Zero nonsense, quick line, solid dogs. Yes, they'll get you with the $2 extra dog (in a good way). We saw a rack of Martin's potato buns when washing up and yes, this is the PERFECT bun for this style/quality of dog. You can polish off your dogs and be back on Franklin in less than 20 minutes. After games it can get busy and we're SO glad we left a few minutes early (blowout) and stopped in on our way out of town.

Open late, more combinations of hot dogs than you ever thought possible, and strong drinks--what more could you ask for from a college town restaurant/bar? Sup Dogs is open late enough for it to be a post-bar stop, but not too late that things get sketchy. Carolina decor galore, Sup Dogs also boasts quite a few large TVs if you're looking to watch a game. It's also a phenomenal spot for people-watching, so grab a Sup Crush (I recommend the cherry lime!) and enjoy :)

First time coming here, nice seating area outside and inside, staff is very helpful and friendly. Came in specifically for the Hawaiian (hot) dog i saw online and did not disappoint! pretty affordable too you get a hot dog and a lot of fries for $8.49 you can also upgrade your side to cheesy tots or cheesy fries for $3. definitely going back because they have so many choices for burgers and hot dogs i need to try them all :)

Great hotdogs. The staff was great. The restaurant was very clean. Prices were lower than I thought they would be. Great menu

The dogs were just okaaaaay...maybe woud have been better if they were grilled. I expected the Chilli to have flavor but it was bland. Cant say that I was impressed. Nice spot full of college students and TV and music to keep you entertained. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

Sup Dogs is impossible to not love. There's plenty of servers to take care of you. The food is fun and delicious. There's something for just about everyone! Orange sup crush is iconic and fresh. My first Sup Dogs trip would've been over 10 years ago in Greenville and every time I've gone to either location the food and drinks are always perfect. I love sharing Sups with my family and friends! This location would be great for any UNC fan - tons of fun art inside and a lively atmosphere that makes it a Franklin St staple I'm sure.

We got a burger and a small order of pizza fries. It was a lot of food. The atmosphere made us think of Hooters.

Spent the day in Chapel Hill and needed a place to eat which was quick, affordable and family friendly. .. Sup Dog did not disappoint on this front. I got a burger which was pretty tasty, but they will only cook it well-done (I like mine medium-well). Service was good, price was average for what they serve.

Fantastic place right on Franklin St within a short walk of UNC Chapel Hill. We were greeted upon walking in and the service remained friendly and excellent from there! Vast menu and we ended up with a burger meal and hot dog meal. The burger meal I skipped the bun and they did such a great job! Everything was delicious, great atmosphere, seating inside and out and a full bar!

Great place for lunch. The service was awesome and the murals on the walls of the UNC players were well done. We tried the Western, Smokehouse and Sweet Dog combos. We also threw in a Smokehouse burger. The key ingredient is the chile they use on some of the burgers. Outstanding! I will say the potato rolls they use bring it home! If you are a hot dog connoisseur, this is a definite stop on Franklin Street.

I really really really wanted to like this place! I stopped in on Saturday for lunch and thought the place would be packed but I walked straight in to order. I wasn't sure if it was dine in or not because no one greeted me at the door. I was given a menu with a QR code and able to place an order. My food came out within 10-minutes. I decided to sit outside to enjoy my food. I opened my box of goodness to find they the fries were cold. The only good part about it was the dipping sauce. The hotdogs were average just like the reviews on this place. I understand the 3-star rating now. I feel like the photos look better than what it taste like. Overall, good customer service. The girls working were all very kind. Other than that, it wasn't worth finding and paying for parking.

I decide to stop in. The menu looked interesting esp that fried bologna sandwich but i was there to try out the dogs. At the window, im speaking to and elderly gentleman about NC State Athletics and was not in a rush to order at all. Just so happens, the rude guy working the window had a different thought in mind and literally said talk to me not to him if you're trying to order. So i turn my attention to the disrespectful guy, and start to place my order and he walks off and tells the young lady to finish taking my order. Just your rude customer service alone wins you a nice one star rating. You're in customer service he hospitable. Maybe you were having a bad day or something, but guess what being rude is never acceptable. And let me set the scene, the elderly gentleman and i are the only ones standing out there. And i was in no rush to order bc i was in the middle it a grown up conversation. Do better bud The hot dog Chili- 2/10 can do without. Def tastes like it's of of a hormel can Slaw- 1/10 Bun- 2/10 felt like i was at a hot dog eating contest soaking my bun in water Hot dog- 6/10 after i removed everything except ketchup and mustard. And added extra ketchup since there was hardly any on it (specifically asked for ketchup) Moving forward if i ever come by this spot, i would just get the dog with ketchup and mustard and light steaming of bun They def have the good ice pellets though. 2 stars for the ice and the dog with ketchup and mustard only

Mat Jib is one of the "mid" choices in H-Mart Cary's "food court" and I'd probably rank it 2nd,…read morewhich isn't saying much because the only excellent concession here is the #1 ranked Love Bao (Taiwanese food), which I previously reviewed. We tried both sushi rolls and corn dogs in our 3 experiences as a customer at Mat Jib before: 2 for corndogs, 1 for sushi. The sushis are nothing special here; a bit overpriced for their mediocre quality. However, we'd return to Mat Jib for its Korean corndogs. There are 4 kinds of corndogs you can choose from: 1. Potato + Hotdog (no cheese) - $8 2. Half Half (Half mozarella/ half hotdog - $7 3. Only Mozarella - $7 4. Only Hotdog - $6 As you can see, no matter what we choose, there seems to be something lacking depending on your choice. What if I want a full hotdog with cheese with my corndog? "Oh sorry, you can't have that!" What if I also want cheese if I choose the potato + hotdog option? "Oh sorry, that's not one of the choices either!" If you're going to sell a corndog for $7+, why not fill it up more? In our latest visit, we got 1 Half Half corndog to share. I was standing in front of the Mat Jib concession, waiting behind what I thought was a short line. But it turned out that those people were just waiting for their order and the employee standing in front just looked at me without saying a word. I went closer to the cashier, and ordered that Half Half corndog. She asked if I wanted ketchup and mustard placed on top of the corndog or on the side. I said on top. The service in Mat Jib was kind of slow. There were only about 2 to 3 customers waiting before me, and it took about 15 minutes for our corndog to be ready. We got the spicy popcorn chicken from Love Bao 5 minutes earlier than 1 corndog. Ridiculous! Mat Jib shares dining spaces with other food concessions here in H-Mart, so there's nothing special about its ambiance. It can get super crowded here on weekends, so it might be better to just take out a corndog or 2 than wait for vacancy. We didn't have issues finding a couple of seats on a Wednesday evening, however. We enjoyed the mozarella cheesiness of the corndog and how the breading is tasty with the mustard & ketchup. One thing that annoyed us was how the hotdog inside was little since it's half; it was more like a Vienna sausage. Nonetheless, it was the most delicious corndog we've devoured together, a more satisfying choice than Mat Jib's sushi rolls and most of what you can get from other food concessions in H-Mart - Cary. | Overall Score: 3.3/5
