There's mirrored signage that says TEA mounted high on the wall across from one another so as to appear as if it were a reflection. I personally can also see the word EAT in there every time I glance at it. I was told years ago that it came from an old Texaco gas station sign. It makes sense, check it out. On Western Avenue. I used to tell folks it's across from the pink Catholic Church rectory. That's been painted to a rather unattractive conservation brown. A lot of nice outdoor seating and cool shops nearby, check out next-door thrift shop and the ever remarkable Petaluma market around the corner, with superb produce display! Now days we drop in here on our way to Pt. Reyes. The downtown area has a lot going on (maybe not as much as Stacy's mom) and is definitely something to look into during the spring and summer. Inside seating and outside along the river. Looks like you can rent kayaks or canoes to paddle around. So coffee... check, breakfast goodies... check, champs and Momo's... check. So quick stop and on our way to Hog Island. If we lived here we would be here a lot I think. Will stop in again on future travels.

Somehow the muffin was both crisply toasted in butter to a crunch on top (of the muffin), yet amazingly chewy (in a good way) on the bottom. And not soggy, the sauce was well placed on top of the egg above the crab cake. The service was friendly and in all ways perfect. Food came quickly. The place was not noisy or perfumey. My only regret is I can only tell you about that one dish since that's what we shared. I was too full to finish the little smash-grilled baby potato discs so we took some to go.
