This was the only place in the casino that could accommodate our party of 8 on a Saturday night for dinner. Outside, cheaper food, and tons of tvs. -Pound of wings were great: bbq, buffalo, and parmesan garlic were all tasty -Chips and dip were decent but the salsa tasted like Tostitos dip while the guac was good, needed more chips though -Mahi mahi taco for $8 was a total rip off. One small stuffed taco of dry fish with chips on the side -Side salads were large for $4 -Burgers were a hit -Catch of the day was salmon and came with a side of fries, super small serving though We were given a ton of wet wipes. I love going to Sorrisi restaurant and Sunset Grill, but I have noticed the change in service, especially in the latter there is a new bartender who constantly complains about other employees when she can hardly even walk she attended me this Friday March 5 and she was rude in her way of speaking. My wife asked me to get her a drink at the bar I went to the bar trying to purchase a sprite I sat there for a good 10 minutes the bartender seen me numerous times and did not say a word to me. I turn around I asked one of the whiners to help me gets a glass of sprite and he tells me that I have to wait on my waitress. I didn't ask him if I could speak to a manager and the manager helped me but she was a little sarcastic and a little rude he told me all I had to do was just go to the cashier and get a sprite no one needs to tell me what I need to do they just need to give me service. Sunset Grill is located inside the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino. We have been here before and I was certain I had written a review. The food is very good. Standard pub fare. Excellent burgers, sandwiches and wings. Their juicy burgers are cooked perfectly on a hearty, soft roll. Side of fries comes in a huge basket. Easily enough for 2 people to share. Now for the service... it is not good and soooo slow. It has been this way each time we have eaten here. The kitchen is the main problem. They cook at a snail's pace and it takes more than 35 minutes for food to arrive. While the servers are friendly, they forget to check on you and waiting for the check is excruciating. If you want a leisurely 2 hour dinner you'll like Sunset Grill. If not, go elsewhere. read more

I understand it was 4th of July weekend and they were kind of busy, but the service we got (or lack there of) was unacceptable. I am very patient and can tolerate just about anything. Me and my roommate both were about to lose our minds sitting at this place. We should have noticed the big red flag when it took 25 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order. We didn't expect much from this place because most people that eat here are paying with comp dollars and leave bad tips, However we were pleasantly surprised. The bartender was friendly and attentive and even though it's just bar food it was quite good. I got a grilled Hot dog for $5 and my wife got the turkey club for $12. Ordered over $125 of food (no drinks) for 3 people. Waited 45 min for our food and when we sat down to eat our food we were told by the the rudest power trip manager I have ever experienced we are not allowed to eat in the restaurant he has a cleanup crew coming in and we have to eat our food somewhere in the casino. We said we are starving and just want to eat real quick please, there was no clean up crew in sight. He said if you take another bit of your food I an going to call security as he grabbed a walkie talkie. In my 60 years on this Earth I have never experienced such a atrocious behavior, we ended up eating sitting on the floor in the casino area. The service was very slow, but our waitress Maria did her best. It's worth a visit for drinks and appetizers/sandwiches. However, the manager seems to be an unprofessional ambassador. The issue: Our experience was ruined when the "manager" Jacob, interrupted mid-convo w/ my mom to tell me that it wasn't right that my party didn't leave a tip -all while he was seating other patrons. Tips were on the credit card slips that were collected btw, but how can a manager be so unprofessional? He was disgusting and has no business being a manager. What a great find! My girlfriend and I came in for lunch the other day and were pleasantly surprised. I had the beach house shredder salad and my girlfriend had the angry shrimp. Both were absolutely delicious. Chef John came out of the kitchen and introduced himself and was very friendly. I live down the street and frequent the casino quite often. This is a great little spot that my wife and I stumbled onto! The burger was amazing and the craft beer selection was very good! I'm a beer drinker so I was in heaven. The chef came out and introduced himself and was very pleasant. My wife had a salad which she said was absolutely delicious.
