I never actually stepped foot inside the Legacy Grill, but had 3 meals delivered to the conference room that we were working from inside the Westin Stonebriar hotel. The food always came out in a timely manner and well-prepared. Be aware that there aren't many healthy options, including the salads. The Legacy Cobb was a huge portion, packed with plenty of bacon, blue cheese, eggs, green onion, and avocado. Truly, they didn't skimp on any ingredient. There was almost too much of each! The Creamy Gorgonzola dressing wasn't too heavy, and tasted more like a Ranch which I enjoyed. I completed it with a healthy portion of chicken on top. I expected the Scampi Style Gemelli Pasta to have a light sauce with tomatoes. But what I received was a much heavier dish full of flavor, so even better! Tomatoes, mushrooms, and wilted spinach are mixed in with the hearty noodles. It is served with a rich brown cream sauce and topped with shaved parmesan. I added shrimp to complete the dish, and they provided plenty of them. We also tried the veggie of the day, artichoke spinach dip, chili con queso, chicken ranch quesadilla, and margherita flatbread. No complaints with any dish. You don't always expect a lot from a hotel restaurant, but I was overall impressed with the food and the fact that we never had to wait too long for it to be ready. read more

Inside the Westin Stonebriar. I was pleasantly surprised by their breakfast buffet. There was a made-to-order omelet/waffle bar as well as bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, toast, and pastries. All the fruit (pineapple, raspberries, blueberries) was really sweet and tasty. Service was prompt and attentive. Too convenient to pass up. read more

Let's just say I've been in a lot better hotel restaurants. The menu was pretty small, but no complaints on the food quality (everyone I was with enjoyed what we ordered). No happy hour... so there goes one star and the temptation to stay at the hotel and dine. Service was OK.... bartender and server were nice but nothing to warrant "above and beyond"... one order was messed up, but promptly fixed. Overall, not bad for a drink at the bar but I'd rather walk or drive to another nearby spot for dinner. read more

Legacy Grill is the breakfast restaurant within the fancy Westin Stonebriar Hotel. Akin to the hotel experience, the breakfast staff is friendly and efficient - Rose, the hostess, is particularly helpful. She even remembers my name! I started staying at this hotel primarily because of the breakfast here at the Legacy Grill. There is a full make-to-order omlette bar here with regular eggs and egg whites, cheese, veggies (spinach, tomatoes, muchrooms, onions, red and green peppers), ham, bacon and a trio of salsas. Heat trays house nicely seasoned and thoroughly cooked hash browns (not the undercooked or overly crunchy stale bits), bacon and a few types of sausages (small breakfast sausages, larger and juicier pork sausages, turkey sausage patties). Fruits include blueberries, strawberries and raspberries, pineapples, cantaloupe and a handful of grapes. Also includes grab and go bananas, apples and oranges. Starches include toasts, english muffins, mini croissants, and assorted mini scones and muffins. Coffee, juice and water are served table side. Views from these dining tables overlook the hotel pool and bocce ball court. read more

I'm not sure why it's a 3 star average, but, it's not exactly 5 star either. I scored it as 5 star to help the average. LoL I travel a lot and in the US, unlike some of the Europe places I travel to, this place is a little above average in comparison to other domestics places I've been. This is based solely from my own experience. The waitstaff as I entered was friendly, I was seated immediately. Because it was a buffet, I went straight to see what was available. On one table, there was breakfast sausage patties, sausage links, bacon, hash browns, oatmeal, fruit and berries, pastries and cinnamon rolls. On a small display, there was a roasting station for toast, bagels, & English muffins. Of course jellies, jams, sweet butter and cream cheese. The third table was an omelet bar where eggs are cooked to order. I'm a sunny side up eggs kinda guy. Perfecto! I went back for seconds and enjoyed my meal with some ice tea and left happy! What a great way to start off your busy day but to enjoy a nice hearty breakfast! I hope you have the same experience when visiting this place! :) read more

The Legacy Grill is the fine restaurant inside the Westin Stonebriar hotel. It is open to the public for breakfast and lunch during the week, breakfast and dinner on Friday and Saturday, and breakfast only on Sunday. The other dinners, they serve much of their menu at the in-hotel bar, which I think is actually a much more elegant dining experience anyways. The dinner menu is a mix of some classics (each with a fancy twist) and specials. The specials seem to rotate based on the chef's interest pretty regularly. For breakfast, you can either order the usual morning fare off the menu, or do the buffet for $19pp. Despite it being a nice restaurant, because it's a resort/golf hotel, you will see a wide range of attire, from fancy to exceedingly casual. The atmosphere is nice but not too nice. My wife and I dined here for breakfast and dinner. We both ordered the buffet, being a big fan of breakfast buffets, but we were a bit disappointed by the size. There's an egg station, cereal, breads, fruits, and about four buffet warmers. The buffet comes with drinks. For the price, we thought the selection was pretty small. Everything on the buffet was very tasty, and the coffee was good, but this breakfast buffet should have been priced at about $12pp, not 19. Regular menu items also appeared pretty overpriced. For dinner, we were on a Thursday night so we dined in Ernie's Bar, which was a very pleasant atmosphere. The entree prices were pretty reasonable, though the wine was a bit pricey. My wife had a cobb salad, which was very good but could have used a bit more greens. I had a special, which that night was a weinerschnitzel. My entree was excellent and sizeable - I was very pleased. Overall, we were pleased, but not overwhelmed. It was good, but we probably wouldn't dine here again. read more

I would suggest to have employees that want to be here I visited Friday. I was appalled by how rudely I was treated. Brought my family in and wanted a friendly meal with family given we had 7 people in our party I feel the service could have been better. I will try again another day. Today I went to Legacy Grill. In the past I have been there and had a nice meal. Today, my meal was a mix of service from Chuck'E Cheese and Mcdonald's. There wasn't a host on duty (despite the fact they had a full convention) so we helped ourselves and moved 2 tables together. After 30 minutes the waiter [a'hem man who takes order and walks off] showed up and literally said "what do you want to eat." We placed a very simple order of 3 sandwiches, 3 bowls of soup and a salad. Food came after 45 minutes. I asked kindly for a to go container for my soup.....I got a Starbucks cup dropped at the table, a counterpart asked if he had any bread for his soup, he got tons of saltine cracker packs all over the plate. Seriously, this place has gone downhill for the price point. There are many alternatives within walking distance. The waitstaff doesn't need a white shirts and a bow-tie, they need an apron and name tag. read more

Easy parking or valet, you pick. We go here on Sundays for Brunch, is never crowded and not loud at all. You have a choice of Buffet or ala Cart. Coffee is great for American coffee, I drink espresso. They have a hot omelette station, but I tend to over eat, so I order from there menu. Portions are very generous and service is great. Try the California omelette with Hash brown potatoes, side of bacon and wheat toast. 1 star off for not having the live one man band music. :-( read more

I attended a meeting at the Westin Stonebriar earlier this year and our group dinner was held at the Legacy Grill. Honestly, there is nothing special about this place...just your average hotel restaurant that isn't really trying to be a destination for the locals - a shame in my book. I was there for the weekend and decided I couldn't wait for dinner. I ordered the Texas Reuben Sandwich with onion rings. The pastrami was very dry and the bread was also hard to bite. I was too hungry to complain so I ate what I could. Fresh ingredients will go a long way, something this place could use. read more

What happened to our beloved Legacy Grill?? We've just come back to the area after being gone for a few years and the first place we wanted to return to was Legacy Grill. What a disappointment! We've been twice now, once for just an after church brunch, and then today. Mother's Day. Gone are the days with a lovely Mother's Day brunch.. no carving station, no biscuits and gravy, no regular eggs on the buffet. The brunch buffet is small and extremely limited. We used to celebrate every Mother's Day and Easter Sunday here... tables were LOADED with wonderful selections of foods, pastas, eggs, casseroles, fruit, desserts, pastries, etc, etc... NOTHING like that now. Even the regular Sunday brunch is just blah. What happened??? This is a WESTIN hotel... a really nice place... but this Legacy Grill is not worth your time or money. read more
