The flavors are always on point, the service is always solid, and the portions are always plentiful. Whenever we have carried out, our orders have always been ready by the time promised. When dining in, they have never taken too long to bring out the food to our table. Their lunch specials are a solid deal since you get an appetizer plus a dinner-sized portion for lunch. Our most frequently ordered dishes include the Pad See Ew or Drunken Noodle with Beef, Green Curry Fried Rice w. Chicken, and Red Curry w. Shrimp. You really can't go wrong with any of them and they are great as leftovers the next day. If ordering a curry dish, you may want to ask for an extra container of rice to soak up all the delicious curry. We used to order exclusively from another Thai restaurant about half a mile away but Sup Thai has become our more frequent option. I was randomly craving noodles & dumplings and searched Yelp for somewhere new to try. I'd passed this place a dozen times and didn't notice it but the food options looked great so I decided to stop in and try it out. I'm SO glad I did! I think I've found my new favorite drunken noodles spot. The food was delicious. I need to go back to try other things on the menu (but I'm a creature of habit and I'm probably just going to order the drunken noodles again because I love it so much.) I just wish that more dumplings came in each order but maybe because I went with the lunch special, it was less than a regular order. I'll have to go back and find out. The restaurant is so cozy and cute. I couldn't stop looking at the art on the walls & if a place has a cute bathroom setup, I automatically like them more. Great atmosphere, great price, great food. What else can you ask for? I came in on a Sunday evening with my gf and we were seated at the bar table immediately. I ordered the Chiang Mai Curry Noodles and loved the broth! It was rich and packed with flavor (not too spicy). My only qualm is that the crispy noodles almost took over, I wish that the ratio of the crispy noodles and soft noodles in the broth were reversed. I don't know if that'll really prevent me from ordering again though, aside from also wanting to try the rest of their menu. I tried my girlfriends blue rice and loved it so I'll probably get a rice dish next time. For dessert I had the Thai ice tea ice cream with gold egg yolk and loved it! I went with a friend last night and it was definitely a different experience, there were items on the menu I've never seen at my usual Thai restaurants, but there also felt like some standard options were missing from Sup's menu. We had two Thai iced teas, mine with boba. Fried calamari, Bangkok crab meat noodles (dry) and Beef Pad See-Ew. The boba in the tea had a strange consistency, over cooked on the outside and hard on the inside. The calamari was flavorless, he took on bite and said "this tastes like nothing" My Bangkok crab meat noodles were soup with the broth on the side...I thought when being given the option to have it as either soup or dry, dry meant stir fried. Nothing from this entree was piping hot, in fact the dumplings were cold. I can't speak for his Pad See-Ew, I just know I wasn't interested in tasting Also the portion size for everything was on the small side, but the price point comparable. Best Thai food in NYC and a hidden gem. Every time I'm in Queens, I have to get takeout from SupThai. I've tried pretty much everything from the menu and there's pretty much nothing that isn't delicious. My husband is always complaining about the spice level not being hot enough, but they hit the mark! When in season their mango sticky rice is soooooo good and both their thai tea and Thai coffee are tasty as well. If you have an opportunity, check this place out! I am so blessed to have a new thai restaurant open up just 5 minutes from my house! I've always been a big fan of BKNY, but I think I have found a new winner. Tried this new spot with my friend on a Tuesday for lunch and it was SOO GOOD. The lunch special is really worth it! We both got a pad see ew chicken ($12). For the appetizer, I got the thai crepe dumpling and my friend got the fried crab dumpling. The thai crepe dumpling was a pleasant surprise of sweet and spicy and the crab dumpling reminded me of a fried shumai. The pad see ew was cooked perfectly and since that is my favorite dish, I had to get it. For me, if you can't make pad see ew right, that is a bad sign. I think I finally found my favorite Thai restaurant in the area! First of all, I think it's super rare for a lot of places to have Thai iced green tea among their beverages so you can only imagine my excitement when I discovered they served it here! Second of all, I don't think I've found good khao soi in any other restaurants as well. I fell in love with the curry noodles when I was in chiang mai and Sup Thai Kitchen Chiang Mai curry noodle dish comes very close to the one I had in Thailand. The dish came with a lime, onions and pickled mustard greens to garnish with. The curry broth is flavorful, but not overwhelmingly thick. The crispy noodles went well among the abundance of noodles in the dish. The drumstick in the dish was tender and fell off the bone! My friend ordered the crab fried rice and I think it had a generous amount of crab in it. We also ordered the Sup's sampler and presentation was definitely unique and really cute. It came with some shrimp and chicken dumplings (which were basically big siu mais), fried crab dumplings, chive pancakes and spring rolls. Chive pancakes were great, but very different from what I expected. It was almost like a chive mochi since it was pretty glutinous. Service was phenomenal! They were super attentive and friendly. Food came out pretty promptly. We also got to try the lychee drink in the end (which I also recommend as well. It's not too overwhelming like other lychee drinks I've had). I want to also point out that this location was previously a Thai restaurant too but closed down for business. Upon arrival you'll notice the amazing interior. By far the best Thai in the area and one of my new faves in Queens. This location used to be another Thai restaurant, which wasn't very good. I was driving by saw the windows and lights and literally hit the breaks. Im glad I went in! The appealing new storefront is what drew me. Inside it was beautifully decorated. I love how they had the Thai lettering/symbols on the tiles where the bar is. I usually go to other new thai place on union tpk (Kin'd) but this place is competition for sure. Owner and servers came by several times to check on us and converse with my kids. I haven't had such excellent service like this in a long time. They made us feel like we knew them for years. I had to remind myself I was still in Queens lol. They all were so humble, kind, & personable. The owner made us feel so welcome and comfortable. I ordered a fried calamari which my kids devoured. I loved how it wasn't very salty at all, and wasn't overly breaded. It came it a cute little basket with a peanut sweet and sour sauce. For myself, I had the Crispy Pork with Chinese broccoli. It was very delicious. Perfectly crispy and they didn't skimp out on the meat either. The rice I think was a chicken broth rice which was very good and had some flavor to it. There was enough for me to share some of my plate with my kids. They gave my kids complimentary lychee which was very sweet. We will for sure be coming back. I've surrendered to this Thai restaurant. After just visiting Thailand only a few months ago, this restaurant took me back in a time trans, to the moment I was standing on a busy street corner in Bangkok! First and foremost, the ambience and design of the restaurant is beautifully adorn. The restaurant is on the corner of union turnpike with huge windows allowing sunlight to enter the restaurant. The walls are embellished with drawings of Thai culture - tuk tuks market signs with baht conversions, Buddhas everywhere ... you get the gist. The dining experience was top notch. The servers and owner was very attentive. The food was presented and served on traditional Thai silverware and the lunch special is available everyday - even on weekends (1 app + 1 chicken entree for $12!!). Literally a steal. I had an order of the fried crab dumpling as an appetizer- AMAZING! For the main entree, I enjoyed the spicy basil with an egg over rice with ground chicken. Very authentic and a burst of cultural flavor. As we were dining, we were approached by the owner who informed us that the restaurant had only been open for a week. Let me just say, she was the humblest owner I've ever met. She sat and chatted with us for about 15 minutes and made her rounds to every patron in the restaurant. She really made us feel warm and welcomed, which is traditional of Thai people and culture, to be very hospitable. Right as we were paying our check, she served us complimentary Logan fruit drinks because my mom told her how much she loved Logan when we visited Thailand. Amazing new local spot! I will definitely be coming back! The decor is simple but cute with a loft feel. Cool touch with a baht marketplace sign by the bar. Fresh flowers on every table. We came on a Thursday night; made reservations for 15 at 7pm. They combined the tables on the back right for us. They were really busy. Shortly after sitting down, there was a wait by the door and people picking up orders to go. Although they were really busy they were still very attentive and friendly. Our waters were always filled. They came over to apologize for the slow down multiple times but we thought the timing between ordering and receiving our food was pretty fair. The wait staff were all friendly and nice. Even the kitchen staff at one point stopped by because the wait staff were so busy. The appetizers came out fairly quick considering we ordered about 12. The chive pancakes were so fresh and crispy/crunchy. The home made crepe dumplings were also great. I would also recommend the papaya (esan) salad. The specials tonight were crispy duck and red snapper. We ordered both. The crispy duck with curry was better than the basil but both were good. I ordered the drunken noodle with beef. It had a spicy kick to it for sure. The lychee Thai tea was interesting. It's certainly different than anything I ever had. Their Thai ice tea was milky and sweet. The Thai coffee was strong but also on the sweeter side. For dessert, their durian ice cream is flavorful. They have a Thai tea creme brûlée! This was also good. Their mango sticky rice was good except the mangos weren't in season so it was a bit sour for some of us. They were very accommodating - when we asked to remove bamboo shoots from the green curry, they were absolutely fine with it. Its a cute cozy small setting. There is a flower in water placed in the middle of the table. It did take some time for the waitress to come over. I feel they should introduce themselves so you can know whose waiting on you. For the appetizer, we had calamari and scallion pancakes. The calamari was kind of bland in my opinion but the sauce that came with it was sweet and spicy. The description on the site for fried calamari says potatoes, zucchini, squash, celery, carrots and fresh pasta. I honestly didnt taste any of that as calamari is fried squid. Not sure if that description is correct. (Sorry forgot to take a pic of it). The chive pancakes was really tasty. I had the drunken chicken noodles which has eggs, onions and chill sauce. It was spicy how I like it! My friend had the shrimp wonton soup and the Sriracha fried rice mix with seafood. It had squid and shrimp in it. I had the thai ice tea and he had the lychee lemonade. Was so liquid which you drop into it to change colors. It made it lighter but didnt really change. We had no dessert perhaps next time. Overrall the food was really tasty! The Tom Kha soup was okay, it's was thick and missing cilantro. We ordered the siracha fry rice which was also good. I ordered the chicken sampler and notice that it look to have pork rinds which was not mention on the menu. First the waiter asked to brush it off, which they obviously don't know many religions don't eat pork and it's insulting to even suggest that. I said no thanks, I'll order something else and suggested for them to add it on the menu because a lot of people don't eat pork. The waiter had a lot of comments who made all of them and kept walking away after. The waiter then said the menu is made for certain people which I was a bit taken back by that comment and that they are a new place. I made the recommendation because most new places welcome the feedback. I tried to order wine they were out, ordered a refill on our beer, they were out for the other glass. And finally ordered a cocktail, it was really light so I asked if there's alcohol in it? The waiter responded, we don't serve water in the drinks... They really need to improve their service for a local neighbor restaurant or they won't be around for long. read more

I was excited to try the newest Thai Restaurant in my old neighborhood as the the old restaurant in this space was very good. Sup was far better than the Thai Restaurant that used to be at this location. Major upgrade! Wood floors, an understated flower on each table and classic white china. We arrived in time for the lunch special. Since this was our first visit we ordered our favorite noodle dishes so that we could sample both. I ordered to Pad See Ew with Shrimp, while my friend ordered the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp. For an appetizer, we both decided to try the Crab Dumplings. Looking at the appetizers and entrees at the neighboring tables, heightened our anticipation. The Crab Dumplings were fried to a light crisp and it was filled with crab - each bite! It was complimented with a sweet chili sauce. The Pad See Ew was amazing! The portion was a really good size. It was the same size as a dinner portion in other restaurants. The Drunken Noodles were spot on! Sometimes they can just be hot without much flavor; however, these had heat and the noodles were flavorful! Bravo! We will definitely return, and I look forward to eating my way through many of their appetizers! read more

The wife and I were craving Thai food and we saw SUP just opened up and decided to go for dinner. The decor looks amazing, liked the cute fish of the day signage too! We ordered the Sup Sampler and they were tasty appetizers! We especially liked the Chive pancakes compared to other places! I had the Green Curry Fried Rice with Shrimp and it was delicious and spicy! Just the perfect amount of spicy for the cold weather, and did I mention plenty of shrimp? The wife had the Massaman Curry Beef, and oh were the beef portions huge! If we weren't so full, we would've ordered another bowl of rice to finish the little amount of curry sauce left! I also have to mention the Thai Ice Green Tea! I'm a big green tea fan, and I can't believe I didn't try this earlier! For our next Thai food craving, we'll be back for more! read more
