    For a 2-day stay we also decided to bring our pets (2 dogs), and Super 8 was the best choice. There wasn't too much not to like. Granted, it was a Super 8 so a swimming pool, a workout or computer room was not part of the equation. I could hear both upstairs guests and those in the nearby lobby but it wasn't cause for alarm. But having a room that included 2 queen sized beds, a bunk bed combo and pets included (for an additional pet fee) was cool. Walking the pets outside after midnight was relatively safe and I there were poop bags available that left the grounds also cleaner than I originally expected. The parking, free breakfast and the room itself were all pretty decent too. Located near main roads and places to eat, it was an ideal situation for us. Reccomend!

    Cheap enough room for an unexpected overnight stay in Flagstaff. Eva at front desk was friendly, helpful, & courteous at check in. Room & bathroom were reasonably clean. Bed slept well and shower was hot. While complimentary breakfast was a bit sparse on offerings, the usual players were on hand: coffee, hot & cold cereals, donuts, toast, fruit, yogurt, waffle fixin's. Housekeeping staff were friendly when I interacted with them the next day. I'd gladly stay here again.

    Only giving this place 1 star 1 star for all the friendly front desk workers/comfy beds/ the somewhat breakfast choices that they have. They lose 1 star for my wallet being stolen on December 5, 2022 and I remember what day it was because I didn't have my wallet while I was in the ER for a D&C. Also someone tried to use my cards at the mall on December 20th, 2022 and was trying to spend $600 at 1 store. The day after my wallet went missing I asked the front to check the hotel cameras around 6:00am - 6:15am because my son and I were at breakfast. The "manager" said that there cameras doesn't show anyone going into my room but just me and my toddler. I kid you not when I say I dumped all of my trash that was in trash bags onto the title to look for my wallet and still didn't find it. They lose another star because when my husband and I tore apart the whole room looking for my wallet we found. Dirty underwear and socks under 1 bed. And a little girls purse and wallet that had $17.55 cents in it. We went to the police station and dropped it off since it had a Identification card with the address on it. They lose another star because when my husband and I came back to the hotel on February 11, 2023 I checked in and the lady at the front desk said "Oh I think this is yours!" Guess what it was my wallet. She said that it was "FOUND" near the dumpster nobody must of seen it because of all the snow. The day it went missing there was no snow on the ground. All of my other cards were in there just not my bank cards. On February 15th I was getting my son ready and picking up my room when the maids knocked on my door and asked if I wanted service today and I told her yes please give me until 10:15am and I'll be gone. Before leaving the room I had all of our trash tied up in a trash bag. All of the bedding had been removed off of the beds and I vacuumed the floor with my personal mini vacuum. I also cleaned the bathroom to the best of my ability. I came back around 2:33pm and my room wasn't finished being cleaned. I said ok no problem so I drove around and came back 15mins later. And when I did the maid told me sorry for taking so long in your room it was really dirty. When I asked how so when I always pre-clean before you guys get in there? She just gave me a blank stare and left. I get back into my room and my toddler finds both of my missing bank cards that were in my wallet. We ended stay here until March 1 since our apartment was FINALLY ready. I refused room service after that but I would leave my trash outside along with the dirt towels and bedding in a trash bag and I would call the front desk asking for new ones. They should lose another star but I can't take away from the nice front desk workers besides the manger. On the night of February 16, 2023 around 8pm. I hit my ankle against the bed because the metal was sticking out. I went to the front desk and they gave me a bag of ice and told me that they will have someone come by tomorrow morning to fix it. (Picture is posted). They fixed it by wrapping it in duck tape. On February 24, 2023 it was sunny outside and my husband asked the manger if we could use there shovel to dig our other car out and she said " Sorry we don't have 1" So we're outside trying to move the snow when we see a maintenance guy with a snow shovel and asked if we could use it and he said "Sorry we're not allowed to let guest use them". So we left in our other car trying to find a snow shovel and no one sells them anymore. Pretty sure a couple of people are reading this and are like you know it snows so why didn't you have one. We did have one but it broke the day before. We come back to the hotel at 6:51pm to see the whole parking lot cleared of snow even the 3 cars that NEVER move had no snow in front of it. But my car did. (Picture). Honestly so glad to be done with Super 8. I am really going to miss the nice and friendly ladies that work up at the front and the super nice maintenance guys.

    Poor customer service and the front desk staff was rude. This will definitely make me choose other hotels over anything Wyndham.

    I will stay again. It has a good bed, clean room, fridge, microwave and serves breakfast. Check-in was easy. Got a great deal on the room.

From the main hallway- I was a bit surprised by an abundance of maid carts and extension cords for the vacuums strung out all over the floor. I saw this as a major liability of a guest were to trip over a cord. The hotel does not have an elevator, which could pose an issue for some guests. This did not bother us though. Our room was clean, and updated. I was very impressed by how nice of a room it was considering the low price we paid. I loved that there was a 24 hour gym, sauna, large hot tub and pool on the property. All in all, I feel that this hotel was well worth it for the price. We would definitely book another room here in the future.

It's a downright rip off. $40 EXTRA for an $80 room, that's a 50% premium just because I have a dog. I asked what the outrageous fee was for and they could not give me an answer other than 'extra cleaning' which we all know is total BS. Housekeeping does absolutely nothing different because there was a pet in the room. Policies like this are just a blatant rip off. Anyways we went up the street to Days Inn where they don't charge exorbitant pet fees.

    Blue, the front desk associate, has some of the worst communication skills I've seen in customer…read moreservice. He is extremely hostile and quick to raise his voice to yell at customers. He seems mentally unbalanced and is not a good face for the business. I made a reservation online and arrived with a small camper in tow. Blue immediately assured me that it wouldn't be possible for me to park anywhere on the premises, though I'd already paid to stay the night. When I asked "surely you aren't that busy, the parking lot has many open spaces", he raised his voice to yell at me that as a policy they do not accept oversized vehicles and I needed to find somewhere else to stay. I am a young woman traveling alone and grown men yelling at me is scary, so I left the premises to find another hotel to stay at. I called the agency I booked the hotel through to cancel the reservation. Blue reassured them on the phone that he can't do a refund because one guest can only take up 2 parking spaces. My car and camper can detach and take up exactly 2 spaces. This detail would have been helpful to hear initially instead of being yelled at and shooed away so I could resolve the situation. Because I booked another hotel room at Blue's insistence, and then he refused me a refund. I returned to the hotel to clarify with Blue that I would have liked to know the bit about being able to take up 2 parking spots because I could have fixed the problem and stayed there instead of paying for 2 hotels, but he started raising his voice at me, telling me the blatant lie that he "was trying to tell me that, but I wouldn't listen", and continued to scream at me to get off his property. This was two items they charged an extra $50 for. The "fan" was supposed to cool the room after 30 minutes but blew hot air out no matter what setting. This demonstrated lack of any oversight or care that a room in such deplorable conditions was even offered to a paying guest. I demanded my money back or that they make it right. We paid for a 6 night stay. The next room they moved us to was much better. The microwave was clean and the fridge worked. Turned on the "fan" and the room cooled to near freezing. We stayed our 6 nights. I believe this place has a long term stay area were there are sketchy people that I see holding signs on street corners. And I firmly believe they have substandard conditions there because they claimed their air conditioning was broken. Maybe in that one building but no fan will ever cool a room to near freezing. That's air conditioning. I believe they have a guest section where everything works and then a long term stay where they could care less that anything works. The location is convenient to a highway, Walmart, fast food and restaurants. Parking is plentiful. After a certain time you must speak to a kiosk with someone on video as the front desk is installed.

So when we had to travel to Flagstaff again for some appointments at the end of Feb this year, we figured things would be same. We had booked through Priceline a queen room in a smoking room as we vape. When we checked in, the woman was very nice and check in was fine. Our room however was not good. It was 2 double beds. One of the lights didn't work. The lights that did work had two different light shades. There was something very sticky dropped on the floor that hot water couldn't even get off the floor. One of the lamp shades was broken. The TV got maybe 10 tv channels. There was a dirty crusty washcloth hanging on the shower curtain bar. The beds were pretty hard. The biggest downfall of the room was how hot the room was. When we checked in, it was really warm, so we pushed the ancient (falling off the wall) thermostat all the way to cool and turned on the fan. Instead of cooling the room, it got to over 90 degrees. We woke up at 4 am dying in the heat. We had to open the door and let the cold air in to cool off the room. We were not able to sleep after. At checkout, you don't actually check out with a real person, it's a kiosk with someone across the world. It is so impersonation. I believe since Motel 6 has been acquired by Oyo, they have gone downhill. Also, look into the air vent. Ours shows the filter had not been changed since November 2024.
