Came to visit here with my gf and it was quite pleasant! She got the pictured snacks and I got green tea with no sugar and milk and both were good items and made exactly how I wanted it made. Service was fast and ambiance is just like any boba shop with students studying or playing games. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

My wife and I, both tea lovers, finally decided to check out Sunright Tea Studio in Upland after it's been on our list for a while. We were excited to try a new tea place in the neighborhood, but overall the experience was just okay. What We Tried: We ordered a couple of teas -- and while they were pleasant, nothing really stood out compared to other tea spots we've been to. Prices: Around $10 per drink, which is similar to other tea places nearby. Fair, but not competitive enough to make this our go-to. Overall Vibe: Service was fine and the atmosphere was nice, but in the end nothing blew us away. It wasn't a bad visit, but it also didn't leave us excited to come back. Would We Return? Probably not, unless we're in the area and craving tea. For now, we'll stick with our favorite tea spots that deliver more flavor and uniqueness. Tip for Fellow Tea Lovers: Worth checking out once if you're nearby -- but if you're after something memorable, you might find better options elsewhere.

In Upland, I know of a few boba shops. Most recently, I discovered Sunright Tea Studio has opened up a location at the Upland Shopping Center. I was so excited I had to swing on by to pay them a visit. I've only been to their Eastvale location. It's nice to have them in Upland since I frequent this city regularly. Upon entry, I was amazed by its good open space and bright yellow colors. They have inside tables and chairs for chilling unlike their Eastvale location. There's a long hallway that takes you to the restrooms. There are two kiosks for self ordering and one register for counter ordering. I used the kiosk as it was easier. I got the Mango Milk Tea with egg pudding and no ice. First time having mango milk tea... it was quite good actually. Good mango flavor and smooth consistency. It's almost like a mango smoothie. Egg pudding was yummy. I would get it again. Staff was nice. Service was quick. Good place to hangout. I'll be back for more Sunright Tea! Btw, they do have a reusable cup policy if you're interested.

The person working made me feel unsafe because of my allergy, which can be deadly. They were rude from the beginning. I was worried about my milk (whey) allergy, so I stepped to the side to see what my options were, as Boba tea places are never an issue for me and I just needed time to look over the menu. When I was ready to order, the person working told me to go use the kiosk. I noticed that there was a sign that said first time customers can order at the counter, and because I was a first-time customer I thought that was acceptable. I then mentioned to her kindly that I had specifications about my allergy and wanted to make a note in person, and she snapped back and told me I should use the kiosk and that I could "write allergy" in the kiosk. She looked very annoyed, and made me feel like she didn't take my allergy seriously. Her tone was aggressive, and glared at me intensely. She made me incredibly uncomfortable as a customer. Everything in her body language from the beginning to the end of the experience was hostile. There are plenty of other Boba places so I definitely won't be back, but wanted management to know because you should be aware that you have staff working in the day that treat their customers like this. I have to be safe when it comes to my allergy, because it can be deadly for me. I didn't feel safe, all because someone was rude and careless. Please avoid this location if you have a serious allergy.

My sister told me about this place before and I decided to give it a try. It's in a plaza where I normally get Pho Century so there is a lot of parking. As soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me and was friendly. The inside looked really clean and has a nice atmosphere. The menu has a lot of options to choose from. I decided to try there popular drink of Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea with 75% sugar & not popular drink of Red Bean Boba Milk Tea with 75% sugar. At the register it says "No Cash! Sorry!". I asked what was the reason and the employee seemed unsure but guess that it could be due to efficiency or possible cash shortage. The Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea tasted good and the boba was soft and chewy while Red Bean Boba Milk Tea tasted a little bland to me which I end up didn't finish the drink. I personally wouldn't come back here again due to not giving me options to pay in cash. What if I didn't have my credit card and only had cash so I can't go buy a drink due to not accepting cash. Also, the price is a bit pricier and the taste was alright. It's cheaper going to Tpumps, which is down the street, and the drinks taste better.

New opened location in Southern California, Sunright Tea Studio in Upland can be found in the same plaza as Stater Bro's with plenty of parking. This location had their grand opening this past weekend (Mother's Day weekend). Because of their buy one get one free special, my husband and I decided to drive out here to take advantage of this deal. We arrived on Sunday and waited in line and were able to make our order around 8:35 pm. We waited 17 minutes for our drink but understand the wait since they are new (although I know that there were several people ahead of us who ordered more than 2 teas which takes time). We ended up ordering: Strawberry Jasmine Tea, $5.95- My husband had his drink the next day since it was a bit too late to have tea. My husband told me that his tea was over steeps which is a disappointment. The sweetness level of 50% was just fine though. Sunright Fruit Tea, $5.95- I really like Sunright's signature fruit tea and am glad my drink was just as good as it was at the other locations that I gone to previously (Sunright Tea is probably one of my top favorite tea houses). My drink with the 50% sweetness level was just fine for me and I had my drink made with no ice. I also had my drink the next day. ------------------------------- (Total= $5.95 after tax + grand opening special) This particular location is not in the general area I frequent but would consider trying this location again if I do find myself in this part of the IE.

You order from a kiosk as soon as you walk in. You can order with a team member but it's pretty obvious they would prefer a kiosk order. Nice workers though! Got a Jasmine Milk Tea (modified it to less sweetness!) and it was delicious! Wifi and plenty of space to work. It would be nice to have a few couches and bigger tables as there is only wooden seats and 2 top tables. However, it was a nice place to get some work done.

Boba is good, staff is nice. I had the promo Star Rail drinks, those were okay. Another day, I had the Matcha Strawberry Latte which was amazing!!! I like it sweet so others might have to drop the sweetness level. I also ordered a Black Tea with Grass Jelly (no milk), and it was so refreshing!!! Super sweet, so drop the sweetness level to your liking. I'd come here again even after the Hoyoverse promos because the current staff is cool peoples! read more

Very happy that they've expanded to Upland! Location is in the Stater Brothers plaza and two doors down from Pho Century. It's an older building, but they done a good job in updating the space. Drinks taste just as good and the staff are friendly. Manager said she oversees 7 locations in the area. Definitely coming back. read more

Finally an actually good boba place in Upland! I'm so glad Sunright opened up here. The new location is pretty big compared to other locations which is nice. It's remodeled and has a really open concept! Drinks are good. Staff are getting use to the new location and training, but since this is a franchise, drinks still are great! I hope this location gets a lot business and stays around, we need this Sunright in Upland! read more

Missed connection. Wanted to try it out but it's credit card/ debt card only no cash... and unknown boba isn't worth going all the way to the bank to deposit cash for when there's other near by spots. Ambiance: 5/5 Looks nice inside Staff: 5/5 Very helpful and friendly Ability to pay : 2/5 Alienating cash carrying would be patrons when so many near by shops do not. And when I went one of your two kiosks was down. Cannot comment on how the food tastes but there's tons of options. Will return with a debt card some day hopefully one day and I might update this review then. read more

I usually order my boba drinks 50% sweet wherever I go and Sunright always makes it right! Every drink I've gotten here has been good. They also sell drinks by the half gallon which is great for pot lucks! Service is pretty fast and they have an online ordering option if you want to order ahead. Inside of the shop is very bright and clean. This is probably my favorite boba shop in the area so we will definitely be coming back! read more

Staff was nice and friendly, ambience of the shop was fine but honestly the odor of the shop was terrible. It smelled like old wet dish rags and wet dog. I ordered a hot taro tea it was 50% foam, 25% tea and 25% of a thick layer of taro that was flavorless and was pretty gross by the end, I honestly wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking to try a taro beverage other drinks I'm not sure I haven't tried can't say I am going to overall I really wouldn't recommend this business. read more

For me, Sunright is usually a solid choice for boba. It was my first time at this location, and I decided to try the white peach oolong milk tea. This was one of the rare times I did not finish my drink. The peach flavor tasted very artificial and left a disgusting after taste. Very disappointed; I would not recommend this drink. read more

I was so excited that it's peach season again and was eager to try the new peach milk tea as I absolutely love their peach jasmine. However I think they either forgot to add the peach purée entirely or it really just doesn't have any peach flavor whatsoever. I'm so disappointed since the peach jasmine tea has so much more flavor All it tasted like was just plain jasmine milk tea, would not recommend. You should go for the other drinks instead. read more

I've been here twice and both times they messed up my order. Came a third time and they turned me away saying they were still closer, when the sign said they were still open. Would not recommend until they are able to get their act together. Going to give them a month to figure it out and hopefully it'll be better. read more

This is such a nice location! I've been to the one in chino and the one in Rancho Cucamonga and this by far is the nicest location. There's plenty of seating and the service was super quick. I love the self ordering kiosk and how easy it is to explore the menu. Everything is so customizable and overall the vibe is very chill and easy going. The fruit teas are so refreshing and their Oreo boba options are tasty. I would go back!! read more

I normally order through Uber eats and I love their boba, but I was in the area and had extra cash on me so I decided to go and buy one since I've never actually been inside the store. I walk in and I go to the counter and the girl working there looks at me like I was crazy and said, "are you here for pick up" in a rude tone, I told her I wanted to order, and she just told me I had to order at the kiosk, I was already upset by the way she was treating me so I already wanted to leave but then I noticed that they only accept card and I asked her is there anyway I can pay with cash and she said no, again in a rude tone. I had card on me but she seemed like she was such in a bad mood I was afraid that if I ordered something she not even make it right so I just left. This was on 12/23/2023. I will continue to order from this place from Uber eats but never in store. read more

Pork belly was very tender but didnt really taste like anything. Garlic fried rice was a bit tasteless and hard. The passionfruit green tea was good and definitely the highlight of the meal. Service was good and quick, and the indoor seating is solid. Nice interior design that feels cozy and inviting.

If it's your first time here, the signage is a little confusing because on the building it says Bubble Tea but when you get closer they have smaller signage on their windows that indicates they are indeed, Hak Foods. Incase you're still lost - they are to the left of Panda Express. It's a quaint little spot with a friendly and very attentive staff, food was made fresh, packaged neat as can be and was just flat out pleasant. As others have mentioned, quality is good, price is excellent and it's definitely a spot that you'll want to return to because the people there are serving their food with love. I requested reservations in advance and was called my a lovely worker who helped set up and confirm my visit time. You do have to choose your tea service options at the time of reservation. I chose to get the full tea for my party which came with Tea, a scone, jams and cream, lemon curd, soup and salad, sandwiches and desserts. We were presented with a variety of teas to choose from as well. Everything I tasted here was delicious. I enjoyed every last bite and drink. Our server was so kind and helpful. Paired with the overall ambiance of the tea room itself, we just had a wonderful time. I can't wait to come back to celebrate with more tea in the future!
