One star is too much. If you reserve anything get a contract in writing. Last weekend my daughter had her senior prom, big event, big expectations for a perfect night. She(we)had reserved a bus for the right amount of people and a nice limo showed up but not nearly the space that was reserved or booked. Nothing was fixed, just stack people on laps to fit. If you have another option with another company book it! Since the event all they have done is claim that it's somehow our issue. What a bummer. read more

NO, NO, NO! They promised there would be Ice, your choice of a bottle of wine, champagne or a case of beer, cups, etc..with our $900/ 7 hour purchase. Our Limo "Pinky" had none of this! There was one Sprite, 2 7ups, 3 cokes and about 12 bottled waters in luke warm water, but that was it!?!? We had to go back inside and grab our own cups and a bag of ice. This is in addition to the back of the limo only blowing hot air to where one of the girls burned her hand trying to close/adjust the gasper. After about an hour of us complaining about it, our driver informed us that we could turn that set of vents off from the controls right in front of us. Why did he wait so long to tell us? Our driver simply seemed inexperienced as he took "daps/knuckles" from passer by's as we all got in and out of the limo from which I was opening the door half the time. In my opinion, my driver needs to also be slight crowd control for a high end limo. This is where it gets really BAD! The purchaser of the limo rental (my friend) called today to discuss these issues as a dissatisfied customer providing feedback, when Kevin, apparently the only manager within the company, was extremely defensive, aggressive and escalated the conversation by bringing up irrelevant points like Jewish people don't drink, therefore why would there be booze in the limo??? Ummm, because it was supposed to come with the rental package and it's a bachelorette party!!!! Kevin was unwilling/not capable of continuing the conversation professionally and hung up on my friend after saying he F***ed her mom. Crazy how they/Kevin treat their upset customers. I then proceeded to call, willing to have a civilized conversation with this gentleman and all he could do was call my friend a Satanic B**** before I could even say two words. He went to put me on hold as he stated "Let me get my MORE VALUABLE customers out the office and then I might speak to you". I hung up as he clearly is not worth speaking to regarding this matter. Our hopes of a return call from the owner Rich tomorrow will hopefully reset the expectation. My friend has now cancelled her reservations for the limo's on her wedding day in the coming weeks due to Kevin's behavior on behalf of the company. Party bus broke down. 5 hour delay to our resort destination in Colorado. The operations manager, Kevin Harrold, refused to make it right. I referred Sunset to its own refund policy, but the company could care less. I ultimately challenged the charges through my credit card company. It took weeks and lots of paper, but I WON that battle. Absolutely terrible company with terrible customer service. This all went down in March of 2014, and I'm still mad. read more

Literally the worst experience I've ever had. Driver was doing drugs on the way to our destination and tried to fine us an extra 3,000 for a little bit of trash on the bus. We had a confirmation of 11 am pickup time two days later and the buses failed to show completely. After endless phone calls with no answer, we finally got a hold of them to send buses. I cannot say how dissapointed I am with Sunset Limos. We booked a limo to take me and the bridesmaids to the venue, and were planning on having our photographer with us for some fun photos. The limo arrived early and everything seemed great, until we got in and it was clear there was a problem. The battery of the limo died, and the driver had no idea what to do. My bridal party had to jump in and try to figure out how to jump a limo, and the driver had no clue how to do it. The driver did not problem solve well at all, and didn't even think to call another limo. As a timeline for wedding day is increadibly important, and we tried for a little over 30 minutes to get the limo going, we ultimately had to leave and my bridesmaids had to drive us up. The delays caused by this caused delays for our whole day, and caused us to have to pay another vendor more because they had to be onsite longer than expected. What made me even more upset was that after this incident, NO ONE contacted us to apologize or offer a refund and other compensation. I called two days after to submit my complaint, and they said they would call us back. We did not receive a call or email or any other apology, but did receive a refund. I am just so disappointed in the lack of service, or apology for causing stress and delays on our wedding day. If I could give this company negative stars I would. Our friend booked this company to pick us up in Greeley and the driver arrived late. On top of that she was lost for a whole other hour as well (even using her gps) when we got out of the club she said we had gone an hour over and we needed to pay extra to get us home. We explained how we felt she owed us an hour considering her getting lost and arriving late. She stated we should have brought that up early and refused to move the bus without extra pay. We offered to pay it just to get us home and she refused the money and refused to take us home. She ended up leaving 30 people stranded an hour away from home. We were sitting in the bus and she called the cops they told us we had to get out and take this up as a civil matter. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional business. We asked for her managers number and they couldn't be reached, however some how she had spoke with her manager about allowing her to refuse business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could leave 0 stars I would. A limo was supposed to be here at 5:30 am to take us to the airport for our family vacation to Disneyworld. No car ever showed up. Therefore we missed our flight. We were taking our 10 year old for the first time to Disney and she was devastated. Due to there negligence we missed an entire day of Disneyworld. They did not offer any sort of compensation for there negligence other than our money back for a car that did not show up. The employees here did not even know what time they opened. They have no after hour call service for passengers leaving before business hours or they would have known we were not picked up. We were told a manager would be in at 7am that day and would give us a call. 8 am came and no call. I called back and now the manager won't be in till 9. After speaking to 2 different managers, we were told the owner would call and talk to us. This also never happened. The manager said he was to relay the message to us from the owner that this is all they could do. What a joke of a company! Everyone we spoke to was defensive instead of trying to make it right. All we wanted was for management to take responsibility but they would rather point the finger and not take action. I URGE ANYONE BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY TO LOOK ELSEWHERE AS THEY ARE NOT LOOKING AFTER THE INTEREST OF THERE CUSTOMERS. THEY DID NOT CARE AT ALL THAT THEY WERE A NO SHOW. This company is TERRIBLE. I will never use their service again. When I made the reservation I was clear I needed the driver to be punctual (5:00 p.m. pick up) because there was a tight schedule to an extremely important meeting I was hosting. I was also very clear that I wanted a black Cadillac sedan. I called again the day before the meeting to confirm the reservation that I fully paid for and again reminded them of the importance of the pick up time and that it was black Cadillac sedan - newer model. They said it was a 2017. The lady, Judy, said she could also give me the cell phone number of the driver so that I could be in touch with him the day of the meeting. On that day, I called the driver to confirm he was on his way and he said that another driver was actually assigned to the pick up. At 5:20 p.m. that assigned driver was not there. At 5:25 p.m. a WHITE STRETCH OLD MODEL LIMOSINE made the pick up. It had a tacky disco interior. I called immediately to complain and Judy profusely apologized and said the general manager would call me on Monday. I did not receive a call on Monday so I called in the afternoon near 5:00 and was told the manager was not there but they would give him the message to call me. I tried a few other times with the same result and then he finally called me on October 3rd but I unfortunately missed his call. I called him the next morning and then again he was unavailable until today. He said he had been on vacation (while no one said he was on vacation to me the numerous times I called nor did he say that in the message he had left me) I explained to him everything that happened and I fully admit my tone wasn't the most pleasant. But then he started cutting me off, insulting me and saying how unpleasant I am and said I used the vehicle so it didn't matter it was late or the wrong type and refused to credit me any money. After the initial contact from the owner never heard back from him again. We ended up not needing the shuttle and asked if our $130 deposit could go to the hummer. No. So now I have a "credit" for future use....My daughter has prom in the spring so I guess that's where it will go. Had a female driver who requested her %20 tip up front saying it was "company requested to get it up front" wow. Too bad she was more worried about money than her customers. We had a $300 tip set aside for her but because she was so tacky she got $160 since that was the "requested" minimum. She was late at each stop to come back around and get us (there were only three) and we got a looooooong lecture about glasses and hands out the window like children. The limo was beautiful. Fully stocked as promised very clean. The sound sytem has a short so when you try to hook up your iphone for music its in and out so radio it was. In the futureI will give more weight to yelp reviews. Had I listened to the poor reviews on here I would have got more value and better customer service for my money. read more

My daughters 16th birthday party was ruined because Sunset Limo's car that was "new" broke down on the way home! All it needed was coolant, which could have been avoided if the car was checked before it was sent on a "run" as they call it. We were supposed to be home at 9:30 and got home at 11:45!! We were promised a mechanic be there in 20 minutes because he was already in Highlands Ranch, or another limo would come and pick us up. Neither happened. It took 70 minutes for the mechanic to even get there. By the way, the driver parked us behind a strip mall alley. Not in a well lit parking lot! I had seven 16 year old girls with me! After 2 hours of waiting for car to take us home, driver finally was going to drive us home, but continued to drive us around the mall "to make sure car would be ok." We told her have the mechanic follow her to drop us at home, we could not wait anymore. My husband asked to speak with drivers manager and she had us speak to Shaun who informed us we will not get a refund, nor a partial refund, nor a discounted service, and he hung up on us! We got half an apology, and even more excuses as to why we didn't get a refund. According to manager or owner Darren: No refund because of how we treated mechanic and driver! We asked for a refund before my husband even spoke to the mechanic, and this company said NO! When we were nice Sunset said no, so when we got upset and we demanded a receipt showing we paid cash! We are told we acted out of line so we can't be issued a refund. I was also told its because we told the limo driver she won't be getting a tip that they will not issue refund. Tips are EARNED and NOT guaranteed! We told the driver several times it wasn't her fault about the car, and she did the best she could. But she had our cash in her pocket and wouldn't return it! The experience was ridiculous, as was the service. Too bad I didn't put this on my credit card. Buyers beware!! I'd like to add that I have read other reviews of this company, and I have read the replies from Sunset Limo, and Sunset Limo has a history of being rude and condescending. I rented a limo for a ride to and from dinner for my wife's 30th birthday. I'll just say our overall experience was wonderful! Everything from the booking process until we were dropped off at home was great! Booking was easy, the limo was on time, the driver was great, limo was very impressive and the ride was a lot of fun. The new Chrysler 300C limo we had was awesome!! It would take to long to list every detail we enjoyed so I'll just say again that we enjoyed everything about our experience with Sunset Limo and wouldn't hesitate to use them again! These guys used to be great, but something has gone horribly wrong within the Sunset Limo Organization. I was a loyal customer for more than seven years and even tried to overlook some of the company's recent shortcomings that seem to fit a pattern in the reviews you'll find here. Last year, we fell victim to a double booking bait-and-switch scam when we attempted to secure their largest party bus for some concerts over the Labor Day Weekend. I was assured this wasn't the case by management and that it was a maintenance issue, but when other friends of ours in the Front Range claimed to be taking the same party bus to get to the same event with a different group, something didn't smell right. Throughout it all, I was assured by the management of the company that a double booking had not occurred, but the story just didn't add up, yet it was too late to do anything about the reservation other than to deal with the company for the weekend. Same size limos and party buses were arranged, but instead of one ride in most cases, we had two. We were a group that wanted to be together and that was what we booked, but they only delivered on providing the bus we contracted for three of six trips. The icing on the cake occurred when we came out on Sunday evening to find that no limo was arranged for us for at least an hour following the concert. An excuse regarding a jammed door was used and again, at this point, we were at the mercy of Sunset Limo to get home, so had to more or less grin and bare it. When two separate vehicles finally arrived to get everyone home, our party was quite upset and the critique fell back on me as an organizer. I never like to look bad in front of my peers, and Sunset Limo made me look real bad. After the debacle of last year, I was in contact with management to inform them of what went wrong and there was an admission by management that they had gotten in a bit over their head. I was offered the opportunity to have a credit toward future limo use in an effort to show me the true "Sunset way" once again rather than some sort of refund for the errors of the weekend. As a loyal customer of seven years between myself and several other friends who had booked at least 20, maybe 30 party buses and limos with Sunset Limousines, I conferred with my other friends who have been part of the booking process with the company in the past, and decided to take the credit / give the company one last chance. We haven't had the need for Sunset's services over the past year with the exception of this coming Labor Day once again. I emailed my contact at Sunset asking for quotations and was provided costs. Approximately 2 weeks ago, I let Sunset Limousine know we were ready to go, provided them a credit card authorization to get the process started with the deposit, and waited for confirmation. And then waited some more....and some more. Finally, after not hearing from anyone for 5 days, I emailed and was emailed back that I would be sent confirmations shortly. I thought nothing of this and waited patiently for the confirmations. I emailed again on August 1 to inquire about the status. Radio silence. So, I called the office on August 2nd to ask the status and was told no reservations were in the system, to resend my request, and they would see what they could do as it appeared everything was quite full. The lack of communication and lack of loyalty to customers who have backed them for so many years are the most disturbing pieces of this puzzle I refer to as Sunset Limousine. It's not right and I'm not sure why no one cares around their company to clean up their reputation? Their actions have made me an outspoken critic of who not to use when you want a Limo or Party Bus. I'm done with them and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. read more

Last weekend my prom group used Sunset Limo. We had an awesome experience. Dave Hogan was our driver and was outstanding! Dave was on time, took my cell number to text him when the group was ready to leave and had the limo waiting for us! The limo was superb! The stereo system was unbelievably great! Then lied about leaving us '10 voice mails' when then canceled our 44 person bus. So after we called them out in a lie they promised us 1 bus and 1 limo for the same price with 2 times the alcohol on each bus. When they showed up there was a single 20 person limo that we all had to squeeze into with 1, yes 1, 12 pack of beer. They said the bus had been rented to someone else. After using a few different companies when I first moved here, I've found that in terms of service, cleanliness, reliability, etc., there really isn't anyone better in Denver. Esra is always a pleasure to work with when booking and with the exception of one time, we've had great luck with our drivers. The one time it wasn't so great, the folks at Sunset did everything they could to make it right. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with costumer service. I booked a limo from these guys for my wedding, which was a HUGE mistake. On the 95 degree day of my wedding, they came to pick my wedding party up in a limo with broken air conditioning. Men in Tuxes, girls sweating in their dresses, it was insane. The rear view mirror thermostat actually read 117 degrees half way through the trip. We ended up asking them to drop us of an hour and a half earlier than we had paid for. All of our bouquets were dead, boutonnieres were dead, wedding party miserable, picture were sweaty and ruined. They told us today we will be receiving no refund for the horrible service, and this was only after spending a week trying to get a hold of a competent person that works there. Both times they had hidden charges, lied about benefits, RAN OUT OF BOOZE, illegally parked and illegally allowed over 30 people in a 20 person limo because they double booked the 40 person bus we originally reserved for us, made false promises to make it up and then NEVER delivered!! if you want a horrible experience, then use sunset luxury limousine. the service is so bad, the owner gave me the thrid degree when i called to complain. i got so mad i hung up and i have not done that for years. basically, our driver brought his girlfriend along on a trip from lone tree to blawkhawk. this was our holiday outing for our employees and their spouses. rather than take i-70 to idaho springs, the driver said he had to go hwy 6. the drive was terrible and three people got motion sickness. on the way back home, the driver went 45 minutes out of the way to the sunset limo office to run my credit card. we eventually got back to lone tree one hour after the expected time. my employees were not happy. the driver accused my manager of being on drugs when he asked a question. i think the person on drugs was the sunset driver. would your company condone having your driver bring his girlfriend? my wife was so sick from the motion of the drive up that we had to stay all night, unplanned, in blackhawk. the company not only is very very unprofessional, they don't handle their problems and they don't care about customers. this is the worst i have been treated by any company in 20 years. do not use sunset limousine if you value your money, your family and friends, and your sanity. tt read more

This is the single worst business I have ever dealt with. We hired them to take a group to a concert and return. The driver called 5 minutes after he was supposed be there and noted his phone was dying and he didn't have a GPS. He finally arrived and asked if I had a phone charger for his phone (bad start). Anyway we got him a phone charger so he would have his phone and GPS. After the concert get's out we come out to the parking lot and he has locked the keys in the limo!! I showed him the door had keycode and he noted that he forgot to get the keycode for the door. He said no one would answer the after hours phone at the limo company so we stood out in the rain and mud for 1-1/2 as he said he had called Tripple A, but who knows. We finally flagged a cab down and spent $220.00 in cab fare to get home. All of our stuff is still in the limo and my guess is I will never see it again. So we lost a phone charger, pair of Oakleys some bags and coats. I've called the company and they hung up on me, and the driver wont return texts requesting return of our things. They also and said they won't refund the money because they "got us to the concert". I would prefer walking to dealing with these idiots, I have no idea why anyone would rent a car from these guys. Just got married last week and had the 2017 Pearl White Escalade for our whole bridal party, myself and my husband. We had a great time in the limo and was a great company. The driver did have a difficult time reversing out of our venue (The Pines at Genesee), which took quit a long time but other then that is was a great night and ended great with a limo company. The driver was 1 hour late, when I tried calling to see what was up the guy on the phone was a %^&*^$ I could not believe what a 180 they did at first were cool then switched on me. The party bus arrives and its a old excursion limo and it was filthy inside like someone just got done partying in it, none of the beverages promised were provided and the driver had no idea what type of event it was. Dec 17, I booked a 10 pass for a night out and asked the reservation lady if the limo would hold 10 average sized adults in the car. Stating there would be enough room, the limo was booked. When the limo arrived, we could not fit all 10 in the car. So one had to follow the limo around town during out 6 hour night out. We had issues with the radio and a subwoofer that pounded on our backs as well. But not being able to keep our group together was the worst. It took almost a month to get in touch with the owner Darren. Numerous phone calls were not returned. Finally after getting in touch with him on Jan 18, he e-mailed me that he would send a gift certificate that day to make up for the problems. On Jan 26 I e-mailed him stating I did not receive anything from him. He did not respond. No response from anyone. On Feb 6, e-mail stating the same. He did not respond and no response from anyone. Feb 15, e-mailed him again. Still No Response. I am blown away that an owner of a company would treat a repeat customer like this. Says a lot about the priorities of this business. He has had more than enough time to make things right and he chose to blow it off. There are many limo companies in Denver. Find another! read more

I rented a Limo Party bus for a group of 20 students for 5 hours! What a great time the kids had! Jessie the Chauffeur was absolutely wonderful with the kids! He picked them up in Castle Rock and drove them downtown to Rock Bottom Brewery for dinner. Coordinated with my daughter when they were finished and picked them up. He drove them around thru Larimer square and LODO. Delivered them to the dance on time. It was a perfect evening. The huge bonus was that none of the parents had to worry about their kids driving. They have a auxport so my daughter was able to put together a play list! We will definitely do this for the remainder of HS. It was easy to collect $$ from he kids as they all wanted to be part of the Limo party bus! Highly recommend Sunset Limos! Had just about the worst experience with Sunset Limos that a bride can imagine. There were multiple events that have driven me to write this review and warn future brides: 1) They were 1 hour LATE to pick up our guests from the hotel. Therefore, our wedding started over an hour LATE. It was a complete disaster and I was incredibly upset about it since we had a set time we were allowed to be at the venue. 2) The driver took a wrong turn to get to the venue, further delaying the start of our wedding. This means that the driver was not prepared with how to get to the venue. 3) All of the guests that were picked up on the shuttle stated that the bus smelled heavily of marijuana. This is concerning for many, many, many reasons. 4) The company had great customer service in the beginning so we had high hopes. However, after the wedding we called them to tell them everything that happened and hoped for compensation. However, they just briefly apologized and never returned a phone call again. They don't return phone calls, they did not provide the service that was contracted and confirmed, the technology on the bus did not work, their driver did not check planned construction routes - resulting in double the trip time and they have ZERO customer service in addressing issues. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They are scammers and the drivers are rude and terrible. I used their service to go to a concert with our friends and the driver smoked weed inside the limo while we were in the concert, he lied about how much we paid him in cash up front, the limo features were broken so we had to listen to radio the entire way there and we were told by the driver that we have to "hook him up" if we wanted to be picked up by the late time I requested. He stole our money and drove under the influence. The company's customer service was awful when I complained about these things. Overall, never use this company. Mason, our driver, was awesome. He was really nice and when our party was running late, he waited until we were ready to go. He gave my aunt a bottle of wine as a birthday present which I thought was awesome and he took us to all of our destinations, going to and from the club. To be honest I don't remember if we got back home around our scheduled time, but if we went over, he didn't complain. Also, pinky the limo is AWESOME!!! It's totally worth it!! Never go with this company . I have long rented with sunset but for the last year they have gone down hill. This summer I was put in a broken taped up limo with no a/c!!! They company promised to send a credit and never did. The driver sided with us when we spoke to the boss and was almost fired by Darren. A good friend recently rented a bus from them, it broke down on 16th street with no replacement available. Again no comps were made !! Horrible service !! read more

This was a great adventure for our out of town guests. The movie was not my favorite but Red Rocks is beautiful and our driver was aswesome.
