That loyalty clearly meant nothing. Recently, I had an item done (not naming what it was), and they did it wrong. When I went back to have their mistake fixed, instead of owning it, I was met with attitude like it was somehow my fault or like I should've just taken the loss. After nearly two decades of giving them my business, that's the treatment I got. On top of that, their prices have gone up significantly. I understand everything costs more nowadays, but when other cleaners in Downey are offering better service and better prices, there's no excuse. That interaction was the last straw. After years of loyalty, this place made it very easy to take my money elsewhere. I've already found a new cleaners in Downey that values customers and gets the job done right. No hard feelings.

When I checked my total I decided that I did not want to pay a certain price for one of the items. So I went back into the store a minute later and asked her to only repair one of the clothes and I would take back the other one. She responded with such blame saying that it was my fault that I misheard her. I did admit that I misheard the price. But because she was so upset with me she decided to refuse service for me on all the clothes that I brought in and sent me away telling me to go find better prices somewhere else.

My grandfather's vintage jacket was ruined, which is especially upsetting because it had sentimental value and cannot be replaced. My Essentials sweater came back faded, misshapen, and looked like it had been dried improperly in a machine dryer. The material and fit were completely messed up afterward. On top of that, my silky shirt was also damaged and no longer looks wearable. I trusted this cleaner with valuable and delicate clothing, and they failed to properly care for any of it. I would strongly recommend being careful before bringing important or sensitive items here. I payed $80 just to get my clothes ruined!

Uncomfortable interactions and poor customer service…read more I really wanted to like this laundromat. At first it seemed clean and convenient, but over time the experience has gone downhill. Several of the larger machines now smell bad, which is already an issue. On top of that, interactions with staff have consistently been uncomfortable. Anytime we ask to break a $20 or $100 bill (which is pretty standard at laundromats), the response is dismissive or flat-out refused, without explanation or effort to help. The tone from staff often comes across as condescending rather than professional. There also seems to be a communication barrier, which wouldn't be a problem on its own--but instead of trying to clarify or help, it creates tension and frustration for customers. Most recently, we were told we couldn't start a wash late in the evening, only to watch another customer be allowed to do so minutes later. No explanation, no apology. Between the odors, inconsistent rules, and uncomfortable staff interactions, the overall vibe just isn't welcoming. Customer service matters, and unfortunately this place falls short. Any efforts being made to clean the machines have not resolved the problem and require improvement. Intent doesn't negate impact--discomfort was still caused.
