Traveling with friends and someone recommended stopping at Red's Eats for a late lunch on the way…read moreto Bar Harbor, ME. Fantastic decision! Be aware, even though we were there on a Thursday and well past the normal lunch hour, the parking was still tough to find and the line was very long. In the end, it took more than an hour to get to the window to order. Once we ordered we sat on one of their deck areas and the food was delivered to us within 10 minutes. That being said it was absolutely worth the experience and wait. We got to chat with one of the owners. Very nice conversation. The lobster rolls and the plated lobster were generous in portions and tasted fantastic! The homemade tartar and cocktail sauces are great. The atmosphere added a lot to the fun as the line to order stayed constant. Definitely worth the visit.

I'm glad this tourist trap exists, because otherwise the actually good lobster roll places in Maine…read morewould be busier than they already are. I've never had worse seafood anywhere. Lobster was overpriced and had a texture like it had been frozen for months. It was way too cold and a bit icy, like they didn't even bother to thaw it before selling it. Carelessly piled on top of a piece of bread for no other reason other than to claim they "pile it high." Like, it's supposed to be a sandwich, not a pile of lobster on bread. The entire thing was tasteless while still managing to taste a bit off. Cash only. Great way to need to use an ATM on your trip because you'll run through it all here for nothing in exchange but a wasted two hours in line. We have been here twice, once as part of a Yelp Elite event. We enjoyed it the first time, we…read morewanted to take our family here for our second visit. You have to watch carefully or map to the location, as the passing road is fast and you can drive by it without even realizing it. It's a small building with a decent sized parking lot - maybe can fit 10 or so cars. There is a picnic area to the side of the trailer, that has several picnic tables and a couple of little ones/lower to the ground. Very cute. Some tables with umbrellas for cover from the sun and in our case that day...brief relief from the rain, until it became sideways torrential rain. Plenty of garbage and recycling containers that are easy to locate and helps keep the place neat and free from debris flying around. It's not an extensive menu, however, the items we have ordered are fresh and flavorful. Item that stood out to us, the blueberry coleslaw. It's very very refreshing. They take electronic/card payments - it looks like it's a cash only type of place, but it's not. We had ordered our food for "here" and then the rain came. We sat at the tables as long as we could until the rain was coming down in sheets. We were soaked, so we ran to our cars...the staff saw what was happening, changed our order as "to go" and the gentleman ran the bagged orders to our cars with napkins and every thing we needed to enjoy our food. Great service! My fish basked was delicious. Love the fries that come with it as well. Plenty of fish, so much so, I had to give some to my husband to finish off. I love the finishing touches...may not seem like much to some, however, they take the time to put a tiny flower on each dinner. My niece and nephew loved it!! The bathrooms are in a separate building and are really nice. I thought they might be a potty, but they are fully plumbed, running water and electricity. I definitely will stop again, if it times right with our trips to the gardens and they are open. Great staff, easy location and great food.

The basket came with a side seaweed salad that was a refreshingly pleasant change of pace from most fish n chips places. The clam chowder was thick and rich. It was jam packed with meat and potatoes. Definitely come with an empty stomach because they have great portion sizes and the food is fantastic. Service: The service here is great! Everyone is friendly and happy to answer questions. They keep busy running food to customers and keeping the picnic area tidy. Ambience: The picnic area is super clean and well maintained. They have a wheelchair assessable picnic table, and a well stocked condiment table. The view is beautiful. This is a lovely place to get lunch and enjoy the weather.

It's a small food truck located on the hill near the parking lot at the park. Parkings are available at the park itself. They offer few options for lobster rolls as well as other sandwiches like pulled pork and drinks as well as whoopie pie. We got 6oz maine style and wasabi mayo lobster rolls and blueberry soda and a whoopie pie. Lobster rolls were overflowing with lobster meat and paired with nicely buttered and toasted buns. They were both delicious but i actually liked the wasabi mayo version better personally.Blueberry soda was refreshing which is a brand i've had before from Maine that i like. Whoopie pie was pretty good even though i've never been that into them whenever i had them which is few. Service good and very quick. Our order came out within like 3 minutes. Overall the place was pretty good especially for touristic area like the Fort Williams park. It's be one of better lobster rolls we had in Maine. Price was pretty average for lobster rolls. Great place to stop by if you are in the portland head light/Fort Williams Park.
