(It was a simple ombré) They said yes, so I made the appointment. When I showed up, they said "Oh no, we can't do that". I guess when you make an appointment you have to explicitly say I WANT A DESIGN, otherwise you get a solid color. No one had communicated to me that what I was asking for was only achievable using dip powder. They also tried to tell me they only had time to do a pedicure (I'd booked both services). I said "I'm getting married TOMORROW. What do you suggest I do?" Which prompted another customer to run over and grill me about my wedding details. The lady who took care of me paid great attention to all the details. I really appreciated how much time she spent carefully removing the cuticles from my toes, and she did an excellent job applying the polish. The chairs were comfortable and had a relaxing massage option. You also get a warm shoulder wrap that smells like herbs. The salon itself looked clean. The pedicure was great, no complaints at all, but the manicure was not that good. First, the polish application was too thick (I think it was at least three layers of nail polish ), so it started lifting and peeling really quickly. Not a huge fan of that. Second, I was not very pleased with the cuticle removal process. Quite a bit was was left behind, so that part of the service felt a little rushed. For my friend, when she was getting her pedicure they accidentally used the wrong color on one of her feet, so they had to start the process all over again since the gel had already set. To their credit, they fixed it without complaint and they were very apologetic about it. For her manicure, she wanted acrylics, and it seemed like the first technician who started the set didn't really know how to do it, so she waited for another employee to be available and switched with her. Overall, the employees were all very nice, the prices are affordable and the place looks well kept. P.S. They do charge a 3% fee if paying with a credit card, but they also have a fee-free ATM inside. Also, they get very busy, so I would recommend making an appointment rather than walking in.
