Getting hungry; the husband needed food asap while we were out shopping. We had just finished some groceries from Sam's club and needed to pick up some items from Aldi's around the corner. As soon as we entered the parking lot, he went from regular Eddie to hulk smash if I don't get a sandwich soon. And that is how we found Latin Deli. It's small, quaint, and a cute patio on the outside. You walk in to a little almost what a desert kiosk would be like at the mall with a fountain soda station, and some cucumber lime, horchata, and Jamaica constantly tumbling I. Their tanks. The menu is extensive, from Latin crepes, to sandwiches and salads, to even breakfast items. I opted for some chilaquiles, it was tomatillo heavy and super acidic which made it delightful. The beef was well done and paired nicely to the sauce. I would probably sauce on the side next time but man it was scrumptious. Eddie ordered a salad but somehow got a sandwich, which he enjoyed so much more than he would've a salad. Should we have checked? Probably but he was hungry and he wasn't complaining. Service was quick and delightful. If there's any issues, is that this place is on the pricier side. It was $30 for both our meals plus drinks which came out to almost 40ish dollars without tip, so it turned to $50. Would we come again? Probably on pay day. read more

Found this place while searching for a spot that had chilaquiles in Dallas. I'm so happy my friend and I decided to try it out this Sunday morning around 11, wasn't too busy and there was enough indoor and outdoor seating. We ended up going outside since the weather was so nice. We ended up ordering the chilaquiles chorizo, chicken sandwich, and mango cheesecake. Can I just say I've tried a handful of places in Texas to find the type of chilaquiles I've fallen in love with in San Francisco and this is the one spot that is super close to it. The sauce/salsa was amazing and I'm glad I got the chorizo. I didn't get a pic of the fan favorite aka chicken sandwich but my friend loved it and the way the chicken was flavored and everything else about it. Terrible service! My 3 friends and I are runners, and last Sunday after our workout decided to go and try this place for 1st time. Checked online and it had the hours of operation from 9AM. Showed up 5 minutes past 9 and the door was locked. There 2 ladies inside I think cleaning ( not sure) and they saw me, and didn't event come to the door or anything, they just sent a signal with their head sayin "NO". I was thinking no what? I love the mom and pop vibe here. The people behind the counters were all laughing and really enjoying themselves as they were prepping the food. It just brought joy and good vibe to the restaurant. While they have a cute outdoor seating area with a bunch of plants, we had to move inside because of all the ants and mosquitos around. Rating still stands. I love this place. I've been here at least six times now, and I always get the chicken sandwich. This last time I decided to get the Cuban sandwich. It was really delicious and packed full with the meat. I love the cheese that they used there was so much pull. I did get extra mustard on the side because I don't feel that they had enough in the sandwich. Interestingly the chicken sandwich and the Cuban sandwich have a really similar flavor-that might just be the seasonings that they use. I do wish that they tasted a little bit more distinct. This time around I also got more fries than usual. So it seems their portion sizing for fries is a little irregular. My only qualm is that the bread does get a bit soggy even when you eat the sandwich immediately. The meat that they cook is super juicy and it can make quite a mess. That's not much to complain about! It's still really good! But I think I'll stick to my chicken sandwich because I love the addition of the vegetables.
