Love the food here and love the owners and staff (family owned I believe). We come here often and the food is always excellent - fresh and cooked just right! The best breakfast in Auburn! My favorite is the Big Benny. It is a fantastic version of eggs Benedict. My husband and I have loved this restaurant and the owners since the day we walked in. This is an excellent "go to" restaurant. You will probably return, if you live in the area, time and time again. We enjoyed breakfast at the Sunrise Cafe this morning. The food and service were excellent. Our meals were delivered exactly as ordered and my coffee cup never went empty. The food was hot and fresh. The only criticism which is not the restaurant's fault at all is the very poor condition and maintenance of the parking lot, flower beds, etc. It appears the landlord simply doesn't care about the impact of the poor maintenance of the grounds. I hope all the tenants start demanding rent decreases upon lease renewal based upon the lack of upkeep to the grounds. read more

This place is great. And so easy to order online. The staff is super friendly and nice.

For a brand new restaurant this has potential. Nice to have a place close by. Still has a few kinks to work out but they are trying hard. They use fresh ingredients which is a step up from the Clubhouse. Portions are large. Corned beef was homemade but cooked soft with too much fat. Don't come with more than 4 people. They can't really handle large tables. read more

FALSE ADVERTISING!!! Huge sign in their window advertising $4.99 breakfast burrito until 9am. I call two in at 8am, then when I come in they tell me the deal is only for ham breakfast burrito (one of mine was ham) and without sides -- which I didn't even want. They proceeded to charge me $10 each. With this type of shady business practices it makes you wonder what goes into their food. read more
