Korean Chicken Sandwich and Loaded Fries

This is a most def go to spot! It's a place where not only is the food amazing every time; but the guest service pairs well. Enjoying the seating outdoors, where you're still being checked on and inquiring about refills is a very high bar to find these days post-covid! This place is a place to be appreciated in Huntsville!

If chicken isn't your thing then this isn't your place. If you are vegetarian, this really isn't your place. If you do like chicken, now this IS your place. The hand breaded strips are the star here - you can order them in any quantity. You can order fresh fries, fresh made onion rings, fresh made fried pickles and/or house made chips. You can't go wrong with any of these. There are also grilled strips available - marinated and juicy, these are my go-to. Last visit I ordered three strips and took 1 1/2 home - they're pretty large. There are several sauces available too, including a house sauce and a hot Nashville sauce. Both are excellent. Finally, don't miss the frozen custard. Once again, made fresh in house, you have your choice of chocolate, vanilla and the flavor of the day - today is was raspberry which was the bomb. This is definitely not the place to come if you're on a diet, but if you're splurging, Super Chix is definitely worth a "fry". (It's ok - go ahead and groan. I couldn't resist!)

In town visiting my daughter who has relocated to the Huntsville area. She is a die hard Raisin Canes lover. And has missed that type of food since relocating. We found Super Chix on Yelp. Her second love to chicken strips is cheese fries so Super Chix seemed like the perfect place!! Let me tell you it was truly the perfect place!!! I ordered the chicken slider. The Hawaiian Rolls were fluffier than clouds! And the garlic Aioli was so flavorful. My daughter who hates mayo ended up taking half my sandwich!!! We got a large order of loaded fries. They were huge!! You better plan on sharing! The fries appear to be hand cut, as they have large bags of potatoes sitting around. They are thin like a shoestring fry. They were so crispy and smothered in cheese and bacon. They were generous with the toppings. The custards looked so good. But was to full to try this visit. But we have now found where to get our chicken fix in Huntsville!!! The staff was as nice and helpful as it was our first visit and we we're trying to figure out what to order. Food came quickly. It was hot and fresh. Do miss out on the place. You will regret it!

ONE WORD: CRISPY AVOCADO!!! (Okay, that's two words lol) Let me tell you about my experience! So I first stumbled across Super Chix a couple of months ago. I was honestly not impressed but decided to give them a third chance and I can definitely tell that they are under new management or something because I noticed many changes. Fast forward a couple of months, I absolutely LOVE this place. Every time I order, I do order ahead because I'm not too comfortable with the crowd of people who are dining in. I do think that there are way too many parties(groups) dining in with their masks off at one time but I do notice it is always very organized. I HAVE to give credit to the manager(I assume due to his different color shirt) and the employees who are on standby all the time, to assist those dining in or those who order take out so you can be catered to and not have to wait for the cashier taking the other people's order. I really love the service and how polite everyone is. I've ordered at least 7 different meals and I truly enjoyed eating all of them. If you couldn't already tell, the Crispy Avocado is my fav and I've never seen anything like it. The garlic aioli is A1!! I also love all of their salads!! You may think the portions are small but they really aren't. When you empty it into a bowl, you really see how much you're getting. HAVE A SWEET TOOTH?? Try the custard!!! I'm obsessed with the vanilla custard with Oreo toppings but I must say, it's delicious. In summary, I will continue to come back because I love the food and the service! Thank you Super Chix!!

Gonna bring my review up to a 5 - Super Chix has become a favorite of ours in the time since they've opened. Their curbside pickup service is excellent. The food is always fresh, hot, and ready on time. The employees have been courteous, friendly, and cheerful, even when they had to come out in the rain to bring our food to us once. The online ordering system is easy to use, too. We always get tenders and fries, with a very occasional custard or shake as a treat. The tenders are succulent, juicy, and large. My tenders haven't ever been greasy like they were on our very first visit in our many more recent visits, and I've grown to enjoy / appreciate the slightly sweeter breading on them. My small complaint over the fries frequently containing too many smaller fry pieces still stands, but it's a relatively minor annoyance. Serving sizes are ample on the normal portion! Weird/random bonus points: for whatever reason, their soda is AWESOME. It's standard Pepsi products (my preference), but something about the ratios is just...really good. Ya know the stereotype about McDonald's having the best Coke? It's like that. The custard is rich and silky and the milkshakes are super creamy. I suppose the prices are a bit high when compared to somewhat similar tenders and chicken sandwich spots, but I ultimately feel that the quality of the food and excellent service makes it a more than worthy trade. The inside of the restaurant, back when we were eating inside, was always clean. There's not a TON of seating, but enough to be comfortable if they're not slammed. All in all, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a clean, fast-casual, chicken-centric experience.

I have drove past this spot so many times and I have been anticipating on trying it out and I finally got the opportunity to try it. I must say that the restaurant was really clean and the service was pretty good. The only reason why I am rating it the way I am is because I simply was not impressed by the food personally. I tried the Nashville (not so hot) chicken lol. It wasn't the typical "Nashville hot" level that I was expecting, and I am pretty much a wimp when it comes to hot foods. The server told me that it was the hottest thing on the menu, so for everyone that likes things with a little bit of a kick this is the sandwich for you! I loved how it was extremely juicy and very flavorful though.. the fries on the other hand were a bit much. I ordered the Cajun fries and they filled a very generous portion of fries in my Togo bag and they were just extremely salty and greasy. I just ended up throwing them away truthfully. But overall I'm finally glad I got to experience this place.

The restaurant and food was ok. It wasn't exactly spectacular but that's only because I'm not much of a chicken finger chicken sandwich kind of girl though. My husband said The salad was great he actually ordered another to go. I got the pastrami sandwich because I really like pastrami. Overall the service and ambiance was pretty good. I'm excited about this new restaurant. I walked in last week and they are in the final stages to their grand opening. I look forward to the chicken sandwiches, hand-spun shakes, and custard. I'll update my review after they open. 10/09/19 Update: They opened last Friday and I was able to visit today for lunch. I arrived early to beat the crowd and that was a smart move as the restaurant filled up quickly. I ordered three fried chicken fingers and cajun fries. The food came to the table after a little wait; the wait wasn't quick and it wasn't slow. The food was very hot and obviously just came from the fryer. The chicken tenders were fat, juicy, and very fresh. The fries were plentiful and had the perfect amount of cajun seasoning. The restaurant offers 7 different sauces. I tried the honey mustard and Super Chix Signature Sauce. I liked the Signature Sauce the best. I'm not sure what is in it, but it was very good. My ticket for the tenders, fries, and a drink was $11.23 before tip.

I decided to give this place two chances before I gave my review. Now I want to say the customer service here is outstanding. What an exceptional group of servers handling and interacting with customers from ordering and making sure the food was okay. On my first stop, I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Now I'm a huge fan of Nashville spicy hot chicken sandwiches and I must say say I was not too impressed with the sandwich itself. It felt like I was biting through air and there was no crunch biting into the sandwich. It was just bland to me. My last stop by I got the chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders look enticing but they really just didn't hit for me. The fries were good but I suggest asking for the seasonings on the side. Now I do have to give credit for how delicious the sauces are and their sweet tea. I would recommend this place for a friend to at least stop by and try.

We came here for lunch today. This was my first go at it. I accidentally ordered a Buffalo chicken salad instead of the sandwich. I wasn't sad about it. The salad was huge and delicious. I also got a side of rosemary pepper fries. I think they needed more seasoning. Next time I will actually get the sandwich and loaded fries. I also want to try their ice cream. It looked delicious.

My wife and I visited Super Chix for a to go dinner on a recent trip to Huntsville. We were appreciative of the Covid protocols in place including having their staff wear face masks and having available outdoor seating. This is essentially a fast food chicken sandwich and shake restaurant. I ordered the Nashville Hot Sandwich and Fried Pickles. The sandwich was ok but the chicken was a little on the mushy side. The pickles did have a nice tang but the breading was soggy. The French fries were my favorite part of the meal. Overall, the food was average and I would prefer to go to Chic-Fil-A or PDQ instead.

My wife and I ventured in once and now have returned again and again. Two great chicken sandwiches, tons of fries and a drink each for about $25. The chicken sandwiches, both the grilled and breaded, are phenomenal and the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich even more so. Highly recommend! read more

No complaints. The chicken and fries always come out hot and I love the variety of sauces. Every sauce is delicious so make sure you get them all! And its nice that the sauce is not an extra cost. I also enjoyed the salad (but don't expect it to be healthy)! The serving of fries is large so it can be shared between two people. read more

Great addition to Huntsville! I absolutely love the grilled chicken. I lean more towards the healthier side of menus (with the exception of the AMAZING custard at Super Chix) but my husband on the other hand (chicken sandwich FANATIC) says their fried chicken sandwhiches are amazing! Crispy, just the right thickness, amazing. Let's talk fries and sauce. Their fries are crispy, delicious, and the different varieties of sauce (honey mustard always being my favorite) just makes the whole meal even more special and memorable. I have tried all their housemade sauces and am very impressed! CUSTARD! Ohhhh so so good! Creamy and thicker than your traditional icecream. My husband and I had the strawberry cheesecake flavor (of the day) and it was scrumptious. We had a very pleased experience when we dined in (this was before quarintine time) Lastly, I would like to put my experience for the neighborhood delivery that they did. This was late March, and a very new process for them (offering delivery to neighborhood subdivisions during Covid-19), so I won't be too hard. My husband and I ordered two chicken sandwhiches that came with chips, and two tubs of custard, one being vanilla, other was suppose to be mint chocolate chip. I have to say I was a bit disappointed that they did not offer fries, but that is understandable to keep the high quality of their food (the fries probably would have been mushy). We also did not get our mint chocolate chip custard. The chicken sandwhiches were still just as good if you were to dine in, but those chips did not hit the spot unfortunately! Better luck next time? Overall, 5 stars. Chicken is great, custard is great. Everything on the menu rocks! Thanks! read more

We gave Super Chix a try. We tried the Simple fried 2 each, a Simple grilled, a House Salad with grilled chicken, small fry, large fry and Key Lime Pie. The Simple fried was tasty. The Simple grilled was dry. The House Salad had grilled chicken that was on the dry side. Each Simple is $6, salad $10, large fry $4.50, Key Lime Pie $6 and I should have bought two!!! Total bill was over $45. My expectations were high considering the Simple is $6. The fries are not crispy. They are more on the soft side. The large is enough for two adults or one teenager. Key Lime Pie was off the chart! We will return again to try something else on the menu and leave room for the awesome custard. Yum. read more

Seriously some of the best chicken fingers in town. Always hot and fresh and they have so many sauces to try. You can even customize your fries to your liking. I haven't yet tried their shakes or custard but I hear they are great too. Definitely worth a stop! read more

Wonderful food. The price is a little high, but easily the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Sandwich and Rosemary Pepper fries. Really delicious, but not for snowflakes, this sandwich satisfied my love for spicy food, and the fries, oh the fries were perfect (this is the small order). This is a four napkin sandwich, if you don't care for a lot of sauce, order something else. Chik Fil'a, you have been SCHOOLED! Just opened today and service was fine. Food was good but I give them a 3 star because a sandwich, drink and fries is almost $14 per person. I think it's high. My chicken sandwich was over sauces that made it over powering and sloppy. Fries were real good. Next time I might order fingers. read more

This is a great chicken sandwich! I describe it to people as the Five Guys of Chicken sandwiches. Very juicy and tender piece of chicken, nicely seasoned and battered, and fried to perfection. The fries are not my favorite, but they are still very good. I'm just saying they aren't the best fries I've ever had, but still great tasting fries with superb texture. Will have to come back next time I'm in the area to try the custard. read more

The establishment is very clean, new. Staff is very nice, the amount of noise makes ordering difficult and impossible to have any normal conversation. Recomend ordering to go. I hope grubhub adds this establishment. The deluxe was very good. The loaded fries was ok. The crispy avocado was not good the breading was so salty it made the sandwich very discusting super salty flavor, dont recommend it. The custard was all very delicious super creamy. read more

The food was pretty good. However, the service was subpar. They appeared to be young kids and their friends were visiting them at work. There was a fidget toy sitting on the counter and it was unclear who it belonged to but it looked messy. The ambience was pretty nice but we got the food for take out. read more

Wanted to try something new. My husband loved it! He said he prefers their chicken sandwich over Chick-fil-a which is huge for him because he could live off of them! Perfect amount of crispy! It was packed and I had to wait for everyone to get done eating and move and seemed like people were racing to tables to ask if they were leaving to claim the table. That's my only complaint. We got it to go so disclaimer! Lol it's was good!!! If you get the fries get them with Cajun seasoning- reminds me of five guys Cajun fries. Sooooo good! But the chicken sandwiches are kinda basic. Well not basic but nothing fancy. Still very good though! They have several sauces and the option for breaded and grilled, so you can customize your sandwich to your liking. High recommend if you want a break from Chick-fil-A and Zaxbys. read more

Chick-Fil-A who??? I've been here twice now and had an exceptional experience both times. The portions are more than enough food, especially for the price. This place is awesome! Quick service. Good food. Clean. Wife got the simple chicken sandwich. She loved it with the traditional sauce and rosemary pepper fries. I got the nashville hot. It was really good. Not too spicy but just enough for a good balance. Loaded Cajun fries are awesome! I might go with the regular loaded fries next time. Just to get a different experience. Overall, awesome! Been here for 20+ years And am glad to finally have a place like this in Huntsville. read more

This is a review for their catering department, which we just used for our daughter's wedding last weekend. The food and service were both excellent. Good alternative to Popeyes a d Chick-Fil-A. Nashville hot sauce is tasty as well as the Korean fried chicken sandwich. Fried pickles I didn't care for. The frozen custards are delicious! I'm gonna have to stop by again before fly back to Seattle. read more

Food was good and service was quick. The large fry is a big portion worth sharing if there's two of you. Atmosphere was a little noisy with others carrying on conversations. Staff was helpful. The chicken tenders were large and had good flavor. The breading comes loose as you're eating, so grab a few extra napkins to be on the safe side. I'll be back when passing thru Hville to try some of the other things on the menu. read more

My daughter and I came here on a special date. It was our first time to try Super Chix. Our experience was fantastic. They had great customer service and treated us well. My daughter loved the sauce choices and thought they were delicious. I personally had the Korean BBQ sandwich which was AMAZING. I also had a side of fried pickles which were quite tasty. Nothing really stood out. They have a good selection of sauces for their tenders. The tenders were moist and juicy. The breading was dark, maybe cooked too long or oil is needing to be changed. I ordered the loaded fries with cajun seasoning, but did not taste it. They put the fries in a boat and I guess if it's a large they over flow it. The problem it that they put all the toppings on the fries that were in the boat, so the overflow had next to nothing. Ordered a mini custard and the flavor was good but not worth $3.50. Never a fan of an À la cart menu. $27 just for my wife and I. A large loaded fry is not worth 6.50. I was not wowed. I tried it, but nothing is saying man I need to go back or you need to try this. But this first visit did not at all live up to the hype or my expectations. I came on a Thursday about three weeks ago after my annual doctor's visit. It was around 11:15 when I arrived. Note this restaurant is in the bustling Providence area. It's an attractive and somewhat upscale shopping and dining destination and parking can be a bit of a challenge. I found the parking lot of a nearby hotel that had ample spots, so I took one of those and marched over. It did look like there was a parking garage not too far away either. Anyway, the restaurant was about 1/3 full when I arrived. The hostess asked if it was just me, which I confirmed. She asked if I was okay to sit at the bar. My preference would honestly have been a table or booth, even a two top, but I told her whatever was easiest for her was okay with me, and so to the bar I went. The bartender took my order and brought my food and mostly left me alone, which was also more my preference. He was nice enough in our interactions and food was served in a timely manner. After I ordered is when things started to go downhill. First, I asked a waitress where the restroom was and set off for a visit. Despite it being earlyish in the morning, one stall was already filthy enough I didn't want to use it, and the other one was out of toilet paper. Fortunately I noticed before using it! I came back to my seat and was served water in a carafe. It wasn't particularly cold but the bigger problem than that was that it smelled like dirty dishwater when I poured it in my cup. Not sure if my glass was still dirty or the water itself was, but suffice to say, it wasn't pleasant. Next, my food arrived. I ordered the breakfast burrito with a side of fries. Others have commented negatively on the pricing here, but my experience was slightly different. I ultimately wound up being charged for just the entree. The description for the burrito does not indicate it comes with a side. I assumed I'd pay for the burrito + side, which was going to be ~$25. THAT is a price tag I'd say is too high, but I was ultimately charged for just the entree, which was ~$16. I still think that's a bit much for the quality and size of the food I was served, but I can see how it would be acceptable under better conditions. That said, I'm not sure if the burrito does come with a side that's included in the price OR if they just forgot to charge me for a side. Anyway...the food. The fries were the best part at exactly average. They looked pretty and were crispy enough. It was a pretty paltry serving even for the price I was charged; it would've been a VERY paltry serving at the $9 (!!!) a side of fries was listed as on their menu at time of visit. Ultimately though, my main grievance is with the burrito. It needed work in about every aspect. It was put together poorly, with almost all bites I took very uneven in terms of filling, and watery sauce dribbling out before I even took my first nibble. I did ask for no avocado, but even with that in mind, I thought the amount the burrito was filled was pretty disappointing - it was tiny and heavy on the tortilla. My first few bites were only of egg and a few bacon bits - no sign of cheese, tater tots, green onions, or chipotle aioli to be found. The eggs badly needed salt or really any flavoring at all. Eventually, several more bites in, I discovered some cheese and some tater tots, but even then, the flavor-meter was pitifully low -- idk how you make a tater tot not salty enough, but these surely weren't. For a while I was convinced that they'd put some sort of very strange glaze on the bacon because it started tasing oddly sweet (à la candied bacon), but I eventually could only come to the conclusion it was the very watery, very pale chipotle aioli I was tasting. I was expecting that to be slightly spicy and definitely thicker/more mayonnaise-y, but given the listed ingredients, that's the only thing it could've been unless something went very wrong in the kitchen and some other sauce was put on my burrito. The one slightly saving grace was the green salsa, which added heat, if not a ton of flavor, to the dish. I am both mad and sad to say that I have had Taco Bell breakfast burritos that beat this one by a country mile. I really like the design and interior of this place and the menu looks promising. The service was fine. People whose opinions on food I respect have lovely things to say about Loona's dishes. I can only assume/hope my first experience was a very odd one-off. I'd be willing to try again some time in the future, but for now, this was not at all what I was hoping for from a visit.

One server took my tray of food when I was done and another server offered to refill my drink. I went to the location in Madison and was helped by Jose behind the register who was such a top notch worker. I really appreciated his appreciation for his job which is hard to come across these days. Chicken strips were really good as well as the fries where perfectly cooked. My favorite part of the meal was the sauces, they have a whole row of pumps with 10-12 different sauces so I tried them all and they were incredible! Highly recommend! read more

Very nice and straight forward at the cash register.
