    Sunrise on the beach.

A very nice place to have breakfast. Much better than the awful Breakfast Club. I had the Irish omelette: it was wonderful! Corned beef, onion, mushroom and eggs, with grits and toast. The bacon and sausage was borrowed from my amigo. Will try to go there again someday.

What an awesome spot to grab breakfast on the island! We walked in and were stunned at how this place just throws it back to a 60s or 70s diner feel. Think Waffle House but classier. Lots of 2 top tables and a bunch of bigger booths and tables! They also have a bar to sit at. They have an open kitchen where your food is cooked right in front of you. I ordered the breakfast burger with hashbrowns. It was amazing. A nice sausage patty that melts in your mouth on top of a toasted english muffin with an egg and cheese. My partner ordered the big breakfast, and it was big and tasty. The service was awesome, we were sat immediately, and the food came out lightning fast. Almost too fast, lol. I will absolutely come back to this establishment more than once in the future, and recommend you stop here during your visit!

5 stars all around! We went for breakfast, and I highly recommend it. The customer service was friendly, the food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the service was quick. The location is super convenient, and they even offer free parking--an absolute rarity in Tybee!

First time coming here and it was very pleasant. I would compare it to a nicer waffle house or something adjacent. I didn't try the buffet because we came on the wrong day, but I did get their egg hash brown skillet. My eggs were a little undercooked but honestly, I like it that way, so not a problem. The hashbrowns were very good and it came with a lot of vegetables which I enjoyed because honestly at other places like a waffle house and stuff they really don't have a good vegetable variety and this did the toast was very tasty and the service was good would come again. I love a good breakfast cute little place. The kitchen is very open, plenty of seasonings and sauces on the table as well as a lot of whipped butter and different jelly/jam options.

Buffet plate - worth the price!

The service here is amazing! The food followed suit and was also equally as great and came out very quickly after ordering. The ambiance isn't anything to write home about - but cmon - sit down, eat breakfast and be about your business. This is a must stop for breakfast on Tybee Island!

A great crew of dedicated cooks and waitstaff. I had the pleasure of watching the cooks. So fun. I had the Irish Omelette which was so delicious I want to rename it Morning Nap on a plate! Here's a couple of pics.

From the moment we walked in, things went downhill fast. The sign at the entrance said "Seat yourself," so we did--splitting between two nearby tables. Within moments, a server stormed over, speaking to us with incredible rudeness, insisting we all cram into one table. She and another waitress then started talking about us, clearly within earshot. When we asked what was going on, the server raised her voice, became aggressive, and even started cussing at us. Feeling completely disrespected, we got up to leave--only to have her follow us to the door, still yelling. The manager came out and apologized, but didn't seem willing or able to hold her accountable. It felt like the staff was running the place, not the manager. An incredibly uncomfortable and upsetting experience.

This is your place if you want to get fast and cheap breakfast. But also good. If you are looking for anything fancy it's not your place. But otherwise definitely come here for breakfast

This place was packed on a Tuesday morning in October. We had come because the hype from the Breakfast Club was not hype at all. Sunrise is just across the street and a 1/2 block walk from BC. We waited about 15min and then seated. The waiting is just given a number and written down. Our waitress took our order of drinks and then food. Food took a minute to come out, but they were busy. I got the cheeseburger omelet with hashbrowns and bacon and it was YUMMY. My husband has the steak and eggs with hashbrowns and my friend had another omelet and loved it! The coffee was very good too. They also have baskets of butter and mini jellies with bottles of syrup and jelly on the table. Our order for 3 adults and 2 kids came to $87.00 with tip. Food was good and service was okay - again they were busy, probably because everyone was coming from the breakfast club not being fully operational.

We were kindly greeted by Devin upon entering the restaurant and told we could sit wherever we liked - at the bar, around the corner in the restaurant area or even outside on the large tree-surrounded patio. Devin was really busy seemingly running the place by himself but still paid good attention to us. (We eventually saw a couple more employees.) I thoroughly enjoyed my Eggs Benedict. Husband had sausage gravy and biscuits plus a couple eggs. I'm sorry but the biscuits had an odd taste, although the sausage gravy was good and had a LOT of meat. What you find inside is a nicely appointed restaurant with a beautiful long bar which we highly recommend you eat at. Our bartender Christy was amazing. But more about her later, right now I will talk about the food. We started with the margarita scallops, which was chunks of seared scallops soaked in margarita on toasted wonton chips with a black bean corn, salsa and drizzle with a local aioli, YUM! We also had their fried green tomatoes, which came with apricot horseradish sauce and aoli. Kiki had the catch of the day, which was a grilled piece of grouper atop mediterranean couscous and a medley of mediterranean vegetables. I had the prime rib, which came with lobster Chili Churri butter and a brandy peppercorn sauce. Both entrees were amazing. Now back to our bartender Christie. To say that she wears many hats is an understatement. She greeted us when we sat at the bar, by the way, did I mention that you can reserve seats at the bar? She described the menu items in a way that you only expect to find from a waiter in the finest restaurants in the world. She addressed any and all allergy issues relating to these dishes all the while she is making drinks for patrons at the bar as well as handling the service bar for all the patrons in the restaurant. Without missing a beat, she takes our order.Buses plates from other customers and continues to make drinks for everybody in the restaurant. At this point I think I told her her new nickname should be the Flash. At one point during our dinner, we saw her serve a bottle of wine to another couple at the end of the bar. Her presentation was that of a full wine sommelier with pouring a taste for approval while showing the label of the bottle as she waited for the customers approval then pouring the glasses after approval was given. Because this was their first time in Savannah, we couldn't let them leave without a visit to the beach. Although the day was a bit overcast and windy, it was still a nice afternoon and we decided to grab some local fare before heading back to Pooler. Salt Island is a small restaurant located right on the main strip as you turn into the seafront area. There is limited parking in and around the restaurant, but we were lucky because Sunday afternoon was fairly deserted. However, I would imagine that on a busy weekend you would likely need to find creative parking because a lot of the nearby parking seemed to be reserved for home and condominium owners. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with a sizable bar and plenty of room to entertain larger groups. The menu is fairly simple but packed with a couple of really interesting items that you wouldn't technically expect to find in a beachfront fish house. And while we didn't order any of the more offbeat items, I have to say, seeing Chicken Tinga on the menu was a pleasant surprise. Especially since my in-laws are Mexican. Lol, I actually ordered the whole fried snapper tacos, which was essentially a whole fish fried to perfection but then accompanied with a bounty of authentic Mexican taco fixings including fresh tortillas, Cajita cheese, and fresh salsa and guacamole. The waiter promised I would be the envy of the table, and I was! This thing was so big. I ended up taking some of it home and eating it as a late night fish taco snack. The rest of the table ordered a combination of the fresh fish served any way you like it and the shell on shrimp boil. Both options were also fantastic. They also offer a variety of beers and have a fairly full bar so there's fun to be had here for everyone. Service was also really tight with our waiter making multiple trips to the table to make sure everybody was good. This is definitely a spot I would recommend if you are hanging out at the beach.
