We came here on a Wednesday in the early afternoon and they were pretty busy; the place was filled with seniors. Our party ordered burgers, a Philly steak sandwich, a greek chicken pita wrap, and a turkey bacon sandwich. We sat down and were served our food in about 10-15 minutes. Our waiter was also really nice and attentive the whole time we were there. Everyone enjoyed our food here and the prices were reasonable. The only minor thing is are the little details; my partner ordered medium but the burger was more well done; I had a sourdough sandwich with turkey and bacon, but the bread and turkey were a bit dry. But everyone enjoyed their meals overall and we would recommend his restaurant to others passing by!

On our way to Letchworth and needed a bit to eat. Very cute ambience with nice paintings on all the booths, recessed ceilings, and cute light fixtures. Very friendly staff, service wasn't speedy but wasn't slow either. I had an omelette, the wife had eggs, bacon, and toast food was nicely prepared and tasty (sorry for the half eaten pics but we were hungry). Good coffee, crisp bacon. Very pleased.

A great idea to get your mugs paid for!

I was on a mission in Dansville, camera in hand, when I realized I had left early in the morning without eating breakfast. My coffee and honey cruller from Timmy's was fine a little after 6, but by 10, I had that empty feeling. I had been seeing lots of locals going in here so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered one blueberry pancake and my waitress lit up and smiled broadly as she said, "Those are the best!" She brought it out a little while later, I had time to check my email and make sure the world back home hadn't come to an end. I enjoyed my coffee in a mug covered with advertising squares that resembled a miniature, minor league, outfield wall. My pancake was thick and large enough to almost cover the plate. The blueberries, and there were plenty of them, had settled into the surface like salt crystals sinking into a cake of ice. I buttered it up and added syrup. (Syrup here is served in a bottle and not those annoying, portion-controlled, pre-packed squares that are never enough to last an entire breakfast.) I was concerned that a pancake that thick might look good on the outside but be soft and doughy on the inside. It wasn't! It was soft and chewy, just the way I like 'em. The wait staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, and set for 2020 social distancing. If you live in the Dansville area, you've got a nice place for family dining.

Blueberry pancakes (made with sweet cream!) and eggs over easy. Beautifully done.

We stumbled upon Sunrise Family Restaurant after a night slumbering in Stony Brook State Park. And let me tell you, after a night in the woods, replenishing the tummy with breakfast at this place was INCREDIBLE! To be specific, the pancakes (according to our waitress, made with sweet cream!) were fluffy and ACTUALLY tasted like cake. Usually when we eat pancakes, they're more like griddled medals of butter. But no, these are golden circles of would-be Marie Antoinette-approved pan-"let them eat cakes." Para mis compañeros hispanohablantes, por favor permítame decirte que este restaurante es su selección mejor para desayunar.

Not a bad. Not spectacular. I would assume breakfast is their big draw as it was pretty quiet at lunch time. I had clam chowder and a fish sandwich. I put hot sauce on everything and they have Red Hot so I can't really complain. This menu reminds me of like an average golf course clubhouse menu. Basic soups and sandwiches. It's a safe lunch spot but I would go for breakfast next time.

Their menu has what you'd expect from a classic diner, prices are cheap, and service is quick! We got the Country Style Eggs and Patty Melt. Both lacked basic seasonings like salt & pepper. If I was rating off the food alone, I'd give it a 3/5. The home fries in the Country Style Eggs could've been crispier and adding hot sauce definitely saved this a bit. The biscuit we got with it was homemade and so delicious. It was warm, buttery, and satisfying. The Patty Melt was a bit dry and desperately needed a sauce. I used ketchup and asked for pickles which helped. The rye bread was surprisingly not dry and grilled nicely with butter. It was definitely a heavy meal but we needed it after a long drive. It's not the kind of place where you'll have an amazing meal but it'll do the job at a super affordable price.

True Northern Hospitality! A warm welcome, "What can I get for you, Sugar" attitude…read more It's one of the most welcoming restaurants I've ever been to. The older woman who took care of us gave us the service you would expect from going to grandmas house. It was wonderful, I miss it! The food was what you would expect. Typical diner food, but with a home cooked feel. I remember getting pancakes and bacon. It taste like home.

The place was busy and when a table is available, you seat yourself. Service was very friendly and attentive. Reason for 4th star. Worth stopping when in the area and will return, next trip to the outlets. Just no lemonade or turkey dinner! Private parking, large lot. Milk shakes oh my. Unique menu, with interesting toppings. Vanilla milk shake was excellent. Stay away from their lemonade. Very disappointed. Pepsi machine and tasted poorly. TURKEY DINNER WAS JUST OK. SIDE Salad came with the dinner. Very fresh. Next trip getting their Julienne Salad. Looked amazing. Roast Turkey Dinner - Just like Thanksgiving, Not! Oven roasted turkey breast with our homemade stuffing (don't think it was) & gravy (so, so) over it all. Served with cranberry sauce 15.99. French Fries were very good. Fried Clams - Deep fried to perfection, on a bed of lettuce served with our cocktail or tartar sauce 16.9 Was large and very good. Chicken Caesar Salad - Chilled romaine tossed with caesar dressing, parmesan cheese, croutons and topped with grilled chicken 13.99 Was extra yummy.
