I ordered food to be delivered to my home from this place. I wanted some seafood. The lobster roll looked really good, so I ordered that and some seafood gumbo. The food was packaged well, and I was very impressed with the Lobster rolls. The delicious buttery roll was loaded with lobster. It came with seasoned fries and those were very good. The seafood boil hereeee! *chefs kiss* Absolutely delicious. I visited Bag O 'Crab while I was in the Galveston area and loved it! It's located in a strip mall so lots of free parking. There's plenty of seating, so we're immediately seated when we entered and had our food delivered pretty quickly. We ordered the seafood boil with snow crab, mussels and shrimp as the protein with the Louisiana cajun flavor in the spicy level. The seafood was so fresh! I hadn't realized how long it had been since I had fresh, wild caught seafood until I visited here. Definitely one of my favorite experiences here in Galveston. This was my first visit to this city and this restaurant. I ordered the 3lb crayfish ,potatoes, 2 corns, and 4 sausages, which was written on a chart. I was disappointed to find crayfish so small that I could barely peel them, 2 potatoes a little larger than cherry tomatoes and 4 very thin slices of sausage and not sausage links. Came to this place to try out the boil in a bag with a coworker. We came from out of town, Midland, so we been wanting some fresh sea food. I ordered the boil with king crab, shrimp, mussels and corn. Medium heat and garlic butter. The crab, mussels and corn were out of this world but my shrimp was over cooked. My buddy ordered the boil with lobster, mussels, shrimp and corn. His lobster tail and shrimp were also over cooked. Couldn't get the meat out of the tail. So he was pretty disappointed. Came here for my husbands birthday based on a recommendation from Houston Bay Area Food Lovers group on fb! We LOVED it! The server was hilarious and so friendly, cracking jokes and making awesome recommendations. It's similar to LA Crawfish in that they do seasoned seafood in the bags but I'd say it's FAR better than that chain. They offer combos with crab, mussel, shrimp and even have a more extensive menu for those who don't want to get messy. The seafood was fresh and hot! They were cooked so well the crab easily came out of the shell. I like that they give you a pair of scissors and crackers to use to open up the crab. One thing is they have a cool kitty robot that brings you your food! Make sure to pet her!! We shared a combo 3 and added dungeness crab to our pack with the atomic sauce (which is NOT spicy, you choose your heat level. Simply refers to their Cajun spices, lemon pepper, buttery secret mix they put the food in!). That combo was more than enough with our 6 piece oysters on the half shell! Looking for a good place to eat Seafood I was personally disappointed with the food I ordered a shrimp and oyster sandwich. I asked for half and half of each and I was told no. So I bought one of both and brought the other half home. It was fried well but it lacked the wow factor in the taste I look for when I eat anything. Place is very tasty! The original cajun seasoning for the combo boil hits the spot. We've tried both medium and dynamite - dynamite was probably a little too much sweating and crying for us. Medium should be plenty of heat for many. Their cajun wings are also AMAZING (to my surprise). Fries and garlic noodles also great! Lobster roll not bad but with all the other menu items, I'd prob get something else. They also have excellent to-go bags that are insulated, not regular cheap white plastic bags. Ciara was an amazing server, as was Belle. Food was hot, fresh and all of Ciara's suggestion were on point. I came here last year and the snow crab and shrimp was great, this time I came for the crawfish and I was disappointed . The cook and size were great but very bland, zero flavor in the meat no juices in the head, had the flavor we got (Atomic) stuck to the meat would have been amazing.Not even the corn or potatoes held the flavor. The Cajun style and the lemon pepper were beautiful crunchy and tender delish! One of my companions said best ever and that one is a wing eating fool!
