Highly recommend this cleaning company! Martha was very quick to respond to us and was able to fit us in right away. When they came and cleaned my home this past week they were very thorough and diligent. Martha would ask me if I wanted certain things done (like the sheets changed) and how -- which was great! I loved how she wanted to make sure the home was cleaned to my liking before finishing up and how she told me that if anything wasn't done as I wanted to just let her know and she would come back to fix it... It hurts me to leave such a bad review on what I thought was such a flawless review board. I recently requested the services of Martha and her team. It started off great with Martha responding promptly and coming over next day to check out our house and take a look at what she could expect of our house. We moved in over a year ago and have yet to have a good deep clean performed on the house. I told Martha this and inspected the house. I specifically told Martha that I wanted the baseboards cleaned and everything dialed in as this house has yet to have a deep clean. The next day Alberta and her team showed up. They did an amazing job, the house looks great and as they leave my fiancé and I ask if they got the baseboards too. Alberta pauses as she's walking out, looks at us both and says yes. We walk in and we love how clean everything looks and smells. We proceed to inspect the house. We walk in to the bathroom and are disappointed to see that the baseboards are just as filthy as they were before they came as well as the baseboards all around the house from the kitchen to the living rooms. I immediately texted Martha to let her know of what we found and our disappointment. She simply texted back by saying they would make up for it another time. I took another couple days to process this and wait for her response that maybe she would send her crew back out to make this right or knock some off the price. That never happened. So when I texted Martha about paying $125 rather than the $175 quoted for the "deep clean" she made the excuse that my house very dusty and if I had told her sooner she would have sent her crew back out to fix the issue. I expressed my concerns the day of and on this very day I write this review. I don't mind if something is missed but I don't want to pay full price for something that I request that is not done. And on top of that, I was lied to when I asked about that specific thing. I at least expect a discount on the services in order to retain a customer and uphold, what I thought, was a very solid reputation based on all of the reviews. The response I got to that was "I'm sorry this does not define my work ethic at all. I thank you for the opportunity". This doesn't define her work ethic as she was not the one here physically working, it just makes her poor business to owner; unwilling to recognize an issue and address it appropriately. She did offer to make it right on the next visit but who really wants to pay full price for a job not done right and then pay for a second service when the first wasn't even done the way it should have been done. So needless to say, we will not be using Sunshine services in the future, which is a shame. read more
