Super good customer service. Very friendly staff. The person who was helping me was awesome. You get taken care of right as you walk in and greeted very warmly with a smile. Super good building. You really can't miss it. It's the perfect shade of pink and it literally stands out in the best possible way. I preordered and it was super simple. Parking was also super good. I found parking nearby easily, but I did notice when I came back there were no parking spots available. Definitely the time you go - matters. Of course, I can't forget the bagels! They were super good! The cream cheese was also super good. They have a nice selection and they all sounded so yummy! Hands down easily by far the best greatest tastiest bagel in Orange County POSSIBLY CALIFORNIA. been settled with Shirley's since I've lived here and it's been serviceable. Happened to stumble by this on a morning walk, no line Sunday morning around 9:30 and ordered some bagels. These things are big fluffy pillowy chewy JUST PERFECT! Got home and for lunch toasted one and made a turkey sandwich and it transported me back east where the bread just tastes better. These bagels are consistently fresh, with a texture that lands right where it should: crisp on the outside, soft and chewy inside. The flavor lineup is big, but everything I've tried has been dialed in. This place is just cool and has hangout vibes written all over it! Spacious for sure. The standout...no question, is the banana cookie shmear. It's ridiculous. Creamy, rich, and actually tastes like real banana, not that artificial candy flavor. You get little hits of vanilla wafer throughout that give it texture and make it feel more like a dessert spread than just a shmear. Great chewy bagels in such an adorable little pink shop. Very Newport. Sign up to pre order( highly recommended so you can have full selection otherwise it's a crap shoot). Preorders open up on Tuesdays for weekend pick ups. Makes it super quick and easy. When you arrive there is a friendly helper checking the line to see if you have a preorder or not. If not you will enter the store or if there is a line obviously wait. If you have a pre order they will go and grab it for you and you will be on your way rather quickly. Super nice friendly, helpful people. Now for the bagels- yummmm. May seem a little pricey but remember quality and what you're getting ( and location). For example you're not getting just any cream cheese, you can get banana cookie cream cheese which I highly recommend if you like the sweet side. Tastes like banana pudding! I came in Saturday morning around 9:30am and was really disappointed with the experience. When I walked in, there were stacks of bagels visible, but I was told they were completely sold out. The girl at the counter wasn't accommodating and didn't offer much of an apology, just a simple "we're sold out." I completely understand that popular spots sell out, especially since they are only open on weekends, but it would be helpful if pre-orders were mandatory or if there were clearer communication so customers aren't led to believe there's product available when it's already spoken for. Walking in excited for bagels only to be turned away was frustrating. Also, the bagels didn't look appetizing as I saw someone there eating them. I hope they consider improving the process so future customers have a better experience. read more

I got the chocolate chip, jalapeño cheddar, and hot honey pepperoni and they were all without exaggeration the best bagels I've ever had, especially the hot honey pepperoni (with chive and green onion cream cheese). The bagels are exactly how they should be -- crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I got the salt bagel, my boyfriend got the everything, and I ordered a chocolate chip salt to try later. They serve you a bagel in a bag off the shelf, unsliced, and hand you a plastic jar of cream cheese to spread yourself. The bagel was cold and difficult to slice open with the plastic knife they provide. If I'm paying premium prices for a bagel, the least you could do is slice it open, put it in a toaster, and put the cream cheese on for me.
