First time I got $ 16.00 dollars for the 2 bags without crusing the plastic watter bottles. Today my Second time I took the same 2 Big Green Bags with all plastic bottles and I crushed them to get more money and I tool on the side like 100 or more crushed soda cans aluminium and I got only $ 12.00. Big Rip Off , the first time a lady was there and this time a guy. What a big difference, I took way more plus the soda cans and I got way less. I think it is easy for these dishonest employees to rip people off.

Excellent experience with Unicorn Recycling today! I called around all over town to find a…read morereasonable/fair place to recycle some copper pipe scrap that was left over from a home re-pipe. Everyone else in the area wanted to offer me only half or less of what the current market rate was for #2 Copper (Class A) tubing. I called Unicorn and a delightful women answered the phone and was able to directly quote a (very fair) price to me right over the phone (only pennies under the current market rate) ... that's outstanding customer care and service! When I arrived at the location, the staff member who I met at the recycling area was quick, kind and assisted me with removing the material from my vehicle; he was easy to understand and very friendly. I told him that I had received a quote and he asked me what it was and honored the quote I was given. This has got to be, hands down, the easiest and best experience that I've ever had with a scrap material recycler! I will totally use this company again for any/all of my recycling needs and can wholeheartedly recommend them to friends and family. Thanks for knocking it out of the park! You guys rock!

I had heard about Scott Storage from my mom's neighbor, so I checked it out. Glad I did. Bob was at the front counter and I let him know what I needed. He let me know all he had available was a coveted 10x10 on the ground floor right near the drive up garage - how could I say no? First month was about $30 and it was just north of $200 each month after that. Because I knew I'd be out of there quickly, that was actually competitive compared to other places and smaller units. The place was clean, safe, and well organized. They even played some great music (I'm an old Xennial so I appreciate the 70s-90s hits). It was hella secure - you have to enter a code and can't get in after 7pm most nights. I had NO doubt my stuff was safe and secure. The complimentary carts and roll in garage made moving the stuff in easy - and we were able to move out before our third month, and it was a quick and easy process! Can't recommend this place enough.

They got my move out dates wrong and blamed me even through I had an email with the move out date. I spoke with Joseph who was very polite to me to change my move out 1 day later. He said to check out with the front desk and that Lisa would be working that day. She would verify my unit was clean and the lock was removed. On my move out day I went to the front office and explained to Lisa that I was moving out. She argued with me about my move out date and also refused to check me out by inspecting the unit and making sure my lock was removed. She even threaten to call the police on me. Who treats customers this way who have been with you for 10 years. I feel she was lazy and didn't want to take the walk. After this move out experience, poor service and the rising rates I would not rent or recommend Imperial Beach Self Storage to anyone. Just documenting my real experience.
