Ordered to go Marg-not special weak Chili relleno-yum Guac-missing, ordered and paid for but didn't make it into the bag Taco barbacoa and chicharon -good Coctel de Cameron -yum, sweet Coctel de Diablo-bland and overcooked shrimp Had the homemade tortillas which were a little thick but tasty Service: very friendly and the food came out in 10 minutes Overall would give them another try but there are other more consistent taco joints

Save your money. Poor quality food. We ordered bistec burritos and there was hardly any meat, but a lot of gristle and fat instead. The rice was hard. And overall the food really lacked flavor. The ingredients were not fresh. To top it all off they refused to give an extra plate for my coworkers, and I to share the meal with. We called by phone to modify the order and whoever answered has little idea or concept of Customer Service, she was quite rude.

I had the worst experience at this restaurant on Uber eats. if you cannot make sure that your food would be well look when they arrived at the customer hand PLEASE KEEP THE SAUCE OUTSIDE THE FOOD BOX?!?!?!?? I'm saying that to you because I know it's not the driver fault that the food came like that from the restaurant. Very disappointed with their customer services. If the delivery is like that , I can imagine how is gonna be the dine in service. So mad, thank you for ruining my day.

Food was delicious, great service. Great music playing! Ordered an horchata to drink, wish it would be homemade!!!

When I'm craving authentic Mexican food this is my go to spot. It can get very busy around lunch time and has longer waits but it's worth it. I live the red enchiladas they use the authentic sauce. I've also tried the torta and it's freaking huge! Reasonable prices and great, what's not to love!

This little Mexican restaurant is a good option for a quick clean bite to eat. They have a fantastic Chile Relleno and their appetizers include a bomb choriqueso that comes with flour tortillas but it's probably not a good idea to order that for delivery. Plates are generous and authentic from their seafood selection to their parrilladas. Another thing to try are their delicious homemade flour tortillas but note that they are a little extra. Over all a great little hole in the wall at the right price!

Ordered some tacos and some chilaquiles. Everything was salty. Every bite was like eating salt cubes. Don't recommend at all.

Very bland, refried beans were extremely watery. Meat really chewy. Price is very reasonable.

The food here is okay at best. The only thing that really stands out is the red salsa, it's excellent.

We hung out comfortably and had a couple of drinks before heading out. The food is amazing!! Obviously every dish is meat based here and it's cooked to perfection. Seasoned deliciously and very tender. The garlic mashed potatoes were smooth and tasty. We also ordered Chicharrónes and guac. I'll admit I was very skeptical about The Chicharrónes because they're either cooked right or they're not. They got it down here. Everything was cooked exceptionally well and delicious. 10/10 recommend. Food and drinks are great!

Here in Texas, chips and salsa are such a commonplace experience it's off-putting to pay for them. We ordered the guacamole and the chips and salsa come with it, so that was, I guess, better...but the guacamole was $16, so there's that. The salsa was tasty as was the guacamole, but again, for the portion it's really not worth it. We had the queso flameado, which was yummy and the flour tortillas are good! We split the sirloin and were underwhelmed. For a grilled meats place the steak was very under seasoned and wasn't giving us fresh hot grilled vibes. Meh at best, as were the rice and beans. We ordered elote as a side and it was really the best thing we ate. Service was friendly and efficient! Cocktails average $16ish. Again, for the prices we expected better.

Chris our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time walking us through the menu and explaining what made El Carlos Elegante so special. The drinks were perfect. My wife loved her Desert Flor while I thoroughly enjoyed my Modelo Micheleda. Her Surf and Turf one hitter was exceptional. I have to say my Crab Cake was just ok. It tasted a little pasty and very heavy on the bread. The Pulpo was absolutely amazing. Perfect texture and the sauce it was served almost had me licking the plate. The El Machete was incredible from its presentation, to the freshness of the corn tortilla, to the quality of the meat inside. Definitely recommend this. We really liked our Okra + Shishito course, we just wished it had more okra in it. The two things I loved about the Al Pastor was of course the sauce it was served on but the fact that I got to enjoy it like a steak. It was served sliced on a bias like flank steak. Typically Al Pastor is finely chopped and served in tacos and burritos, so this was a different eating experience for me. And of course it was delicious as well. We cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.

That visit checked every box -- the food, service, ambiance, and overall hospitality were all exceptional. What really stood out to me then was the attention to detail. I had casually mentioned that one of my cocktails wasn't quite my taste, and Harry personally reached out afterward to say they'd gladly adjust it next time. That kind of thoughtful follow-up leaves a lasting impression and is exactly the sort of hospitality that elevates a restaurant experience. Unfortunately, this recent visit felt like a completely different restaurant. We decided to do a combination of à la carte dishes along with the Experience menu after being told this version would feature entirely off-menu items, which genuinely intrigued us since Ihad also done the Experience previously. At the start of dinner, we were asked about allergies and dietary restrictions. I clearly explained that I have a mango allergy and do not eat beef. Our server then asked whether I ate other meats, and I clarified yes -- and even specifically mentioned that if the machete dish was beef, please still include it because my friend could enjoy it and I really wanted her to try it. He confirmed it would be the sirloin version, so we happily agreed not to modify that course. So imagine our surprise when one of the first dishes arrived dressed with a mango vinaigrette. Thankfully, we barely caught him quietly mentioning "mango" as he set it down. We immediately looked at each other thinking, "Didn't we just discuss the allergy?" It was disappointing, but unfortunately also representative of the overall service throughout the evening. Our server seemed disengaged, inattentive, and often not fully listening. Empty glasses sat untouched, opportunities to order additional items were missed, and at one point we were simply handed the check without even being asked if we wanted anything else. We also ordered a bottle of sparkling wine and ended up pouring it ourselves for most of the evening because our glasses were rarely refilled. I completely understand not leaving the bottle tableside if walkway space is limited, but repeatedly needing to get up ourselves to retrieve it felt out of sync with the level of service one expects from a Michelin-recommended restaurant -- especially at this price point. Then came the machete dish. Instead of the sirloin version we specifically discussed, we received the vegetarian potato version. When the server asked how it looked, I politely explained that we were disappointed because he had specifically told us it would be the sirloin preparation. At minimum, I would have expected another protein substitution given the earlier conversation about what I could eat. I'm also still unclear whether the Experience menu was truly "off-menu" as described, since several dishes -- including the halibut -- appeared familiar. Had that been communicated differently, we likely would have skipped the Experience altogether and simply curated our own meal. At the end of the night, spending over $500 while pouring our own wine, nearly being served an allergen we explicitly disclosed, and receiving dishes different from what was promised made for a deeply disappointing experience -- especially after such a phenomenal first visit. It honestly felt sad more than anything because I know how wonderful this restaurant can be. I'm not sure what changed in the last five months, but the difference was significant.
