The server was very kind and welcoming, the food however was nothing special. I ordered the meat lovers Bennie, eggs were cooked perfectly and the meat was good however nothing to rave about. The English muffin was store bought and the hash browns tasted like they were from bagged frozen ones. We also ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, bun tasted like Walmart brand bagged, chicken sandwich seemed like a frozen patty they added sauce to and the fries also seemed like they were from a freezer bag. Unexpected absolutely scrumptious breakfast experience. Maybe it helped we showed up on a Sunday rainy/snowy day in Seattle. They do have a few dedicated parking spots right behind the building so you don't necessarily have to fight the street parking. We lucked out and found a spot which is a small miracle in and of itself in Seattle. The café gives the vibe of more of an old time diner. Interior design gives more of a 70s vibe. It still feels clean, and the staff was very warm, welcoming, and very attentive. The menu is very extensive. There's truly something for everyone. Well their sweet breakfast sounded very, very tempting, I ordered the meat lovers burrito to pack in a higher protein breakfast. Very generous portions, there was tons of meat inside and lots of flavor! Hashbrowns are traditional, grated potato style. My daughter loved her eggs, Benedict, which included three eggs again, very large and portions. We absolutely will look forward to coming back. read more

I was going to order breakfast on Grubhub and saw this was incredibly close to my house so decided to go in to eat instead. Came at 730 on a Sunday morning, and was the only diner. Many to-go orders were picked up during my stay. Service was incredibly kind, friendly and prompt. Nice 50s and 60s soundtrack playing. Diner vibes. I had the French toast combo with scrambled eggs (added cheese) and hashbrowns. The cinnamon dusted French toast was great, came with syrup and a generous portion of butter (that was room temp! I hate getting ice cold butter at diners). The bacon was crispy, the eggs were good and the hashbrowns, while they could have crispier, the portion was huge and they were pretty good. It was an excellent amount of food for the price ($25 after 22% tip) and was served quickly. Overall I think this is a great spot for typical diner breakfast fare at great prices with good service. There are also dedicated parking spots behind the restaurant. I'll come back to try their Mexican-inspired breakfast items, Benedict's and their burgers! read more

What a nice surprise! Super friendly and reasonably-priced breakfast spot... and it's on Aurora! Starts with off-street parking and some easy on-street parking just in case. The ambiance is a little plain, but definitely clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and you can tell they care. I was greeted with a smile and seated instantly. The prices were all super reasonable. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs, hashbrowns and toast (english muffin). Eggs were perfect. Steak was what I hoped for- crispy, fork tender and flavorful. Hashbrowns were tasty too but the gravy stood out. It tasted like the bacon gravy from NorthStar Diner, but she told me that it had not only bacon but ham and sausage in it. Way above average gravy for this breakfast gravy connoisseur. The damage? A reasonable $13.40 or so. IHop or Denny's would be close to $20 for the same meal. I saw a decent line outside the front door when I drove past today (Saturday) so I'm glad this fairly new restaurant is doing well. This place deserves to succeed! read more

Love this little place! Actually, it looks little from the outside but there's plenty of seats to choose from once you go inside. I visited Sunrise 3 days ago. I had a 3 meats breakfast burrito which was very fulfilling and was comparable to ones I've ordered in Los Angeles. From the kids section, my son had the waffles and we added strawberries and whip cream for a +$3 extra cost but it was worth it. The meal also came with orange juice. The lady who took our order was very welcoming and answered our questions and even offered suggestions. Our food didn't take too long to come out which was great! There was another male worker who showed up a little later, but I noticed that he quickly jumped in to his role and began checking on customers. He was also very friendly. Overall, I recommend this establishment if you want delicious and affordable food with excellent service! read more

This is one of the best Seattle breakfast spots I've been to--and I've lived here since 1998. Delicious options including scrambles with chorizo and southern fare like chicken fried steak, along with traditional French toast and hash, eggs, etc. So many great picks, and I hope to try more of them. Don't be scared because it's off aurora--the interior vibe is very mellow and yet welcoming. It's casual but with an amazing soundtrack (70s and 80s hits) playing on big screens. Many ages and ethnicities inside, and everyone just seems happier after being inside for a few minutes. Sunshine, indeed! We live between Beth's and this place and while we like Beth's, the prices here are better and typically never too busy so no wait for a table (admittedly we don't come until late morning or around noon on Sundays). I plan to order weekday lunch here at some point (to go) and will update if necessary. Otherwise it's a very good contender to Beth's in the area if you're looking for good breakfast with more competitive prices. read more

Had this place again, this time through a food service delivery service. Everything came great and fresh. Had both chicken fried steaks which were great again. My son had the crepes which were good but he complained about not enough whip cream for 3 crepes which was true, I will just ask for more next time. Overall another great experience. Visited on Father's Day, as I was craving Eggs Benedict and was tired of my usual breakfast/brunch spots. Had never heard of this place before and people seemed to love it, so what the heck? Could not have been happier with the choice! It's a family-run restaurant and everyone seems to pitch in. The woman working the tables could not have been a nicer, more friendly person. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Even my son--aka the world's pickiest eater--loved the French Toast. My wife loved the many vegetarian options.
