This salon is the bomb dot com! I was a walk-in on a Friday afternoon so I was lucky that they had some availability for me. I got a simple mani and a slightly upscale pedi (with focus on fixing any callouses). Both ladies that were helping me were super nice, polite, caring, and also very considerate to wear a mask when they were around me. (I didn't care too much about masks but I had worn one since I'd be in close proximity to the salon workers). Cassie did my mani and she was super quick and efficient; nice to chat with and she had great attention to detail. Lynn did my pedi and she was also very attentive and did a great job. Bonus were the arm and leg massages that came with the mani pedi as well; it felt like I was at a spa! These ladies work hard and they're super deserving of MORE CUSTOMERS! The salon is tucked away in a corner of a shopping complex so it can be easy to miss. But I think that they're so good at what they do and deserve more business! This is a difficult call for me, because I really liked the owner, the place is cute, and everyone seemed nice. But my experience 2x hasn't been great, so I'm going to call it and move on. I went once and got dip instead of my regular gel, which was my mistake. I have short nails, and they were SO thick, it looked terrible. On top of that, the color looked nothing like it did in the book. I called on my way home and to her credit, the owner told me to come back and she'd fix them. So she shaved them down enough, so it wasn't SO thick, but it was still bad enough that I came back less than a week later to get them off and to get gel. So I called and they said to come in at a certain time. When I got there, I still had to wait 25 min, which I understand things happen, but still. I chose a gel color from their book, they didn't have it. No problem. I picked another, they didn't have that one either. So I used one I brought myself. I got them done last night at 6pm ish, and it's not even noon the next day, and they've already turned colors, I suspect from not having them in the light for long enough (I kept them in for as long as they told me to). Anyway, another $45 down the drain. I'll move on and find another San Pedro nail place, but it's unfortunate bc it's a cute place and everyone seems nice. read more

I genuinely love this nail salon & have recommended it to a lot of people, they have a great selection and really take their time, but the past two times have rubbed me the wrong way. Last time I went in I had an appointment but still had to wait 45 minutes. Today I also had an appointment in the morning (I received an email confirmation and everything) when I got there the salon was empty and closed. They never called to cancel and when I called and got ahold of someone an hour later they didn't even apologize and told me they had availability in 2 hours. read more

SO SO BAD! And so expensive.... The slowest (was there almost 3 hours) and one of the most expensive mani pedis I've gotten in the area , total came out to be like $180 for basic gel x and gel toes. Idk HOW that happened but if you are going to charging more than lovely nails and spa (the best nail salon) then you better do a good job. Nails were not shaped well, they had attitude , and I was there for almost 3 hours and they were doing my nails at snail speed . Idk if the had girls who were learning doing my nails but that is not ok to do and then charge full price.... They just don't have skills there . Prices should be lowered in my opinion and I regret paying honestly I should have just walked out or complained and got a discount because I was very upset with my nails that I spent my hard earned $$$$$ on. I was pleasantly pleased with my first experience at Sunrise Nail Salon and with Cassey, who did a wonderful job, on my nails. I was able to make a same day appointment and only waited about 5 minutes before she started on me. I was greeted warmly and given a color book of dip powders to look at while I waited. I never had a dip service before but I loved it. I was offered a mimosa and listened to nice relaxing music while my nails were done. Cassey is friendly and pays great attention to your nails and is gentle. This is the first time I left a salon with no cuticle cuts, so I'm happy. I will definitely be back. Decided to give this place a try on a whim while waiting outside of another nail shop that failed to open on time. This was the first shop to come up and I am so glad to have found it. I finally call the phone number and I can hear it go off, a girl answers and asks me what I need to get done, she also tells me she's sitting right outside. Did a walk-in 2 days ago and I absolutely loved the experience from Leo. I wanted a gel pedicure so I went with the Express Pedicure which was $30 and I paid $20 more for gel + another $8 for French tip. Leo was very careful with my toes. The salon looked clean and he used sanitized tools which is so hard to find in a salon nowadays. I called this morning to schedule a mani/pedi. It was my second visit. The first wasn't so great I was helped by a very inexperienced you lady. After she brought in the owner Cassie to help things got better. So I thought I would give them a second chance. I asked for 11:00 am and requested a more experienced person. I guess that was my mistake!! Cassie said that person was in traffic if I could make it 11:15. Sure no worries. I arrived at 11:22 because it took me 5 mins to find parking .Parking is terrible in this center. As I walked in both Cassie and the other employee were waiting on a client. Cassie immediately told me I was late and she took another customer!!! What??? She went on to tell me my appointment was at 11:00 and I was late .
