I came back a few times since the new owners took over and I was impressed with the fact that they cleaned the place up but some of the other changes are not as pleasant. I thought the price was good initially, even though I noticed it's going up steadily (fills went from 15 to 17 in a matter of weeks but still a good deal). Each time I went they tried to talk me into a new full set which I eventually did but the next month they said it again and insisted my nails were lifting. I told the girl a few times that I had them done there a month ago and shouldn't need them so soon. She didn't seem to know English and didn't understand. I guess she was just giving me a stock spiel. She kept trying to file off my cuticles too and I kept telling her to be careful. Next visit I got the guy who kept pushing his dirty nails into the corner of mine instead of using a clean file. GROSS! Not to mention unsanitary! For some reason I kept giving them another chance but this is my last visit. This time he dunked my entire hand into one of those sponge polish removers that I used to buy at Walmart to remove my own polish at home. You know the type that slopped your old polish on your fingers up to the knuckle? I wonder how many hands have been dunked into this container? I'm thinking that's probably unsanitary too. We won't even get into the fact that when I walked in the first girl was sitting at her station picking at her toenails. I should have left right then. Yep, that was my last visit. FYI, they changed the name to the "New New Nail Salon" but the sign still reads "Cuticles" . I'm not surprised that it was empty today. I'm guessing the old regulars have noticed the same issues I saw. Nails had a nice shape but I don't need the digging with the dirty nails or the attitude I got when I resisted some of their methods. read more

I made an appointment about a week ago for a new UV Gel set and a pedi for my grandmother. The moment we walked in the workers instantly had an attitude. The woman who did my nails was in such a rush with everything that there were so many flaws and imperfections and there was only a total of 5 people including my grandmother and I. 3 days after getting them on I notice my middle finger was already lifting, then later that night it fell off. Next day my pointer finger and other middle finger came off. So I called to explain to her my sutuation. She interupts me telling me to hold on. She comes back on the phone saying she'll fix them. Mind you, the price for a new set, simple french was $80 + a $10 tip. I told her that they were all lifting and that I would like to get a new set but I dont want to pay another whole $80 and she started yelling at me "No! No set but I'll fix 3 nails." After being yelled at for 5 minutes I ended up hanging up. Now it's not even 2 weeks and all of them came off. I work as a waitress with 5-8 hr shifts everyday and always had nails, I would be able to go a month without a fill with no problem (other than needing a fill). Rude customer service, ridiculous pricing, and absolutely horrible nail service. They really should reconsider their attitude if they want to bring in customers. read more

Ok but nothing special. Had to wait about 15 minutes even though I had an appointment. Got the basic mani/pedi. Pedicure was fine, but she cut the nails too short on the manicure and didn't really shape them, just smoothed them. Price was about what I expected-$35 for the combo. I really love this place! I come here with my daughter all the time and I never have any complaints about this place; even when they're busy the wait time is not that long! The workers at this establishment usually try to make sure that the clients are happy with the quality of the services they're receiving. I needed a pretty tedious and extravagant nail art designed on my nails and they took their time doing it and did I mention that they were close to closing time and not once did they make me feel like they were in a rush to get home. I've been to several nail salons in the last few years and I "FINALLY" think that I've found my main nail salon to go to now & Thank Goodness for that!!! Yay!! read more

This is a clean place for manicures from what I see. Some artists don't understand some directions when it comes to your desired nail art but I find that showing then pictures of what you want works best. I love the fact that they massage your feet and make sure they are good for no extra charge, however lately they have become rude to the point you can't ask questions or ask them to redo a color for what ever reason. They were rude when I asked them to do my daughters nails the same as mine. They said too late I said no I mentioned this to you guys earlier. Also when I called the lady was rude as well as if they come first. I thought we (customers) are paying you for service. I enjoyed this place a lot but not anymore. They ripped me off too. I have been going to this nail salon for about 2 years and I have always loved it. However, they are again under new ownership and the managers are awesome. They speak to you, ask you questions, remember things you have told them and follow up on the progress. It gives the entire visit just a warm feeling. Susan and Chris are awesome. Out of all the salons I've been to this if for sure the worst. I had set an appointment originally for full set tips ANC or SNS (the powder) and regular pedi. I get in at the time of my appointment and they tell no I can't get both done I have to choose one bc it was an hour to closing I said ok. When I came in they started complaining telling me you want tips??? Fine. Here the colors and they gave me the chain for the sns colors. I was choosing my color when this rude lady came over and took it out of my hand. She said no you pick from here and gave me the gel colors but I didn't know it was gel so I picked my color and told her I'd like this one then I'm guessing the owner told her I wanted sns so she looked at me with a rude attitude and said why are you choosing from this you wanted sns you need to choose for here. She was blaming me for HER mistake. Then while she was doing my nails she was in such a hurry bc she wanted to leave. Let me tell you it was the worst manicure of my life. For a place called cuticles they didn't touch mine. She was barely holding my hand as if she was trying to avoid as much contact as possible. My cousin had gone in a week before me and had gotten the same thing I requested and they charged her 37$. Explain to me how I was charged 45$????? This place is very unprofessional and a total rip off. They need to learn to not be so rude. read more

Love this nail salon! I have been getting gel manicures and occasional pedicures there for 2 years. very friendly staff. Often crowded, but they do take appointments. I even had a massage there on a day when my shoulders were in terrible pain. Not a spa setting for a massage, but the massage on my shoulders and back was awesome! I was pain free after he was done. It's you standard nail salon. They offer the usual, manis, pedis, waxing, tips. Prices are about average, work is good. I especially like how they wax my eyebrows, perfect shaping, no matter who is doing them! It's a definite step-up from the previous nail salons that have graced that plaza. Alrighty y'all... here's the deal. when I walked in, there was a very potent funky smell (I'm 3 months pregnant ) as you can imagine that wasn't too thrilling . I got the crystal pedicure ($28) this included callous removal , hot towel, cuticle removal, "aroma therapy ", a massage, a leg scrub, nail trimming, and of course- polish. She used a new file a buffer and little pumice square (came out of its own plastic packaging) which I was genuinely thrilled about... however the other tools she used were metal tools, which just came from a little white bin, and i only saw her really just barely rinse the callous removing tool (sort of cheese grater type thing lol) which scheeved me out lmaooo. She didn't really remove all/most of my callous which was really my only goal in getting this pedicure but otherwise my skin feels a bit softer , the products seemed somewhat hydrating. The woman who did my pedicure was really sweet and quiet- but the rest of the staff seemed sort of rude (a man snapped at a customer for asking about pricing for fixing her nails, and told her to go elsewhere to where she got them done I was shook). Overall the polish came out cute , the sanitation was somewhat decent , and the odor was super unpleasant. The price seems fair but I wish it was just more through. read more

Very, very clean. Very nice staff. Almost no wait time. The ambiance is just awesome. The back where they do pedicures has a beautiful waterfall with serene surrounds and a video playing of beautiful scenery. All the pedicure chairs have built-in massagers. I definitely will be going back to this salon. For the prices they charge, you can't beat the atmosphere, the work they do and their professionalism. You can also buy a coffee at the Dunkin' Donuts a couple of doors down! Truly awesome! read more

Nice, somewhat relaxing environment with friendly staff that keep the smiles on their faces no matter what. Went with a friend for pedicures tonight and within a minute of sitting down and waiting for the ladies to come in to start on us, one of the foot baths started overflowing and flooding the back room! Two of them jumped up and ran in to stop the flood and clean it all up, never losing their smiles or upbeat moods. Once that was taken care of we were pampered and we were impressed with the overall cleanliness of the place and friendliness of everyone. We enjoyed the waterfall in the pedicure room, a nice exfoliating scrub and treated ourselves to a paraffin dip as well. We foolishly didn't ask or look at the prices prior to paying and we were both shocked at how inexpensive it was! I don't recall ever paying less than $30 for a standard pedi and we added paraffin as well and it was still under $30 each! It was a big step up from a mall nail salon, nicer than most of your typical strip mall salons and it was still cheaper than I recall ever paying anywhere for even less work. A little more exfoliation would have been nice but for the price, there is no way that I can complain. read more

Very nice staff but not clean. There was acrylic dust all over, the floor was dirty and the product buttles were dirty on the outside. One male employee was barefoot and another male employee had his dirty, bare feet up on top of a manicure station. Needless toto say, i will not go back. read more

Was just at Cuticles and was about 1/2 way through my pedicure when I realized that the woman was using someone else's "box" (buffer pad, brush) on my feet. It was a similar name, but wasn't mine. I told her that isn't my box and she smiled and said sorry, but continued using it. The owner was giving another customer a pedicure in the next chair and he told her that she pulled the wrong box and she continued on. He got up to look for my "box" and came back and said we couldn't find yours and handed the woman new stuff to use, however, she CONTINUED on with the other person's stuff. He also told her the woman whose stuff she was using on MY FEET was going to be pissed off??!! At this point she was done with the pedicure and the owner told me "at other salons they do not do what we do with the personalized boxes". I told him I didn't care what they do at other salons....this was gross. He took the other person's box and tossed it and told her she should have used the new stuff on me. I AM TOTALLY GROSSED OUT AND PAID $23 for that AWFUL experience. Great customer service.............I THINK NOT!!! Disgusted! read more
