So i just left from out of here, the old lady in station 13 .. very rude she kept sucking her teeth every time for no reason . She kept talkin crap in chinese and had an attitude. In that moment i wanted to walk out but i eventually said something because she just start doing too much and as my nails were drying she kept puting my hands down saying " stop moving " when my hands were already down drying. I dont recommend here. Very unprofessional. Honestly save your money.. they are money hungry. And when i asked for short nails with regualr color No gel she got upset and tried charging me 60$ . Wont be getting my services again 0/10 read more

The man that started my nails told me 40 for a full french tip and 45 for long and i got smedium without nothing else. they then charged me 60 for not even a single design. The nails weren't even good and they had to switch people to do french which she wasn't even good at. She kept wiping away and redoing it over and over. HE ALSO CUT ME. read more

I don't know how people are going into this place at all....So my niece had a school dance and my sister booked an appointment here, unbeknownst to me...the tech who started my nieces nails, switched off to go another customer and her daughters nails, the tech who finished my niece nails did a horrible job and didn't care much to fix her mistakes and gave attitude when asked to fix her mistakes. They claim to not have basic nude cover polish for the design my niece wanted. Another customer had an issue with her tech because he tried to use a unsanitized tool on her feet, then he yelled at someone else's kid -who received service- I was communicating with my sister about the issues and unfortunately she has already paid in cash beforehand, and y'all know they are about refunds even for subpar work. My service was horrible I'm a regular here and the guy I normally come to wasn't here today! The young lady number 11 started on my feet and I asked her to cut down a lil more she got up yelling I'm not doing it . I asked why I never disrespected you ms. She said someone else they left me in the back for 30mins and My feet got wrinkled and soft. I was so disappointed in my service And the way I was treated. The young man Fo came to help me out. I had been going to this salon to see Henry #3 for almost one year and although his work is amazing there has been an increasingly serious lack of respect for my time. I always make an appointment hours in advance and for the second time, my appointment time was not honored. I think it is very disrespectful to have someone waiting when they have made an appointment. I think is unacceptable and unprofessional for Henry to not respect my time and money. I guess he just started taking my business for granted. Again he is very talented but I can not continue to spend my money where my time is not respected. read more

Let me begin by saying that I've always really wanted to give this place 4-5 stars. It's spacious, and the staff is very friendly and outgoing. I mean they're really lovely people. But then if I base a review just on that it's truly useless, as their actual service and results isn't that great. I have never been to a location that rushes you no matter what time of the day, service being performed or level of crowd. I was there 2 hours before closing and they still insisted on doing my full set in the MIDDLE of my pedicure which was not only uncomfortable but rushed. And when acrylic is rushed you can really tell. For some strange reason they just want you in and out no matter what and just a few days after service it shows. I come here because the shops on 52nd street are either super tiny, super crowded or don't take debit. Also because it's super close to me. This location is spacious and never really has that long of a wait which is a plus. However, the longevity of their polishes, acrylic, etc is HORRIBLE. You may think everything is fine and dandy when leaving but within two days...and I mean TWO days later and you can notice the paint chipping/peeling and acrylic rising. When I go to my normal place (Diamond nails-check out my review!) I can stretch a full set at least 3 weeks with my nails still looking in pretty great position. Here? I had them done for a week and wanted to rip them off becasue the acrylic had risen so much in such a short amount of time, the polish was gone from tips and they looked beyond ratchet - like there's no way in hell I got them done a week ago. So for the cheap price and specials you'd be better off paying $10-20 more at a higher quality salon that yields better results. This review is based off of years of randomly going to this place. I promise I will stop being lazy and take the 15 minute walk to Diamond nails! If you find yourself here, refuse multiple treatments at once and try to request a male to do anything. I called the day before to ask what time the salon opens and I was informed they open at 9am. So today I show up ten minutes after 9 and it was still closed. No big deal I thought and figured someone would show up at least a few minutes from then. Well no one should up until 9:45! The guy that came to open the salon didn't seem to be at all concerned that there were a few people outside waiting for someone to show up. Even the salon staff was waiting. I've gone to this salon for years and it has truly declined in service and the staff they have. If it were possible to give this place zero stars I would! I went to get a spa pedicure which is up-charged to $25. Like I said before, This place has declined in cleanliness and service. You would think that it would include extra for a spa pedicure but instead I received the worst service I ever experienced here. My technician put cold moldy smelling towels to wrap around my legs for the "spa" part of the pedicure. When I asked if she could get me warmer towels ..she yelled at me and told me I would have to wait in a very loud a rude tone. Then continued to speak in a foreign language to the technician servicing the person next to me. Staring and shaking her head at me which was very uncomfortable for me. She put this clay stuff on my legs and didn't wipe it all off leaving a white power all over my legs. When it became time to polish my toenails she had a bunch on my actual skin. I nicely asked if I could have a different technician to do my manicure and she went to go ask and came back to tell me the lady said "she would do nothing for you." I decided to leave and as I was leaving I spoke to the owner and told him my issues and concerns. And how after going to this salon for years since I lived in the neighborhood my whole life, that my technician was unprofessional and that I asked to be taken care of by a different tech and she outright refused. The woman who refused to service me said I should have asked her to do my nails in the first place and that she wouldn't even wax my eyebrows. The owner just shrugged me off even though at that point I'm in literal tears from embarrassment and the mistreatment. I referred many friends and family to this salon and will NEVER spend a dollar in here ever again. You go to places to spend money on things you like, not to get treated rude and unfairly. I will make sure all of my friends and family that even still attempt to go here don't. I had a few friends tell me the service has declined and today was the last straw for me. Please don't go to this place and waste ur money getting mistreated like I have. I never raised my voice or made a big scene. The owner seemed completed unbothered with me being upset. I love this nail salon, it's clean friendly. And the environment is so relaxing and comfortable, and the price are reasonable as well.

My daughter and I went there on Sunday, since it seemed like the only one open at 10 on Sunday (Mother's Day). Very nice, clean place and we both received a mani/pedi. Now on the poster by the entrance it said that a full set manicure with pedicure was $34. However, they charged $5 for a design on my daughter's feet ($2.50 per toe) and $8 for mood gel polish. The woman who did my daughter's nails was very rude and trying to overcharge her and when my daughter told her what color she wanted the design (purple/white) the technician insisted on making it black & white. My daughter had to argue with her to change it with the technician finally changing it after responding "Oh my God!" and sucking her teeth. One day later, her nail broke. My daughter will be going back today for repairs and will ask for a different technician. Despite the above, my technician, Van, was very professional and nice. She did a great job! If it weren't for the above situation I would've gave them more stars. read more

I go here when my other place isn't available. Usually I went today for a full set and pedicure. My pedicure was great as always. But my only problem was my nail technician. I asked for a nude color with a french slim line around the edges. I got my pedicure white because I always do white. When I proceeded to tell the nail tech she looks at me as if I were crazy . Then proceeded to say you look better with white since your toes are white and I can give you rhinestones. I asked three different people could they do it and they looked at me like how date you. I get theyre busy and have other customers but they're paying like I am. But I ended up just going with the white for now. I'm going to give it a few days and go get my color change somewhere else. The only reason I gave them 3 stars was because the girl who did my pedicure did it well other than that they would've gotten 2 stars. They don't care about your requests. I'll be going back for my pedicure though. read more
