always get my dry cleaning same day right at 4pm, they're so nice and they make it easy to be in and out

I'm extremely disappointed with the service here. I brought in several important clothing items, including my grandfather's vintage jacket, an Essentials sweater, and a few silky shirt, and all of them came back damaged. My grandfather's vintage jacket was ruined, which is especially upsetting because it had sentimental value and cannot be replaced. My Essentials sweater came back faded, misshapen, and looked like it had been dried improperly in a machine dryer. The material and fit were completely messed up afterward. On top of that, my silky shirt was also damaged and no longer looks wearable. I trusted this cleaner with valuable and delicate clothing, and they failed to properly care for any of it. I would strongly recommend being careful before bringing important or sensitive items here. I payed $80 just to get my clothes ruined! read more

Customer service is terrible! Went in hoping to drop off a jacket for a simple shortening of sleeve ( nothing fancy just wanted some inches off the cuff to make it shorter). Man at the counter didn't even let me finish and was like "NO" . Said the tailor was "very expensive " and he is only in ("9-1:00pm). I said I worked every day and it would be impossible for me to come back during those hours. He replied with "Well if you want a jacket done then you're gonna have to come". What kind of service does not have the option to drop off clothing and then call the customer if the tailor has any questions?? Also this is a low income community so obviously people will be at work during the tiny window that the "tailor" is available. I said Nevermind and took my jacket with me. I cannot trust their bad vibes to do a good job anyway; if they need me to be present to cut inches of a cuff to make it shorter. I would rather not deal with them or offer any of my business! read more

Absolutely unacceptable experience. Olympic Dry Cleaners in East Los Angeles completely ruined my mother's blouse--burned it--and then had the nerve to deny responsibility, claiming the damage was already there. Not only is that false, but their attitude showed zero accountability or professionalism. To make matters worse, they told me to pick it up on Monday and even gave me a receipt with that date, but conveniently failed to mention they'd be closed for Memorial Day. I drove in from far away for nothing. No courtesy call, no sign on the door, nothing. When I returned the following day, they STILL didn't have the items ready. I ended up waiting over two hours because they "weren't finished." This business lacks integrity, communication, and customer care. Save yourself the frustration--go somewhere else. read more

This is our first time trying Olympic Dry Cleaners on Olympic Blvd this cleaner have been in the same location for many years. We took my mom clothes to clean for her funeral. The cleaners did a great job cleaning my mom clothes they also say it be ready for the next then we pick the clothes on time. We need to come more often. read more

I went in last week to get a couple of pants tailored because they were a bit longer than what I wanted. I took a pair that was supposed to be used as a sample for both pants. When I arrive the following day, I'm informed that one pair wasn't altered because the length was the same as the sample, it wasn't. The other pair that was supposed to be altered to match the sample length was longer on one leg and didn't match the sample. I try on the pants and demostraste the longer length to the man who was altering my pants and he marks the pants with chalk to correct the length. I go back a few hours later to pick my pants up. One of the pants is corrected and this pair remained the same. It's as if they just ironed it and thought it wouldn't be noticeable. Is suggest you use your money and go elsewhere read more

Please don't waste your money here. They did not wash my coats only removed the stain that was in the front.

Took several of my suits to this place and they really made a very bad job, leaving then worse. They may not know what they are doing. I had emergency meetings and I had to end up trying to iron my suits my self ( which in fact that's exactly what I didn't wanted to do ) most of my suites ( 6 out of 11 I took ) they were left worthless. I do not recommend anyone to go there until they can show that they can do the work people Pay them for. For me , thats the last time I use them. read more

This place does it all! From fixing seams to replacing buttons and zippers there in-house man can sew anything... I brought in a RAIDERS Jersey for them to fix and it came out great very satisfied. read more

Very bad ..I took my authentic tbt chiva jersey this past saturday very rare jersey (chava reyes) that I havent washed for 5 years and decided to take it to the dry cleaners thinking they know how to handle and wash this tipe of jerseys and they end up calling me to tell me the numbers started to come off... .really im so disappointed so many years taking care of it.... this jersey is worth gold to me... never ever taking nothing here again thanks alot.... read more

I was born and raised in this community. This dry cleaners has been here since I can remember walking to my kindergarten class at Ford Blvd Elementary School in the mid 70's. But never did I imagine that I would be Yelping about this place. And I'm doing it for one simple reason... Honesty... I was pleased to see that when I picked up my dry cleaning there was a zip lock bag attached with a safety pin to my clothes. In the bag was $10 that I had left in one of my articles of clothing. I know that they are new owners. And there are some not so good reviews. But I have not had any problems with there services and customer service. And you cannot put a value on honesty. This is a throw back to when people and businesses were honest and right. I'm a true customer to your business and I will not go anywhere else for dry cleaning. They just amazed me twice is one week. They were able to get out red drink stains out of my favorite sweater that had been sitting there for weeks. Then again they were able to remove some blood stains (don't ask how they got there) off a dressing shirt that another cleaners wasn't able to remove. I miss the old owners. I tried giving this place another shot and they got a new guy to press the shirts... well he couldn't press a shirt to save his life. The creases are off and it looks stupid when you have a dress shirt with 2 crease lines a quarter of an inch apart.... I took my shirts back and they said they would fix them right away, they brought hem back 10 min later and they were exactly the same.... They next said ok, let us rewash them and press them again for you, come back tomorrow. I came back the next day to pick them up and guess what.... they were exactly the same!! I'm done with this place! they suck and are very unprofessional. They give the Sloans franchise a bad name F- in my book. read more

When it comes to cleaning, my shirts, slacks and jerseys they are above average. But when it comes to cleaning coats and jackets they suck. I took my suit once and the pants were clean but my jacket looked like it was just brushed off looked used and dirty. Next I sent in my fiances wool coat and noticed that the sleeves were full of lint that forms like little balls on the sleeves and I told the girl on the counter about it and she come back with a little soft rock and showed me how to take it out. I was like stunned and thought to myself isn't this supposed to be part of the cleaning process and your job. She gave me the rock and told me to do it at home. read more

If you want your dry cleaning by 4, tell them you need it in the morning. I dropped off my dry cleaning in the morning on Tuesday. I requested it for Thursday afternoon. I came by on Thursday at 4:15 and it wasn't ready. I had to wait for 15 minutes, for them to finish pressing the only two dress shirts in my order. I should have told them to have it ready Thursday morning. I expected better from Sloan's. read more

horrible service. they ruined my silk dress and some how managed to burn a hole in it and after admitting to it the manager Edward not only refused to compensate me for ruining my dress but had the nerve to charge me for dry cleaning it. I will never go there again. read more

Teresa has been able to do just about everything I ask, and if she doesn't think it will look good or may ruin your outfit, she'll tell you. read more
