Becoming a regular here, it can be popular so I always try to go during off hours. So far I've tried a lot of different Japanese and Korean things on the menu and everything has been amazing, waitresses are always super friendly and attentive too whether I'm a solo customer or with others, or whether it's off hours or peak times. Best sushi I've had in El Paso that's consistently great, and such a beautiful restaurant too.

Ambiance- the interior was very aesthetic and clean, loved the high ceilings and open warehouse concept and artwork Staff&Service-our waiter was so attentive and checked in often but not too often just the right amount :) service was prompt Food- all our meals came with miso soup and pickled cucumber! The pickled cucumber was very good and refreshing. We ordered 2 appetizers (hamachi with jalapeño and combo tempura) The tempura was the perfect mix of light and crispy, Loved the shrimp and green bean the most; the hamachi was pretty fresh and the sauce with the jalapeño gave it a nice kick! Also ordered several rolls- the sauces overall were pretty salty but otherwise good rolls. Would probably ask for the sauce on the side or just a light spread next time!! Overall a good experience with good food! Will come back with family and friends :)

Thank you sweet baby Jesus! The Northeast has their own Sunnys Sushi! So much yes! I was so stoked to find out it finally opened! My fiancé and I are absolutely obsessed with this place and ever since we spotted their location off the 54, we have been on the edge of our seats. Beautifully put together as expected! Much more hip and chic than some of the original spots but not any less in demand! I came to grab me and my bestie a booth for lunch around 12:30 and it was almost packed but I was lucky enough to grab the last booth. At first, the boy at the check in stand was happy to seat me in the booth but a manager came up behind and had to correct him that booths should only be for a party of 4 and a party of 2 should be seated along the patio. I would like to see the policy for that one day. Luckily the guy was nice enough to keep persuading her to let us sit there. Aside from that SNAFU, me and my bestie happily ordered some of our favorite lunch specials, had yummy sushi, and laughed over the dumbest things as any lunch date would go. Cant wait for the next visit!

The place has the same vibe as all the other Sunny's so not much difference there. The service was quick but also still training. The food was pretty good. I got a rainbow roll and a volcano roll along with the lemon yuzu mousse cake. It came out quickly and was nice and fresh.

This is an extremely late review lol. I went here on February 10th, my birthday to celebrate. It was a busy Saturday night but there was only 2 of us so we were sat down pretty quickly. I loved the decor and vibe in here. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful, and suggested a sake for us. We ordered two rolls for appetizers and then ordered teppanyaki plates for entress. The food was great, very fresh and flavorful. The only thing that was kinda disappointing was that they don't cook the teppanyaki in front of you, its done back in the kitchen and that honestly is one of my favorite parts of going to a restaurant like this. Overall, it was a great experience and would go again.

Mia at Sunny's Sushi was fantastic! Her knowledge, friendly service, and attention to detail made our dining experience exceptional. Highly recommend asking for her!

At 59, I'm ticking off a bucket list item. Driving across America. I am currently in El Paso, TX…read morehaving started in Tampa, FL and will end up in Fresno, CA. so, I have been thinking about steak & West Texas Chophouse looks very good. Indeed, they lived up to their Yelp reviews. I had a 20 oz. Bone in Ribeye (the way God intended ) cooked medium with backed potato. I won't be slapping my mother but I will call her later this evening , to sing the praises of this excellent piece of meat. Particularly the char. It is the best I have ever had. If this placed served a dish that consisted of nothing but the end pieces (where they hug the bone) I would have to consider moving here. That char was perfectly blackened & bursting with flavor. The baked potato (which was backed in an oven & NOT microwaved) was very good also. The Alex's Philly Cheesecake was not as good as the steak but it got the job done. I sat at the bar so the service was immediate but the unsweetened tea tasted like I was the second person who drank some all day. This place is large (it has 'Texas' right in the name!) & because you have to do parking lot gymnastics in the full parking lot, I expected a little wait on this hot Sunday afternoon. Happily there was no wait. It has a high barn-like roof that amplifies customers talking to a semi-comfortable background cacophony but the steak was so good I entered into my own little world. The only down side was that the steak & especially the backed potato could have been a little hotter. If I ever wander through these parts again, I will definitely return. 4-stars

Extremely Disappointed, Multiple Issues Throughout…read more I had high expectations for this restaurant given its chophouse reputation, but our experience was disappointing from start to finish. We ordered the bone marrow appetizer, iceberg wedge, Caesar salad, and two kids meals to go. Unfortunately, nearly every aspect of our order had problems. The bone marrow was excessively salty to the point of being inedible. We tried to salvage it by scraping away the salt, but ultimately had to throw it out, I was not happy as you know bone marrow is not cheaply priced. The salsa macha accompanying it was also missing. My Caesar salad arrived with wilted lettuce literally hanging out of the container, clearly not fresh enough to serve. One kids meal had the wrong side item, no silverware was provided, and our drinks were forgotten entirely. We returned to address these issues, and while the manager was apologetic and remade our order, the replacements were still subpar. My LARGE salad was noticeably smaller than what I originally ordered, and the salsa macha, when finally provided, was very mediocre at best. I've had a lot better. I'm typically understanding when restaurants make one or two mistakes, but when an entire order is executed this poorly, it's hard to overlook. I understand they were busy, but they seriously need to execute better under those conditions. For a chophouse at this price point, the quality and attention to detail should be far better. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

As we were seated our waiter took 10 min to great us and then another 12 min to bring our drinks. I didn't think anything of it yet it was a precursor to the rest of our dinner. After he took our order our kids food came out in a very timely fashion but our two orders of salmon and one steak sandwich took 40 min to arrive at the table. What a ridiculous waste of my time because my sandwich was missing the fries ordered and our waiter thought nothing of it till I brought it up then he took another 10 min to bring my fries. All this while simultaneously forgetting the sauce for the salmon which also took another 10 min to bring out. The salmon was so dry it was tacky and stuck to your teeth. If you know the feeling you know it's bad. The rice that came underneath the salmon was crunchy and way undercooked. All while the waiter was like oh I can bring you free deserts for your wait all while I could only think about how I just wanted to leave. I was internally livid and exhausted but kept it to my self after seeing the owner or manager who we the guy with the white hair over at the bar enjoying a few alcoholic beverages meanwhile his restaurants service and waitstaff to the worst possible job they can. I saw the people who got the most attention and good service were all regulars sitting at the bar laughing it up with the manager/owner older guy. Why not make sure your restaurant is running smoothly and food is being delivered and prepared properly and stop trying to impress the regulars who most likely will show up either way. Any restaurant that is this unorganized and unmotivated is due to crappy management. All this and the waiter is like I'll comp you for the steak sandwich with a discount for the bad service and salmon which was a whopping $5. I don't want a discount I don't want free day old desserts I want good service and decent food. Discounts and free desserts will never fix the problem because it will always be a crutch for trashy customer service. How about stop drinking with the guests and whoop that staff into semi decent shape buy some high chairs and make sure your expo does a once over quality check on the food and time it takes to get to the table EVEN if that means stepping in and doing it yourself. The restaurant is dark the tables are sticky the whole place is very compact . Perfect and quite attractive after 5-6 wines for sure. I'm sure the food is outstanding after a few drinks as well . They gave us a $25 dollar gift card to return which if I could I'd give to the owner so he could experience the same horrible food and service we did. I wouldn't even give the gift card to someone I hated. This was one of the first times in a long time I didn't just let it slide because I understand all restaurants and people have bad days but this was exceptionally bad. If you are thinking it can't be that bad think again it absolutely can. The whole "I'm sorry we usually have awesome service and everyone loves our food it's probably just me and my family " is laughable . This isn't my first time here while visiting El Paso. The food is getting worse.

The staff was incredibly accommodating, and our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and so helpful with recommendations. The wedge salad was the standout of the night, generously portioned, perfect for sharing, and absolutely delicious. The pesto spaghetti was equally impressive, with a beautifully balanced sauce that wasn't overpowering. I ordered the miso black cod, which was cooked perfectly and beautifully flaky. It took forever for us to order our food. And our food didn't get to us until almost an entire hour after ordering. Ummm that was horrible. We were sitting for almost two hours before food got to us. Two of our orders of steaks were ordered as medium-rare, and our steaks were dry AF. I told the waitress that we wanted a new steak, and she brought back the steak while flashing a flashlight over it to defend her cook, saying it is medium-rare and to look at it again.
