I had my appointment with Superhawk Canopies in Marysville Washington today, to have my SnugTop canopy rear liftgate door skirt remounted, and also to replace the lock. Superhawk Canopies is one of only 3 SnugTop dealers in the Seattle area. But the proprietor, Gary, told me that the lock did not need to be replaced. Instead, he showed me how I was not locking it correctly (see photos). He even oiled it up to keep it lubed at no charge. Nevertheless, I asked him how much do I owe him for the lock that he special ordered for me. He said "nothing", telling me that he can resell it. Therefore, he only charged me $38.22 including tax to remount the door skirt, which took less than an hour. I previously had to have it held on with Gorilla Tape. (funky!) Gary also told me that he has been in business (I think) 39 years. And I can believe it as many businesses would have just gone ahead and replaced a perfectly good lock that I thought was defective. Hence, no mystery why I noticed award plaques for best SnugTop dealer for every year from 2010 to 2017 in their waiting room. Kudos to Gary, his wife Julianne, their two employees, and their two dogs Lily and Buddy, who helped keep me company while I was in the waiting room. BTW, there is a "help wanted" sign on their main office door as they wish to hire a third employee as of this writing (January 10, 2019). read more

I checked all the Canopys company's in my area and I chose to drive a hour and a half to Everett to buy my canopy , and I chose the rebel with all the extras , I got a better price and Gary really worked with me , plus I was in the area 3wkd later and just drove in and they adjusted and tightened the canopy read more

Excellent prices, selection, and even better customer service. I bought my Snugtop Rebel for my Tacoma back in 2015. It looks great and the color match is spot on. I removed the the canopy off my truck during the summer, and when I put it back on I noticed a small leak coming from the back window. Called Superhawk and talked to Gary (the owner) and he said no problem bring it in. He re-sealed around the window frame and went around the whole canopy to make sure everything looked right and was seated correctly. He did it all for free and was happy to do it. We bought a brand new Snug-top for our Tundra last spring. We were thrilled with it until the rainy season hit and we realized there were some leaks coming through the back door/window. We took the truck back and they verified the leaks, ran weatherstripping around the whole window and even took out the lock, resealed the area and carefully reinstalled it. I have a Snugtop Super sport canopy that is 12 years old. The clear coat started bubbling and pealing off. The led brake light was faded and half the led's did not work. I took it in and they said the paint is warranted for life. They took it off and sent it back to Snug top. Several weeks later I was notified that it was back ready for me to pick up. Snug top had given it a complete new paint job and to my surprise replaced my led light and replaced the worn out gas spring lift struts all for free. Gary at Super Hawk Canopies was very helpful in the process. I highly recommend him and Snug top as they stand behind their product above and beyond all my expectations. I recently purchase 2019 Toyota Tundra and wanted a Snug Top. I did a web search and found Super Hawk Canopies. I went there and spoke to Gary. He said that the Rebel was the most popular model so I went with that. It took around a month the receive the Rebel. Super Hawk installed it very clean. So far, no leaks at all. Just had a canopy installed on a Tacoma here and am thrilled on the outcome and overall experience. The SnugTop is really great quality plus they had most colors and options in-stock. I was expecting to go in, look through a catalog, pick a high ticket item from a 2D image, and hope for the best.... not so at Super Hawk! Gary was very nice and knowledgeable plus they have lots of other products in their shop like roof racks, bed liners, tonneau covers, side step bars, brush guards, etc. Way more than I was expecting.
