Seated pretty quickly. The seater was not the friendliest but our server was great. Food was good and prompt.

We had a 5:10 flight and stopped at Sunshine Diner, located in Terminal C of MCO, to grab a quick bite before boarding since we'd be getting home too late for dinner. My wife and I shared the turkey club, which was definitely big enough for two and had great flavor. She had a hot tea, and I went with a Mountain Dew. The staff was friendly from the hostess to our waitress, who was very accommodating and great to chat with. Portions were very good, and the atmosphere was especially nice for an airport restaurant.

Sunshine Diner is located in Terminal C of MCO. A plus is that this place opens early. We were hear for a 7:30am flight and were in this restaurant around 6am. The staff is very friendly and we received some great service. They pointed us in the direction of some of the breakfast specials they have had and we ordered the sandwich and the buttermilk pancakes. The portions are decent if you're not too hungry and want to share. The food was good and came in a timely manner...something much appreciated when you're in an airport and trying to eat before catching a flight. The ambiance was "airport" LOL meaning it was fine and the vibes were good. Like I said before, the staff was really great and even offered to fill up our water bottles with ice and water for us in lieu of asking for a glass of water to use. The Sunshine Diner got the job done for an early breakfast!

Pretty decent airport establishment. Their food was all very tasty and very fresh! They weren't too busy on a Saturday afternoon, so we were in and out relatively quick. Overpriced, but that was to be expected with airport food. Definitely worth a visit if you need quick and reliable food in their airport.

Delicious, friendly, and perfect location. I was heading out for a trip and was looking for something to eat. I came across the Sunshine Diner in terminal c and was thrilled. I sat at the bar and was taken care of by Chris, he was great. Knew the menu, made a mean drink, and had a great personality. I had a side of fries, two empanadas, the smashed potatoes, and some delicious drinks. It was a great location watching people running for their flights and I can't wait to go back.

Airport food usually doesn't have the best reviews. This was the highest rated place in terminal C so that was what brought me here. I would say my experience was just average for an airport. Nothing was personal or overtly friendly until it was time for me to pay and a different woman than my waiter came over with my check and asked if I wanted a refill on my drink ... maybe if I was still eating but I'm ready to leave at this point. My waiter didn't check on me ever. My flatbread was decent for an airport. There is a bar you can sit at here. Price was high as expected for an airport.

I was traveling out of terminal C and the options near my gate were limited. I am sure the restaurant knows this and that's why they feel justified charging these prices. My server looked like he was losing a little bit of his soul with every passing minute. I don't blame him though... I probably would too working in that environment and dealing with tourists. I decided on the grilled chicken platter. It was surprisingly tasty! I do wish there was more broccoli. Will I return? Most likely not.

This was a place we came across prior to boarding our plane to Jamaica. The server was pretty nice and attentive. The place wasn't too crowded ether and clean. I ordered breakfast but without any meat protein but the server was actually able to give me avocado which I thought was great! I paired my breakfast with coffee and it was delicious. I love diners like this especially when you are at the airport. Food came out hot. Definitely would come back!

I was at the Orlando airport waiting for my flight and I decided to get breakfast and decided to give Sunshine Diner a shot! The food and service were amazing! The ambience was that of a typical diner. I had breakfast plate with eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes and toast with a cold brew coffee. I would definitely check them out again for breakfast if I am back at MCO for a morning flight.

Arrived early? Got through security quickly? Hungry, teetering on hangry? Caffeine deficit? Needing a Mimosa? Make sure you head to the Sunshine Diner by Art Smith. Located in the departures of Terminal C at Orlando International Airport. It's across gate 236. The Diner has a quick to go market and a side for table service. There is ample seating, varied with tables and booths. Singles, doubles or groups. The hostess sat us and promptly our server came over & took our drink orders, coffee, water and apple juice. The menu has plenty of options, platters, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes and oatmeal. Lunch sandwiches and specialty drinks, mimosas, lattes and teas. My husband ordered baconeggandcheese, made with 3 scrambled, eggs and very crispy bacon, on a brioche bun. It is served with home fries. I got the Jose's breakfast sandwich, sunny side up egg, caremalized onions, avocado and bacon, on a croissant. Also served with home fries. Both sandwiches are good, the scrambled eggs are fluffy, the avocado fresh, the bun and croissant are toasted. The coffee was just ok. The service, excellent, attentive, friendly, efficient and quick. The prices range from $17 and up.

Came here to enjoy a drink before my flight and I love this area. It is so cute with delicious beverages. I didn't taste any food but the food I saw others eating looks out of this world for airport food. I got a blackberry Gin and Tonic which was unbelievable. I had a wonderful experience with Chris. He was unbelievably friendly, attentive, kind, and did his job well. He carried on great conversation while still working the bar top with ease. Next flight I'm here for I won't even give the other bars/restaurants a chance. Well done sunshine diner. Well. Done. !!!

I'm not a huge fan of the restaurant at Disney Springs (overhyped and over-priced) but I loved the Sunshine Diner at Terminal C AT OIA for my morning flight. I was immediately seated in a preferred booth and quickly placed my order of eggs, bacon, toast, and maybe the best OJ I've ever had in this airport. Friendly and fast service, I don't even think I was here 30 minutes and my food was served nice and hot. I would definitely return and recommend breakfast here to anyone before they hit the friendly skies.

The portions of ham and sausage as well as the mushrooms in they omelette were generous, and the drink was refreshing and not too sweet. It tasted more like regular French toast with strawberries on top. However, the chicken sausage was really good and a nice alternative to the Million Dollar Bacon. Overall, it was a good breakfast experience. If you're looking for solid food and a nice atmosphere, it's definitely a place worth checking out.

It is a family owned restaurant founded by New York natives who noticed a gap in Central Florida for high quality, authentic New York style diner food. The original location opened on Universal Boulevard in the Lake Cay area, near Universal Orlando and SeaWorld. The restaurant quickly became popular with both locals and vacationers looking for an alternative to the standard hotel breakfast buffet. Following the success of the Universal Boulevard location, the owners expanded to additional Central Florida locations, including Lake Buena Vista and Dr. Phillips. The Diner has gained attention for its creative twists on classic comfort food. One of its signature dishes is the Bennyffle a combination of Eggs Benedict served over a waffle. The menu also features specialty cereal pancakes, including Fruity Pebbles and Oreo Crunch, along with classics such as chicken and waffles. In July 2026, the Universal Boulevard location even became the center of a viral national news story after a family of seven including children reportedly walked out on a $298.47 breakfast bill. The story highlighted how hard family businesses work and how an incident like this can affect them. I recently met up with a group of friends at The Diner for brunch. The Diner can get crowded, and they do not take reservations. I am grateful that one of my friends arrived very early to wait for a table for our group. The diner offers a selection of coffee drinks as well as alcoholic beverages, making it a festive spot for brunch. Since I had a long day ahead, I stuck with coffee and ordered the signature chicken and waffles. The combination was delicious. The crispy, savory fried chicken was the perfect partner to the soft, buttery waffles, while the warm, sweet maple syrup contrasted to the salty chicken. It was a very large portion and I really enjoyed my meal. The service was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating when we needed several separate checks. I loved my visit to The Diner, and the experience was made even better by sharing brunch with a great group of friends. Good food, friendly service, and even better company made for a memorable morning.
