A really solid local dumpling spot in a small plaza with lots of parking! The dan dan noodles were the highlight of the menu - super flavorful and portion is enough to share for 2 people. The only thing we're dead set on getting again. Their mini-pan fried pork buns could use more soup inside, while their spicy wontons were super bland. Their XLB dumplings are pretty standard otherwise. Avoid their drinks here, we got a lychee juice and also had iced water, and both drinks tasted like the dishwasher. Would come back just for those noodles though!

I ordered the mushroom and chinese spinach bao for lunch at work yesterday. When I tried them in the office I thought the bao were just okay, and they didn't seem to have much of a flavor on their own until dunked in the soy sauce I was given on the side. They also gave me a side container of spicy sauce which was unexpectedly EXTREMELY spicy. However the next day I reheated them in the microwave and I actually thought they were quite good. So I'm not exactly sure what happened because they were delivered warm so it wasn't just the temperature. But I think microwaving them actually like released some oil in the filling or something idk. The menu does seem to have plenty of vegan options, but the labelling is a bit confusing. I'm pretty sure many of the items labelled vegetarian on their physical menu are actually also vegan. Also the items they labelled as vegetarian/vegan on the work lunch ordering service we use (waiter.com) is different than the labelling on the photos of the restaurant menu I've seen.

This is one of my favorite place to stop by when I am in the area in Fremont. This is a really authentic restaurant that is serving some really good Chinese Sichuan food. . I got to try out the steamed buns filled with pork and shrimp inside and chives. It was really good and fresh and I do love the dough. .

It's legit being super bao. Their BAO is a-ok!!! I heard the braised pork BAO, very fresh and soft buns and the meat is very flavorful. Hot and sour soup - a little overwhelmed with sesame oil but the flavor is good. Scallion dry noodles - I actually didn't expect it to be good since it's the green onion is not diced but covered with green onion. But then it turned out very flavorful. Only problem: way too much oil. But I still want to order it next time. Braised beef noodle - legit. Soup taste excellent, noodle texture is great, beef stew very tender. Pan fried buns - also very good. I mean this place really is super bao!

omg I thought i left a review here but I guess i haven't! This is my FAVORITE chinese place in south bay! The menu is extensive and everything is baseline good or great - portions are generous and food tastes good!! I love the zucchini egg bao ( get it pan fried ) and salt and pepper tofu - the salt and pepper tofu is well flavored and not oily. Their sweet and sour crispy eggplant or spicy eggplant is SOO GOOD a definite must try here Love their egg fried rice too, very balanced. Love the chow fun. Also have tried honey walnut shrimp, fish filet in chili oil, dan dan noodles - everything here is good you can't go wrong. Been here a handful of times this year ! Def recommend to the locals and will be returning for sure!

This location has seen many Chinese restaurants. I felt like been here before, but not this reincarnation. Yet another comfort-food chained Chinese eatery. General quality was quite good. Make sure you order few varieties of steamed bao (not xiao long bao). As for other dishes, follow your heart and they probably won't disappoint. But not memorable either. After all, the aim is comfort food. I do recommend Sour and Hot soup. Although a staple for many, their version is quite good.

This was my second time eating Super Bao this month, and it was just as delicious as the first! I got takeout this time around for myself and friends, and we tried five new dishes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came in generous portions. The sauces packed a nice kick without overpowering the food and allowed the flavors to be the star still. My favorite dishes this round were the Mini Pork Soup Dumplings and the Spicy Hunan Style Stir Fried Beef. Everything was delicious, but those two were easily the stars. The staff is always quick, friendly, and efficient, which makes the experience even better. I was already a fan, but they have officially made regulars out of us. I know I'll be back soon!

I enjoyed our lunch here. Authentic Northern China style food that has good flavor and generous portions. We started with the cold cucumber salad, which was good. Crisp cucumber, woodear mushrooms. Flavorful and refreshing. We also had some spicy dan dan noodles, which wasn't too spicy, but still interesting (as in not bland). Enjoyed this quite a bit. The pan fried dumplings were good too, with a crisp-ish bottom and good soup inside. Solid and pleasing overall. Would come back again and love to try more dishes.

One of my favorite dumpling places in the South Bay! The food comes out quick and the staff is really nice. I also see a lot of takeout orders as well. My favorite dishes are the XLB and the fried eggplant.

We used to come here for takeouts when they were Dumpling Garden. We moved away but we're in the area earlier today. I bookmarked Super Bao a while ago when I was searching for "Hot and New Restaurants" in Yelp, and finally had a chance to give it a try. The interior looked pretty much the same as Dumpling Garden. The menu was new. Now there're more buns vs dumplings. The two of us shared 3 things. The food came out very quickly. The cucumber salad with tofu skin was light and fresh. Could use a bit more seasonings, but it was still good. It came with some wood ear, which I liked, as well. The dan dan noodle was hot and flavorful; the noodles had a nice chew. Portion size was good. The mini pan-fried pork buns were piping hot when they came out. Even though they're small, there was still quite a bit of juice inside. It would be even better if the bottom of the buns was more crispy. Service was friendly and efficient. Price was reasonable. A solid Chinese place for a quick meal. Would love to come back again to try other items on the menu when we're in the area.

I stopped by while I was on the way home from work - it was right before dinner time so I was the only one in there. I could see the ladies working on the dough from the transparent glass. I ordered the mini pan fried buns. It's more like XLB (mini soup dumpling) but panfried, so I think the translation is a bit misleading. They didn't lie and it's technically not a mis-translation, I was just thinking of a thicker dough type when it says pan fried bun. I was quoted 15 min. The actual wait was around 20 min, but it made sense Cuhs they gotta warm up the kitchen. The flavor was just okay. I like that it's still soupy. I also love the hot sauce that they included on the side. I'll be back to try their other stuff.

Loved this restaurant! My son and I came in for a quick lunch: soup dumplings, string beans and garlic noodles. Service was fast and everything was tasty! I would totally go back if I was in the area.

Pretty decent place. Not too great, but not bad either. There's not a lot of Chinese places in this area so it's good that it exists.
