp and avocado cobb salad (avocado, hard-boiled egg, grape tomatoes, watermelon radish, buttermilk chive dressing) which was so good and the dressing could literally go on anything. For my entree I ordered the brunch pizza which I believe has since been taken off the menu but was excellent. For dessert you'll definitely want to order the Deviled Affogato (devil's food cake, vanilla ice cream, coffee caramel, nitro cold brew coffee shot). The sauce on top and all of the flavors combined make this an excellent way to end the meal.

There is ample space between tables so you don't feel cramped. There are TVs on the walls but it does not feel like a typical sports bar. The vibe is upscale and the restaurant was very clean. We started with the homemade biscuits and they were excellent. The proceeds go to charity so placing this order was no-brainer. The biscuits were light and airy, not dense at all. The jam and butter were the perfect accompaniment. Those biscuits are winners! Everyone should order and help the charity. I had the spicy chicken and waffles and it was excellent. The chicken was indeed spicy but the honey helped cool me off. The chicken was tender, the waffle was light but could have been hotter. If you order this dish, you will need a glass or two of cold ice water! The wife had shakshura and loved it. She got some toast on the side for dipping. The grits on the bottom were perfectly cooked. Her only complaint was the egg was supposed to be runny and it was firm. The kid had sweet potato pancakes but ended up filling up on the biscuits. Overall, food was 5 star and really enjoyable. The prices are very reasonable. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that our server, who was pleasant enough, was not very efficient. I am not sure what the problem was but her head was in the clouds. We would ask for something, she would say ok, and then she would disappear and forget to bring what we asked for. This happened more than once, more than twice, and maybe three times. It became a running joke at our table, what would the waitress forget this time? Other than spotty service, we liked this restaurant very much and we definitely would return if we are the Star District again.
