So of course the first appointment I made was getting my hair done with the magical Antonio! I survived the late flight in to Louisville and proceeded to look for a therapist. I called when they were opened and got an appointment before my convention started. The massage, as I said, was great! She really focused on my bad area and managed to get the knot out. I am now able to get out of the chair without screaming pain. The most helpful thing, she came to the hotel room. I did not have to go to her place of business which was a God send since I probably wouldn't have made it either by taxi or walking. Natural light pours into the room, illuminating the lovely furniture and decorations. Anna listened to what I told her about what was going on with me and what I wanted from the massage. Her excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology enabled her to hone in on the sources of my problems, and through skill and intuition, she was able to effectively address each of the issues. She gave me the deep, therapeutic massage I needed without it feeling like torture. I left feeling amazing. After reading reviews and yelp comments I chose Solace. I loved that I was able to book with Collette online and it was super easy. The place itself is a bit hard to find. It isn't facing the street. However if you go old school, follow GPS and then look for the buildings address it was simple. The space is very inviting and relaxing. And clean!! I felt very at ease with Collette and she gave me a wonderful massage. I look forward to seeing her again.
