It's a small little store that's packed with a variety of grocery store items that mostly range from Southeast Asia, mostly Myanmar and Thai. I saw a bunch of Burmese products you don't usually see at Asian grocery stores. They also have already made foods on the counter when you go to check out. There was sweet rice and a these tiny triangles that are similar to samasos. I got the latter and they taste delicious! I got a bunch of dried beans snacks I'm going to try out. The man who rang me up was easy to talk to. He answered all the questions I had and didn't mind me taking pictures of the store to post up here. Their produce was all refrigerated and looked in good shape. There are also frozen meats and other miscellaneous products. I think I saw some sugar cane, or something. Not sure. Black sticky dessert stick was on the label, if I remember correctly. Everything was priced cheaply. This seems to be a corner store that supports a community rather than your run of the mill chain grocer. It was very homey. They've been around for two years, so they're relatively new.

I told them in Spanish for three Carnita tacos and two pupusa. The lady wants to look at me crazy and acts like she doesn't understand Spanish I ask somebody else if they speak English they say no I tell them the exact same thing I told the other lady and she acts like she doesn't understand Spanish either. I don't know if it's because I am fair skin and look white or what but I had to call my father for him to order his food in Spanish. When I try to pass the phone they continuously tell me that they don't speak English, and I have to get loud and tell them that my dad speak Spanish. They finally grabbed the phone and out of the blue they understand Spanish I get my food. I come home one the tacos the tortillas themselves were raw. The Carnitas weren't even chopped up and the pupusa had a long hair in it. I will never ever ever come back again. They need to fix not only their attitude but their food they need to know what proper customer service is and work on their food hygiene ASAP

The uncle that works there treats us like family that one day I forgot my wallet and he gave me the items for free, just because he knew us and knew this doesn't happen on the time. Of course my parents did pay him back for his generosity but the fact he gave it with an open heart made an impact on me personally. The place is clean and some times can be overwhelming with all the items but the staff members are loving. The food is amazing and the catering service has not let us down. Here and there food taste might lack depending on how busy they are that day but on the good days they have shown their talent in cooking. That might also mean even items marked with a later expiration date may not be as fresh as advertised. As with most authentic Asian markets (maybe ones not named H-Mart), it isn't the cleanest, nor does it smell that good, but you're not there to sleep or live, haha. The setting doesn't necessarily reflect on the quality of food, especially if it's packaged or sealed. I'd personally pass and try to find another Asian market, but if this location is the easiest or closest for you, especially given the paucity of Asian markets in Texas, it's not a terrible choice.
