I've been here once before but just for a quick beer. Decided to try another new-to-us restaurant yesterday as we are trying to branch out and go different places. The food was really good. The wings were fantastic!! My husband and I love wings but have been let down quite a bit lately whenever we get them. After eating these here he said that his love for wings has been restored. Seriously, they were so dang delicious!! They are a must if you eat here. We sat along the window. A nice breeze flowed in as we people watched while enjoying our lunch. We will be back!

WING APPROVED!!! You have to try the wings extra crispy and the fries. Crystal was very attentive as a server.

This was the old Seaside 2 lbs serving.

Best place in SoCal for wings and an ice cold schooner. Classic local beach bar. Absolute must if you like wings.

Seaside Grill is still the best when it comes to their hot wings! Mild & hot are thee best.

Good good & good service! It's always a treat when we visit Seal Beach. This business is still here and their hot wings are the best!

Not that far from the beach is this little place packed with fun and laughs and good times called Seal Beach Grill. It is small but packs people in the best it can. If there is a big game being played on the tvs, you might have a difficult time trying to find seating, because it gets packed quick. I waited outside on bench for a few minutes until a group left. a nice guy who was sitting at a small table against the wall said we could share the table with him. The waitress came by and took our drink order. Grabbed a couple goblets of Modelo and it was very cold topped with a lime. We ordered a pastrami to split. they have an option of roll or rye bread. Decided to go with the roll. Didn't take long for the food to come out. Added some mustard and a pickle that was on the side and chowed down and watched the Portugal vs France soccer game. The fries were amazing. You know when you can't stop eating your fries and have that hand to mouth action going on--like that! Not five stars because its just bar food. If they had served seafood, like fish n chips, or halibut sandwiches, salmon or calimari, that would be cool. Also, there is just one waitress there, so it might take a minute to get your food ordered, but she does a great job. The food we got was good, not great, but really good and satisfying and fun to eat and watch the game close to the beach with a great crowd of people. They give military discounts.

Good place for drinks. They have a small part of the restaurant where you can sit outside between windows and partake in beers and food. Happy to have had a crisp cold PBR there. Can't wait to come back and try the grub

I ordered a turkey sandwich with cheese on sourdough bread with a side of fries, and my friend ordered the buffalo wings. When the sandwich came out, we both looked at it like, "Are they seriously serving this?" The sandwich was cold -- which was not mentioned on the menu -- and looked like something you'd pack in an elementary school lunchbox. At a bar, you'd at least expect the bread to be toasted, especially since it tasted old. The fries were overcooked, greasy, and room temperature. It seemed like they had been sitting out for a while before being served. I still ate about half because I was starving and didn't want to be "that person." The buffalo wings weren't much better. My friend said the sauce tasted good, but the wings themselves were hard and overcooked. Overall, I'd recommend eating before you go. The drinks, atmosphere, and service are solid -- just don't go expecting good food.

I have been meaning to write Hangout a review for some time. We just went again and this time I…read morereviewed in the same week I was there. Hangout is just great. We have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can eat in or outside. They have a full bar and sometimes it gets a tad loud on weekend nights, but it is fine. We just eat inside. The place is clean, comfortable and super cute. It is right in Seal Beach and be patient trying to find parking. The service is great with the sole exception of the hostess. She is fine, but she needs to pay a little more attention. The rest of the staff is the best. They know their large menu and all the drinks they have. You will love them. The food is outstanding. We love their breakfast items. They have a pancake that my grandson loves that is chocolate and not thanks for me, but he thinks it is great. Their eggs, hash browns, waffles and plain pancakes are perfect. For lunch they have some of the best sliders with great buns and wonderful French fries. They also have ribs and all sorts of seafood. We love their fish and chips and they are often a special. The fried shrimp is great with super dipping sauces. Their sea food pots (the BOUNTY OF THE SEA POT)is my favorite) is so good and you can get it as a starter or for your main. We also love all their shrimp dishes. There is something for everyone. We love it.

Perhaps she should ask if the stroller can be stored on the side instead of assuming it needs to be at the table causing longer wait time and then have a condescension tone when asked how much longer. Once we were called to be seated she threw the tablet on the stand and the menus in the table. Completely unnecessary and awkward. Pretty much killing the mood for a simple bite to eat on a nice day at the beach. Then she had the nerve to lie to the manager and say she was cussed at when we asked to speak to the manager. No one deserves to be treated with such attitude. The manager mentioned that she was only 17. I said well hopefully this is a teachable moment for her. The server was great aside from that. Chicken pesto sandwich was ok chicken lacked a little flavor. Prices were reasonable

The person who helped us the most was, Soky. He was absolutely great They are on the water with a nice view of the marina and you can sit here and do some boat watching (it's gorgeous if you come here during sunset) the outdoor seating is very spacious. They even have a second level for a rooftop outdoor view. I'd say more people like to eat outside here vs inside. -this place is used for a lot of private events. parking can get extremely crowded Also, this place can be extremely loud It's open seating and we ended up ordering outside for their bbq special they were having (we had to order the BBQ outside) and then you go to their serve your own water stations if you are just drinking water, like we were We got -pastrami fries 5/5 -pepperoni pizza 3/5 -BBQ special 5/5 -brownie caramel sundae 5/5 I'm not a beer person, but their beer menu is impressive. They have limited options when it comes to other alcohol. When it comes to the food menu, they have a bit of everything. They have a big selection of - small bites / appetizers. Which makes it perfect to share with friends. They have pizzas Burgers Seafood options Pastrami burgers and pastrami fries (their pastrami is a favorite here) Vegetarian options And, weekday specials I like the atmosphere. Just be prepared, it does get pretty noisy in here during the weekend at peak hours. They have TVs and just from the amount of people packed in here. The atmosphere inside also has a view of the water. It's just one big glass window. So you can see the outside view from inside They offer a military discount And WiFi

Upon walking in the host said we could sit anywhere but on this day, half of the restaurant was closed off for a party which was fine. We sat on the beautiful deck. The tables have QR codes which is fine but it does tie you to that table making it hard to change tables mid order (will get to this point in a minute). 10 minutes into sitting down, a patron walks by us and as he is next to our table he buckles over and throws up. It's like 1pm on a Wednesday mind you...this bro was being a messy ass queen and getting that drunk at 1pm on a Wednesday? Bro get yourself a wife. Anyways. By this point we had already ordered and since the QR code is attached to the table and since that's how we ordered, we had to wait for our food before being able to move tables. 10 minutes then 20 minutes go by and not a single employee has come by to clean up the vomit and it's right next to our table and in main walk way... After we got our food, we moved tables and ate. The food was just okay at best. Way too expensive for that's ballast point for you.

That's an owner that truly cares about his business! The menu has a lot to offer. Great steaks, prime rib, and a lot of seafood options! In addition, the iffer daily specials. Honestly, it was tough to decide. We all chose seafood! Next visit definitely plan to try their Prime Rib or Filet! They have great soup and salad options as well! Next visit I want to try their French Onion Soup! Always looking for a great one! Interior has nice cozy booths. Parking was easy with a share lot. Cocktails were great! Martinis made right! I enjoyed my glass of Malbec. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised! Bread was warm and excellent! First impressions with bread is important and they measured up! We ordered the Beet Salad and the Asian Pear Salad. Both came with fresh Burrata and so good! For entrees we ordered Sear Ahi, Salmon, and Seated Scallops. My husband waa so impressed with his salmon, his quote, the best he has ever had! I had the seated scallops. The menu stated they were East Coast, where I grew up, and why I orderd them. I can't tell you exactly the differencebl but I prefer them back there vs West Coast, seem more meaty to me. They were preoared perfectly, definitely enjoyed the dush along with the side cous cous (pearl type) and lots of colorful al dente veggies! Our son ordered the appetizer size of the Seared Ahi. Perfect size when paired with a full size salad! It also was an excellent pick! Desserts. This place is known for their inhouse made desserts. If you know me, you know I have a sweet tooth. Nice offering if desserts. Since it wa our anniversary, they comp'd us a dessert of our choice! Very nice! We ordered two, Bread Pudding and Apple Tart. Both were excellent! Very generous portions too! Coffee was very good and paired well with the desserts. Definitely will be coming back! Too many items on the menu we didn't get to try!
