We stayed for one night. Family if 5. They were able to accommodate us with a room with 2 queens and a bunk bed. It was perfect for what we needed. We were in the second building , there was lots of parking and our room was easily accessible. There are vending machines in the hallway and the room has both a microwave and fridge. There are lights above the bunk beds but they didn't work. No complaints from us. I'll get pictures later when our room isn't so messy. read more

Replying to comment from Super 8 Manager ofcourse as shown in the comment she is trying to make herself look right. It's been over 14 days and their SECOND charge is still pending on my account. I think the evidence speaks for itself. Let's put down guests and their character rather than making things right. I would advise any traveler to avoid this place at any cost. They can't charge correctly, their rooms stink "pet friendly" or not I've never had a stinky room even at a Motel 6 which was a 10 compared to this place at even the worst Motel 6 where I've had issues. Also their customer service just plain sucks across the board as shown by her comment on my review disparaging me and still not taking accountability. It's been 15 days since I left my review and their charges still have not fallen off. A pending charge does not take weeks. They couldn't even change a coffee container they were delusional about that. They rather sit at their front desk and gossip about their guests. Read thru their other reviews that talk about bed bugs issues and stealing customer credit cards while doing room service to sum it up for proper expectations. It's a circus of nonsense. The Days Inn steps away is an apt choice. I've stayed there prior to this trip and it was wonderful. ****Also: another side note: Every review that I leave I try to work things out at the business level before leaving the review on their business. I don't just arbitrarily leave reviews. That said, for the record, I tried multiple times in person (never spoke to LaSundrea IN PERSON as she is saying) However, I spoke to check in person at night who was aggressive and argumentative, two front desk agents in the am who were VERY aggressive and argumentative and gossipy in front of guests, a coffee person who was also argumentative and lazy and LaSundrea over a Booking.com and an email thread where she refused to detail all the charges and the exact amount going back. Her math did not math. A 2 year old could have mathed better. All told, I spoke to 5 people at Super 8 Wyndham Flagstaff and 3 Booking.com agents. For a one day late overnight early morning stay. A review is my last resort. I take leaving a negative review very seriously because it's on my name as well. Any reviews I've left have been 100 percent honest and a last resort to let other people know proper expectations. Had Super 8 tried to make any of this right I never would have left a review. It wasn't exactly easy to find this hotel. I believe I was driving in the back and kept missing the entry. I was only here for a night, and the stay was good enough. There's nothing much around here unless you head into downtown or the small shopping area close by. They have microwave and refrigerator in the room. They have free breakfast in the morning located in the lobby area. I see that most people are early risers in this hotel because it was packed in the morning, and we were lucky to get a table. read more

This was a decent hotel that did the job for a family of 5. Prices were much more affordable than the hotels around Grand Canyon. The suite had (2) queen beds and a bunk bed for the kiddos. It's an older hotel and it was clean enough. Check in was fast and easy. read more

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this property. After having an issue there and contacting the front desk, I was met with rudeness and no help. Wouldn't even change my room. Reported them to Customer Care....who did nothing. GM would not contact me. If I could leave a negative number number on the review, I would. For a 2-day stay we also decided to bring our pets (2 dogs), and Super 8 was the best choice. There wasn't too much not to like. Granted, it was a Super 8 so a swimming pool, a workout or computer room was not part of the equation. I could hear both upstairs guests and those in the nearby lobby but it wasn't cause for alarm. But having a room that included 2 queen sized beds, a bunk bed combo and pets included (for an additional pet fee) was cool. Walking the pets outside after midnight was relatively safe and I there were poop bags available that left the grounds also cleaner than I originally expected. The parking, free breakfast and the room itself were all pretty decent too. Located near main roads and places to eat, it was an ideal situation for us. Reccomend! read more

The hotel was sort of hard to find and the lobby was difficult to locate. Check in was easy enough and the worker at the desk was friendly. No one told us what time breakfast was served or where to park since the lot was very full. The room was comfortable but definitely heard everything happening in the hallway all night long. I stayed here for one night on December 12, 2024. Reasonable prices compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Very comfortable king size bed with about 5 pillows, all of different volume. Perfectly gentle lighting above and around the sink area. Had a very late dinner and watched the 49ers/Rams game at Dirty Birdies, a restaurant/sports bar, which is just a 5 minute drive down the road, with reasonable prices. The hotel does not carry the network which broadcast the game, so that gave me incentive to go out (and the reason for 4 stars). The hotel served a continental breakfast (pancakes, sausage, eggs, muffins, etc.), which ended at 9am. I arrived just after 9am while formally checking out. The front desk allowed me to have anything that was remaining in the hot plates/warmers since they hadn't yet begun clearing. If I ever do visit Flagstaff again, I would definitely consider this hotel for another stay. read more

Cheap enough room for an unexpected overnight stay in Flagstaff. Eva at front desk was friendly, helpful, & courteous at check in. Room & bathroom were reasonably clean. Bed slept well and shower was hot. While complimentary breakfast was a bit sparse on offerings, the usual players were on hand: coffee, hot & cold cereals, donuts, toast, fruit, yogurt, waffle fixin's. Housekeeping staff were friendly when I interacted with them the next day. I'd gladly stay here again. read more

Only giving this place 1 star 1 star for all the friendly front desk workers/comfy beds/ the somewhat breakfast choices that they have. They lose 1 star for my wallet being stolen on December 5, 2022 and I remember what day it was because I didn't have my wallet while I was in the ER for a D&C. Also someone tried to use my cards at the mall on December 20th, 2022 and was trying to spend $600 at 1 store. The day after my wallet went missing I asked the front to check the hotel cameras around 6:00am - 6:15am because my son and I were at breakfast. The "manager" said that there cameras doesn't show anyone going into my room but just me and my toddler. I kid you not when I say I dumped all of my trash that was in trash bags onto the title to look for my wallet and still didn't find it. They lose another star because when my husband and I tore apart the whole room looking for my wallet we found. Dirty underwear and socks under 1 bed. And a little girls purse and wallet that had $17.55 cents in it. We went to the police station and dropped it off since it had a Identification card with the address on it. They lose another star because when my husband and I came back to the hotel on February 11, 2023 I checked in and the lady at the front desk said "Oh I think this is yours!" Guess what it was my wallet. She said that it was "FOUND" near the dumpster nobody must of seen it because of all the snow. The day it went missing there was no snow on the ground. All of my other cards were in there just not my bank cards. On February 15th I was getting my son ready and picking up my room when the maids knocked on my door and asked if I wanted service today and I told her yes please give me until 10:15am and I'll be gone. Before leaving the room I had all of our trash tied up in a trash bag. All of the bedding had been removed off of the beds and I vacuumed the floor with my personal mini vacuum. I also cleaned the bathroom to the best of my ability. I came back around 2:33pm and my room wasn't finished being cleaned. I said ok no problem so I drove around and came back 15mins later. And when I did the maid told me sorry for taking so long in your room it was really dirty. When I asked how so when I always pre-clean before you guys get in there? She just gave me a blank stare and left. I get back into my room and my toddler finds both of my missing bank cards that were in my wallet. We ended stay here until March 1 since our apartment was FINALLY ready. I refused room service after that but I would leave my trash outside along with the dirt towels and bedding in a trash bag and I would call the front desk asking for new ones. They should lose another star but I can't take away from the nice front desk workers besides the manger. On the night of February 16, 2023 around 8pm. I hit my ankle against the bed because the metal was sticking out. I went to the front desk and they gave me a bag of ice and told me that they will have someone come by tomorrow morning to fix it. (Picture is posted). They fixed it by wrapping it in duck tape. On February 24, 2023 it was sunny outside and my husband asked the manger if we could use there shovel to dig our other car out and she said " Sorry we don't have 1" So we're outside trying to move the snow when we see a maintenance guy with a snow shovel and asked if we could use it and he said "Sorry we're not allowed to let guest use them". So we left in our other car trying to find a snow shovel and no one sells them anymore. Pretty sure a couple of people are reading this and are like you know it snows so why didn't you have one. We did have one but it broke the day before. We come back to the hotel at 6:51pm to see the whole parking lot cleared of snow even the 3 cars that NEVER move had no snow in front of it. But my car did. (Picture). Honestly so glad to be done with Super 8. I am really going to miss the nice and friendly ladies that work up at the front and the super nice maintenance guys. read more

I stayed here for one night and the motel was good. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the area was quiet. The only downside was that the air conditioner was a noisy unit; luckily, we were able to turn it on while we went out for a meal, so we didn't have to have it on throughout the night. However, it would kick on in the middle of the night which woke us up. The staff are very friendly. The continental breakfast was a little lacking but typical; it was mostly made up of sugary items (pastries, sweet yogurt, waffles etc). All in all, a decent stay for an affordable price in Flagstaff. read more

Drove up here to get a little respite from the Queen Creek heat. This is a really nice Super8. Friendly Staff and nice clean rooms. Wifi work really nicely and for a reasonably inexpensive stay a great stopover. I really didn't have one complaint about this hotel which is unusual. The Veteran Parking space near the entrance was a nice unexpected touch. We will come back again soon. read more

The staff was very helpful, polite and courteous. They were very accommodating. But that was where our stay was less than pleasant with the building and its ground being very unfriendly for handicapped with Building 2 ramp being in the back only to lead up to a door that has an EXIT ONLY sign on it. The curbs around the building were high and not cut away for a wheelchair or the physically handicap. There was a ramp after my 86 year old sister, who was an amputee, had to navigated the high curb only to have the challenge of walking up three(3) additional stairs before getting the building's door. Designated handicap parking was very limited especially when I was looking for one to register. There were no electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, since I needed to charge my car for my return trip home. The hallways were dark, to the point that I had to ask staff to place my key into the slot, since I could not see it! No more Wyndham for me! read more

I supposed COVID is the reason they don't actually serve breakfast. But when we call and make reservations, don't tell us that you do serve breakfast, but then offer granola bars as the breakfast once you've seal the deal on renting the room. Complete bait and switch. Also the bed is hard as a rock, I didn't sleep a wink. I thoroughly expect to come down with Corona now. We were on a family vacation and had to stay in Flagstaff to fix some car troubles. The hallways were not secure, as you didn't need a card to get in it and I did not feel safe. Halfway through my shower I smelled an overwhelming poop smell, the beds were not comfortable and the continental breakfast was very limited. Then we got home and they are now saying we smoked in the room and are charging $250 to my card. When I inquired, they said they would not be reversing the charges and the manager hung up on me. We are smokers, but definitely did not smoke in the room with my child. We will never stay in a Super 8 again. We stayed in 5 different hotels along our trip and did not have any problems with any of the other ones. read more

With a reservation, I arrived at 1:30 pm after driving 6-1/2 hours. I was tired and not feeling well. The clerk told me I could not check in until 3:00. She told me there were no clean rooms available. The room was clean, front desk service they knew that both icemakers were broken yet they still send me to get ice. The signs written out of order were outdated. Did a last minute getaway and took off to Flagstaff for the night. Come to find out the night I wanted to leave Phoenix, Flagstaff was all booked due to a car show, but I checked out Priceline (my goto website for last minute hotels) and found a great deal for a Super 8, so I took it and made my up to Flag. Made it up there under 2 1/2 hours, and when I went to check in there was a customer in front of me, but the clerk handled both of us in a timely matter. I wound up being put in a family suite, it had 2 queen beds, a sofa, table, chairs, microwave, mini fridge, it really was a nice room, and it was peaceful. I got what I paid for, this wasn't a 4 or 5 star place, but it was perfect for the night. The room was clean, the carpets clean, the bathroom was spotless. If I was in the area again and needed a room for the night, I wouldn't mind stopping by here. There is a free breakfast in the lobby was well, saw coffee and rolls and cereal, a typical continental breakfast. Check out was easy and was quickly on my way. read more

Cheap and clean! Only complaints are that the front lot got full at night and I had to park on the side/back where there wasn't much lighting and the sink took a long time to drain. My husband and I had an okay stay here. 3/5 at best. The reception staff was very kind and we had a pleasant interaction with them. The only issue was with our room. We stayed in 215 and as soon as we entered it smelled really moldy and gross in there. The window was left open (I'm assuming to air out the smell) and the AC was on. I shut the AC off since we were cold and just left the window open. That night we were warm again so we kicked the AC back on and I realized where the smell was coming from. The AC until was kicking out a nasty mold smell. I was somewhat worried about inhaling it all night as I slept. Definitely would say they need to clean out the AC units. read more

People that work here are like in another dimension. I walked into the hotel carrying my dog and checked in. The very next day they tried to say we owed $150 for not declaring my pet but then quickly said never mind we saw you with your pet when you checked in. Why say something if its not a issue. Breakfast is descent they serve fruit, cereal, waffles, pastries, oj, and coffee. My dog said give two stars because it is definitely not pet friendly however it is only $15 for pets. I booked the hotel for 2 rooms/2 nights (4/10-11/2020) on 3/5/2020 for our Easter vacation before the COVID-19 lockdown, and I cancelled the reservation on 3/14/2020 right after the lockdown began. I made the reservation through the travel website Agoda without realizing that the so called "deal" I made was non-refundable, and my credit card was charged ($343.52) right away. I contacted Agoda after I made the cancellation online and they were responsive and got my refund from two other reservations I made for the same trip (one in Phoenix and one in Sedona). However, they didn't get a positive response from Super 8 Wyndham Flagstaff. I also wrote several e-mails directly to Super 8 and got no response at all. I've made many hotel reservations before and they all can be cancelled 24 h before scheduled check-in time. That's why I didn't pay attention to their fine print and cancelled my reservation right away without checking. I think the non-refundable policy is unreasonable since no one should be charged for services that he/she didn't receive, not to say that my cancellation was due to the unforeseeable COVID-19 pandemic. Super 8 Wyndham may be a fine hotel (I chose it based on good reviews), but its irresponsible and insensitive reaction to its customers are despicable. read more

Cheap, clean, and taking covid precautions seriously. The parking lot is pretty dark at night. Took off a star because housekeeping woke up everyone on my floor pretty early. I appreciate keeping clean especially during these troubled times, but them knocking on doors and angry people complaining with the staff in the morning wasn't a good start to the day. read more

LOVED this hotel. I am so surprised by the negative reviews. This hotel looks nicer than the standard Super 8 motels with faux stones, the mountains in the background, a big nicely blacktopped parking lot and a clean lobby. Check in was a breeze. We have a dog so they added the $15 pet fee and put us right by the door no problem. We also got the wheelchair accessible room so the bathroom was spacious. The room was very nice with new appliances, wood furniture, a tiled tub, stone sink, etc. I was extremely impressed. Breakfast was cereal, donuts, coffee, juice, toast, waffles, oatmeal, etc. Overall I would definitely stay here again. It is 4 miles from the cute downtown Flagstaff area, right off the highway and right next to a gas station. Perfect. read more

Almost all the hotels in Flagstaff have some sort of train noise, which neither myself nor the bf knew before booking our stay here on Friday and Saturday nights. The train horns are extremely loud, and can be heard all throughout the town. This kept us up at night, but certainly wasn't the worst part of our stay. The people next to us were super loud for a while on Friday night, and we needed to be up early on Saturday for our hike at the Grand Canyon. This still wasn't the worst part of our stay. We asked the front desk what was a good local hangout (not a chain restaurant), and she mentioned Ruby Tuesday's (wtf?) Saturday night, we went to dinner and came home looking forward to taking a nice hot shower. There was NO hot water at 10:00 at night on Saturday. Bf called the front desk, they apologized and said it was a "rough night" and that the hot water would be turned back on in a half hour. She also said this was a common occurence. I have never heard of there being no hot water at a hotel, and I've stayed quite a few places. The hot water did return about 40 minutes later, but we were in bed by 11 (having been up at 5:30 that morning) which was not when we wanted to be asleep by. In addition, there was some sort of mechanical banging, in addition to the train horns that awoke us most of the night. The manager did waive the charges for our room that night, but I still wouldn't choose to stay here or recommend someone else staying here for a night. read more

I knew something was wrong when the lobby was loaded with people waiting to check in at the front desk. It took my husband about twenty minutes to get to the front of the line. Except they weren't all there for check in--they were complaining guests. At least three separate guests with different problems: smoke smell, roaches, people already in their room, etc. Upon our check in, trouble ensued for us, too: --Didn't get assigned first floor as promised over the phone reservation (baby and a toddler with pack n plays and loads of stuff to haul around) --room smelled of smoke and mildew --lots of stairs on second floor--horrible unloading, car not nearby We demanded a refund and stayed at a non-chain hotel further down the road. UPDATE: just noticed our credit card was charged for the full amount even though we left immediately! Will be contesting the charges. read more
