The last Time that I visited Sunset Pizza and pasta, it was a delightful experience. We had some wonderful calamari, and my pasta was good tonight. However, we decided to do a takeout and my pizza, that I was really looking forward to, it's burned on the bottom. Naturally, that does not do well for the taste. I ordered a submarine sandwich, thinking it would be a high quality, I was severely disappointed. The bread is like store-bought roll bread nothing delicious, it was soft, and then it had a balsamic glaze on the inside of the bread, and that's about it. Randomly came in for a small bite and a cold drink, but found myself eating the best pizza I've had since my recent trip to Italy. I ordered a sangria, which was refreshing on a 100 degree day and exactly what I needed with my Greek pizza. The entire menu appeared reasonably priced, and the service was prompt and friendly. Zoey, our waitress was awesome . She was very attentive , made recommendations and made the dining experience first class . We were also greeted by the chefs who prepared an excellent dinner. We had a table inside along the front of the restaurant . Loved the stained glass windows. We ordered the Greek pizza, Chicken Al Limone, and Greek salad. It all tasted wonderful . Good local place near the beach. Workers are super sweet and attentive to your needs. Food is delicious and authentic. Place is pretty small but it wasn't busy at the time we came. Parking can be a bit difficult since it is by the beach. read more

Went by here after Mother's next door closed up shop for the night. It was there, and open, so I went on in. The server was very friendly, and promptly brought me out water. My food was delicious, and I was honestly disappointed I had never been in before. The server brought me another prompt refill of my water which I promptly knocked over, and of course made a mess. Luckily not on my food though. I apologized and offered to help clean up the mess (luckily just water, but still) she insisted I sit down and not worry because it was her job to clean it up. She was still very friendly and grabbed me another glass of water. Her attitude never changed from her perky friendly demeanor, even after my woopsie. Visited Sunset Pizza & Pasta to feed my hangry sons before spending the day on the beach. When I inquired about some personal pizzas, the employee working there kindly advised that it would be much better for us to get a large pizza, citing that it would be a better price. I loooove when employees give these type of tips out. The pizza was ready in 20 minutes and it was hot, delicious and perfect for the family to enjoy. Always my favorite spot for delicious Italian food! All the workers are super sweet and helpful. It's a small place filled with love. I recommend nearly all of the food but I tend to order pizza often, or the cheese ravioli. My family loves the spaghetti and meatballs, and the beef lasagna. A must visit spot! What a delicious treat! After a long day at the beach we were starving and didn't want to go home and cook. They made me a super delicious gluten free pasta. The sauce was really fresh and tasted homemade. My fiancé that wasn't cursed with a gluten allergy even couldn't tell the difference between their gluten free pasta and regular pasta. I ALMOST called to ask if they made sure it was gluten free but the box was clearly labeled and I didn't feel like I was going to die from a stomach ache 20 minutes after eating it so I knew I was in the clear. My kids got a cheese pizza and the crust looked so fluffy. They said it was some of the best pizza they've ever had. We did take out so as not to bother other patrons with our beach bum look that was bordering homeless attire and covered in sand. But upon walking in, I'll definitely go back for a sit down meal. This was my wife and and my first time here, my sister and her husband have been coming here for years, we finally got the opportunity to try it out. My wife got the Antipasta salad which was delicious and very filling. Pizza was hot and fresh out the oven and the free bread basket came in clutch while we waited for our food. This amazing hole in the wall is one heck of a find. Inside this small restaurant holds the best service and the most amazing food you'll ever have. Last night, I had the linguine with pesto, added shrimp. My husband had the tortellini with sausage. My husband said the sausage was really good. We have had lots of good Italian food, but this was the absolute best. I can't say it enough. We went back to grab some pizzas to go today. They did not disappoint. I loved the pesto so much they made me a "build your own" pesto pizza we also had a regular pizza with sausage, pineapples and ham (don't come at me cause of the pineapples, it's good lol). I love this place, well I've never eaten inside here, but I do order food here a lot to go. The thin crust pizza is always amazing no matter what toppings you get on it. The chicken parmesan is really good as well. Now this restaurant is pretty small and there's only a handful of tables so don't be surprised if you have to wait. Our family has barely just sat down and we're all having such a great time because this place is so cozy, the waitress is a dream (she's so positive and attentive), and the food here looks incredible. Secret spot for home style Italian food including great pizza. I believe there are only seven tables and four bar seats. Relaxed and casual environment. Recommend first visit sitting at the bar to get a front row seat of the kitchen. Hector and his team are hard working and put care in to every dish. Salads are delicious as well as their bread. Lasagne and fettuccine Alfredo are our favorites. They have a plate with two pastas and lasagne if you can't decide. Limited wine list but something for everyone.
