    HOUSE TRADITIONAL

54th street has really fallen off. It use to be my favorite chain spot. I ordered the chicken finger meal, with a house salad, water w/ no lemon, and baked potato today. I asked for no ranch because I hate it. My water came with lemon, my fries were hard and cold, they ran out of baked potatoes hence the fries, and the ranch I didn't want spilled all over the chicken fingers. The salad is a $3 up charge, and any additions to the salad such as extra croutons or dressing is an up charge. The Colony location is better, but overall I won't be back. I'd rather go to Chili's.

We visited the Frisco location after a great first impression in Allen, as we wanted to try something else from their extensive menu. This time, I got the Grilled Reuben sandwich, and my wife got the Chicken Fajita Skillet. Both dishes were excellent, and the service from Kam was five stars. She told us that today was her first day, but she was an expert and had the best attitude! The place was not packed, but there were a few people at the bar watching football, which created a nice ambiance.

54th Street is always a solid choice for a casual meal with great food and friendly service. The menu has something for everyone -- from burgers and sandwiches to pastas and salads -- and everything comes out fresh and flavorful. The portions are generous, the drinks are well made, and the atmosphere is comfortable whether you're dining with family, friends, or coworkers. The staff is attentive and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about giving guests a good experience. Whether you're stopping in for lunch, dinner, or just appetizers and drinks, 54th Street consistently delivers great value and quality. Highly recommend!

Where is the meat and how many days did they cook these ribs. You can see the bones on both sides.

After 45 years of eating ribs, today I received the most anemic uninspiring ribs ever. Just because the restaurant took delivery of them shouldn't mean they should be served. Is this the level of quality control at this place. It looks like the chef actually cut all the meat off the ribs before cooking them. What a terrible waste of money. Maybe since this was a delivery order he/she thought it was a good opportunity to unload sun-par food. With these standards, what else is leaving the kitchen like this. The baked beans were terrible. I was the only one that tried them so don't really know if they are always terrible or just not my liking.

Overall fast customer service. They were a bit busy for a Saturday afternoon but no real issues to bring to light. The fried pickles were slightly over seasoned but the key lime pie is a must. I'd be back for dinner for sure.

This was such an unexpected surprise of great food. One of the best French Dips I have ever had with such a unique taste. Their aujus juice is like nothing I have ever tasted and it is truly amazing. 10 out of 10! PRIME RIB FRENCH DIP*

54th Street in Frisco is a real gem! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and the service is super friendly. I loved the free WiFi and tasty snacks, but the standout were definitely the margarita and

I see there is a gluten friendly menu. Does anyone know if they have a dedicated fryer for non breaded items to avoid cross contamination?

But first, I went to the counter to order my burger and fries from the friendly cashier. I also ordered an orange-cream soda fountain drink, one flavor among the pure-cane-sugar drinks they offer. No high fructose corn syrup here. The burger was actually much better than I expected. I thought it was quite delicious, and the ingredients were quite fresh. The portion size was good, too. The fries were good, but they weren't the standouts in this meal. The burger and the orange-cream soda were more memorable. Although the place was very clean, and I was sitting indoors, where there are lots of tables and bar seating, there was one aggravation: aggressive fruit flies that have no fear of humans, so it was nearly impossible to swat them away. Thankfully, they were not mosquitoes, but it was impossible to keep them from crawling on my cup and food no matter where I sat in the large dining room room. Although the burger was good, prices are probably a bit high for what you get. That together with the fruit flies resulted in my three-star rating. If you can find a day when the flies are calmer, and you're not paying out-of-pocket (as was the case when I went), it might be worth a try if you are needing a quick meal within walking distance of your hotel.

Sorry for memory lapse) listened well and made suggestions accordingly. Actually, all the staff were friendly & outgoing. We had the egg roll appetizer and scooped up every bit of sauce - was excellent and looked pretty too! That reminds me that the current menu is a fair bit different from several I saw posted in the photos - whether they've streamlined or change it seasonally, not sure, but what we had was top-notch. Also had a couple of Pineapple-tini's, not terribly sweet, would certainly drink again. Shared an oven roasted chicken - would have eaten the entire thing myself given a few spare seconds. Crispy, not overcooked, garlicky potatoes, spinach just cooked and seasoned well, my mouth is watering thinking about it again. Saved room for Bananas Foster bread pudding and again, well-done! I will usually try the bread pudding - searching for the world's best, I guess... Anyway, this one hits right - addition of bananas and some sugared pecans along with a caramel syrup made the flavorful bread pudding base stand out well. Definitely going back, looking forward to trying more dishes. Also, having a patio at the Star is nice, and their interior is cool & casually swank as well. Really thrilled to have another really good casual eatery there.

I ate the popper, lb&j, and the cowboy, which I love (ate the smokehouse in the past and that's also a top choice). The Cowboys pimento cheese was just the right amount of cheese for the slider and the jalapeno cilantro aioli was an outstanding addition to it. The PB&J - I'm a sucker for jam in a burger and the blackberry jam was refreshing and cool and paired great with the bacon in the peanut butter while still complimenting the meat. The Popper had a lot of rosemary lime aioli which was delicious to bite into. I've been here several times and narrowed down to my favorite 4. The sides (waffle fries, extra sugary drinks, onion rings) could be improved but while the sliders are pricy, they leave a great impression. Cowboy - Beef, pimento cheese, crispy onion straws, jalapeño cilantro aioli - DELICIOUS. the pimento cheese was the star of the show and made the slider taste extra good 2. Smokehouse - Beef, smoked brisket, Cheddar, pickled red onion, house BBQ sauce, rosemary lime aioli - I enjoyed this the only downside was the brisket was dry and made me so thankful for the drink that came with my meal. 3. Popper - Beef, fried jalapeño & cream cheese, pepper jam, bacon, cilantro, rosemary lime aioli - DID NOT ENJOY. Unfortunately the jam that this burgie came with just overpowered the whole thing and not in a good way. It did not mesh with the rest of the ingredients and the popper had no flavor or filling. It just flattened when I took a bite and I got nothing but a mouthful of that terrible jam. The waffle fries were ok just nothing special. The onion rings though....OMG so crisp, so fresh, so flavorful. Would just come back for those. Service was fine, we were the only people waiting to order so it was quick.
