Browsing through Yelp, I came upon Best Gates and Fencing and saw that they averaged 4.8 Yelp reviews. I read many of the reviews and perused the photos of the different fence projects they had done, and I was impressed with their work. I contacted the company and got a quick response from Miguel, the owner, to set up an appointment for an estimate. After meeting with Miguel, I gave him an idea of what I had in mind, and he took accurate measurements of my property. Miguel gave me estimates on the use of different materials: wood, aluminum, galvanized steel and vinyl. After giving Miguel a budget I could work with, he presented me the options of using natural premium redwood (stained and sealed) with powder coated galvanized steel posts. Miguel was very easy to work with, and I like how he offered his input to further enhance my vision of what I wanted. Miguel is very efficient, along with his coworker, and he takes great pride in providing a quality product. He always kept me in the loop regarding each work phase, and was quick to address any of my questions. Best Gates and Fencing does not rush their jobs. For my project, they work in phases, and it was great to see my fence project come to life, so to speak. In the end, I was extremely in awe of the transformation Best Gates and Fencing provided. I have received numerous compliments on the fence, and I feel like I have the best fence in the neighborhood. If you have a fence project or repair in mind, do not deviate away from Best Gates and Fencing. In my opinion, they are THE BEST!

It did specify to leave a name and number and that he would call as soon as we could. I spoke to Larry about half hour later and told him what I was looking for. He was very professional in explaining what I might be wanting and might need for the New fence. I was very satisfied with the information he provided me, but at the time my mom had already committed with someone else to do the job. Unfortunately, the other person that did the job did a horrible job with the fence. I wish I would've stayed and convinced my mom to have Larry do the job. I would recommend Larry to do your job. 1. Johnny was very flexible because my needs changed between approving the quote and the scheduled install. Cruz and Enrique performed the install. I received a text about 45 minutes before they arrived. They walked the project with me and kept me in the loop when a few minor things popped up, so we could decide how to move forward in a way that worked for me. They were very communicative, professional and kept the job very clean. Overall VPF did a great job and we'd definitely recommend!

This was probably the cause of the front gate being hung from the wrong gate post. A stanchion, to help support a gate post was poorly fitted with coach bolts breaking the stucco surface, and, for the gates themselves, the length of the deadbolts required their faceplates to be shimmed. Once completed this company asked for four minor changes before payment. I honored all requests in a timely manner they then said once the site is live we will pay you. The site went live, they even received a lead and then promptly took down the site said they never contacted me and then removed me from the project that we were a part of. They also said they loved the site but they obviously don't love to pay. I only pray that Ortiz Fencing find it in their conscience to be good honorable people instead of community grifters. They are trying to ghost me after the husband agreed to pay. God knows all and you can't avoid his all seeing eyes.I also have physical proof of everything. Please pay what you owe.

Cano Ironworks was subcontracted on a concrete and masonry job, but they deserve their own review…read more The project was the installation of a 3.5 foot iron gate. It was not an easy installation, since the masonry wall surface it would attach to was not quite vertical. The supporting iron had to be channeled into the masonry to provide a proper vertical installation. Cano was up to this task, and the installed gate is vertical, swings freely, and latches securely. The amount of care taken for this installation is very .appreciated. The final product is beautiful and functional. As a side note, Oscar fixed a malfunctioning gate on the other side of my house without being asked. You need a gate? Metalwork of any kind? I recommend Cano.
