What a mixed bag. I went here for the first time probably twelve years ago for a military sushi half off special and I remember it was great and the whole group had a wonderful time. Didn't go again though until five years ago and the sushi was great again but the fried chicken nugget/tender/strip whatever meal I ordered for my daughter was terrible. I don't remember what it was but it is memorable that it was like they forgot salt entirely. I've never eaten anything that has the flavor of paper before. We just ordered the other night on a whim and the sushi was wonderful but the two hibachi meals we got were dreadful. The veggies are crazy different sizes and could only be described as clumsy chunks which means some of it cooked and some of it is still quite crunchy. It all just tastes like pepper. I like pepper but it's weird for that to be the only flavor. The meat is also in very strange sizes and quite dry. The kids wouldn't eat it (because it's too peppery). Anyway I totally recommend for sushi but would skip the food. read more

I just had to update my review because I don't want anybody to to be mislead. Well since my last review of going to super ninja; I had symptoms of food poisoning! it was really bad where I could not leave home. knowing I was very unsatisfied about this service here, the quality of food, and the fact that they wanted to charge me gratuity knowing I was not in a group of six or more, than to have food poisoning it's only right that I gave them this new rating . I sure hope that they don't compensate quality to cut corners but based on my first visit and the aftermath I highly doubt I would return back. Having compared my latest visit to a Japanese restaurant in the area ...this restaurant cuts of fish and food preparations are extremely alarming! To add I had to get my mother involved to dispute with them their charge on my check for gratuity. If based on the policy 18% is charged for groups 6 or more.. I was in the right and they shouldn't have to argue with me if they were abiding by policy. I just want people to be advised that they should eat at their own risk. The sushi I had was pretty good on the quality scale. Not just temaki sushi rolls (though I did have a couple of those) but they do hand rolls and nigiri sushi. The mackerel nigiri was excellent - nice and vinegary. Tamago? Yum. The shrimp tempura roll topped with tuna and masago? Yum. Next time, I'll skip breakfast so that I can load up on fantastic sushi. $10.95 for all I could eat? And it was good? Yep! They enjoy to make a bunch of made up rules that really ruin the atmosphere and quite frankly ruined our birthday party. They also had the most stingy proportions I've ever seen in the 757. Very sad I decided to drive over an hour to be so disappointed. The only thing remotely close to being good was the service. I will definitely not be coming back. read more

This is my favorite hibachi steakhouse in the area. We came here right before the dinner rush for my nephew's birthday, around 5 pm. Note that for a large party, they won't seat you till everyone is present. We were seated right away and our waitress, who admitted it was her first day on the job, was very attentive and efficient with our orders. Our drinks and cocktails arrived in just a short time, followed by our soups and salads. It wasn't long before our chef arrived ready to cook our meals before us. Everyone who's gone to a hibachi restaurant knows about that famous ginger sauce, and I always ask for extra! Our chef was great and did all the usual tricks to keep us entertained. Our food was cooked just right and I love that this place serves lo mein noodles, in addition to the veggies, fried rice and shrimp appetizers that comes with the hibachi dinners. After dinner, the staff came out with their taiko (drum) and sang my nephew a happy birthday. They also had no problem keeping his ice cream cake in their freezer until it was time to bring it out. Haven't been to Super Ninja in quite a few years. Used to go often back in 2013-2015. Tried out the hibachi today because our favorite spot was closed. Wow. Super Ninja is the bomb! The chef was very entertaining, and hyped up the entire table. Sometimes there are some chefs that make me wanna sleep. The hibachi combinations come with miso soup and ginger salad. The miso soup was very good, and same with the salad. The dressing was so flavorful. I got the steak and salmon hibachi and man it was cooked perfectly! The salmon was melting at my fork, the steak was juicy and not over cooked, the butter was BUTTERY in the fried rice and noodles. Oh, BTW they are the only hibachi place that their combination comes with noodles as well as fried rice! Their yum yum sauce and ginger sauce is really bomb as well. I love this place. I loved it when it was just Ninja on the other side of Landstown Commons. Now they are in a huge space across from Ulta that has a fish fountain with a waterfall, a bar, hostess area, several hibachi grills, a cool seating area with stars in the ceiling, and a sushi bar area with booths. This is some of the best sushi I've had in this area and when I'm craving it I pretty much only come here. I've tried a few other places but it's just not as good. Service is pretty prompt and, though it sometimes takes a minute to get the sushi, when it comes it's really good. Their hibachi is also good here. They have sweet tea but it is SWEET. The staff is nice, friendly, and helpful here. It's pretty clean, and the food is always extremely good and fresh tasting. The chefs each put on a fun show and give everyone a chance at catching a flying piece of zucchini in their mouth without making people feel awkward haha. So I've been here a few times with different people family and friends. I think the food is good. It is my favorite hibachi. First I have some tips. Call ahead. Request the corner seating so that way you have the most comfortable spot. Next tip. You want a fun experience? Request Danny. I think out of all the Hibachi Chefs he's the most entertaining and fun. Do you think that the rice is too skimpy when your order it? I do too. I order a double portion. Hate mushrooms? No problem let them know and they will cook your vegetables separately. If you order the filet mignon order it medium rare. As a chef myself I just cannot emphasize the importance of this. If you cook it past medium it is going to be dry and chewy. As it sits on your plate it will continue to cook if you leave it alone for ten minutes trust me. The "blood" you see is not really blood. It's called myoglobin, a protein that's only found in muscle tissue. Myoglobin has a red pigment that is in the muscle tissue which is why it's red. Not blood guys. Just a little lesson in steak. Now to the food. Everything was cooked great. Chef Danny was entertaining and I would go back again. I will post photos. I think I said enough lol. I like giving food lessons sometimes. My boyfriend and I have been coming here since they've opened. We usually come to eat here during lunch time because it's much cheaper than the dinner price...and it's all you can eat. The atmosphere is very nice and clean. They offer hibachi or regular tables. Great for social events, family, and birthdays. I usually order my usual: -MISO SOUP (so yummy and light) -GYOZA (another favorite), it seems like they steam the dumpling first and then fry the bottom but it's still really delicious -CHICKEN TERIYAKI (comes with rice, broccoli, red peppers, red onions and sliced carrots). Teriyaki sauce is a little bland so I always add a hint of salt to it lol. -EDAMAME with kosher salt My boyfriend loves sushi so he usually gets the chef's specials which are: spider roll, dream roll (his favorite), and the super duper roll. They provide you 8 pieces per roll which is a lot so it can be very fulfilling. They have the all you can eat everyday, from 11am-3pm. Lunch for adults is $11.95 and kids are $7.95 ages 10 and under, which I think is a pretty good deal. Their service is often a hit or miss every time we go there. It depends on which waiters you get. But yesterday's service was good. He'd always refill our drinks even though our drinks were a quarter full and always asked if we were okay and if wanted anything else to order. I'm almost certain that Super ninja is a Japanese themed restaurant...yet they serve way better General tso's chicken compared to these small Chinese businesses. We had a party of 30 called and they gave us a 7:45 reservation. We got there they had parties of 13 & 21 before us. Had only TWO servers and knew they could not handle our party but greed made them accept the reservation. Extremely unpleasant experience had children in the party that needed to eat. I've been here a few times before but my most recent visit will be the last. While the food is decent, my last experience was so terrible that I've made the decision to longer eat at this establishment. My friend and I both got off of work at two and decided to meet for lunch here because they had good lunch specials for a Saturday. My fiancé even called the restaurant to make sure that the lunch special was still going on since it didn't specify whether or not the lunch special applied to the weekend. We were both seated at 2:15 but we already knew what we wanted to order and didn't need to look at the menu. When our waiter asked us for our orders, we asked if they were still honoring the lunch special since it ended at 2:30, he told us no. So, just to put things in perspective, the order I wanted would've been $14, and so since he was having us order from the dinner menu, it was now going to cost me $26. Mind you, I'm actually eating for two and my friend and I were starving so instead of leaving, we decided to suck it up and just pay the dinner price (even though the lady on the phone told my fiancé she should honor it). After our dinner was prepared (I ordered hibachi and my girlfriend ordered one of their sushi platters, hers costed about $23), we couldn't have been eating more than 5 min before our waiter came over and asked us if we wanted boxes. Our plates were both still loaded with food. He came around twice more shortly after asking the same question before my friend got a little fed up and told him "I guess, since you're trying to get us out of here so quickly". Shortly after that, we were delivered our bills and to our surprise, we were charged more than what was offered on the menu. I was charged 2 dollars more than what the menu stated and my girlfriend was charged 4 dollars more. We flagged down our waiter and mentioned this to him, to which he had to go and grab his supervisor. The supervisor then told us that "Due to COVID, we had to increase our menu prices since supply is harder to come by". My friend and I were LIVID, not only because no where on the menu did it mention any price increase, but because she didn't even seem to comprehend why we were upset to begin with. We didn't want our food for free, we just wanted to pay for the food that was advertised. Almost done, while I just wanted to pay and get out of there, they ended up charging my friend an extra $2 on top of whatever extra they charged her before. They offered her a refund only for the two extra dollars, and pretty much sent us on our "merry way". I've never felt the need to post such a lengthy and negative experience but as a consumer, this was was just so frustrating and unprofessional. We will not be returning here, as there are other (and better quality) hibachi restaurants in the area. read more

I am disappointed that a customer who perceives herself to be some sort of "powerful woman" has asked her out-of-town friends to leave bad reviews because the restaurant wouldn't kiss her butt. Hmm.. this place has potential to be good but lacks in service. We came here to dinner a few weeks ago. We had decided on the all you can eat. I can't remember the cost but it wasn't crazy expensive and the food is made to order. They had a large variety that you can choose from. They're food is decent- nothing to write home to mom about but it wasn't terrible. I think their stir fry was a little on the sweet side though. Now, during this whole time- there were like 2 hostess and 1 man running one dining room. He was busting the table, taking orders and running the food. Like I felt bad for him. I was working his butt off. We ordered 2 dishes at a time so we didn't have to wait so long. I would come again because I do want to experience their actual hibachi. I have really decided how much I like here yet though- I guess my next visit will be the deal breaker :) read more

At one time, this place was decent, not now as it is going to hell in a handbasket. Over the past 8-10 months this place has absolutely lost it. Went in for All you can eat with family about 530pm yesterday and not many people in the place (first warning sign). Sat down, took forever to get out drinks then took forever to have waitress come back and take order. Had to repeat what we wanted three times, before our order was taken. Everything came out slow and separate, nothing at one time and food was poor. At this point another few families come in and same thing happens to them, as no one waited on them and they couldn't place order. Waitress finally comes to their table still no drinks for them and they start to order, but she says "No I have to get your drinks first". Really? LOL! We still have not placed a second order as again no one comes by, until a manager comes by. She apologizes and takes our order, stating she has an all new staff (again another bad sign). We wait 20 more minutes and still no food and family who ordered their food before us finally gets theirs. I finally raise my hand as still no food and waitress and tell manager let me know what I owe you as we are out of here. She charges me full price and I said "your going to charge me full price for an all you can eat in which you did not provide", she the comes back and discounted our check ever so slightly. NEVER Again people, stay away, food not good and service terrible, place will be closed with a few months I bet. Probably the worst service and food in us eating out in last 5 years+. read more

Alot of rice in the food. I cameflr thesushi and not the habachi so i am rating the sushi. The calimari was super over cooked and not served with tentacles. The tokyo sushi is rice fill with tampura but the tampura was under cooked, see photo. And the VIP hada lovstersalad that was more of a spread, see photo. All you can eat sushi = you can't really go wrong...unless it's just bad. It's almost like that saying, even bad sex is good sex. The employers were not exactly bubbling with enthusiasm, but just adequately cordial. Super Never Going There Again! ***** 5 Negative Stars! ***** We went there tonight for a birthday dinner of 6 with a reservation. We were sat at a table with a family of 4. After over 45 minutes of nothing more than our drinks and soup, the family of 4 got tired of waiting and left. There were only a handful of tables and I noticed that a group that arrived as we are being walked to our table was already eating their dinner. I went to talk to the manager and she gave me excuses that our cook was delayed because of the family that left our table. By the time I got back to my table the cook was finally there. The server was slow with absolutely everything. I never received a refill on my tea after being there for 2 hours. When we reminded the server that we had a birthday cake to be brought out he delivered it to the table still in the store box. (Extra $5 charge for "cake service".) He eventually brought us plastic forks and styrofoam plates, and a few minutes after that, while the cake was being cut, he asked if we wanted candles. The meal was over saturated with WAYYY too much soy and a ridiculous amount of teriyaki sauce-on everything! The place is overpriced at best for the level of service and quality of the food, To see 18% gratuity for the level of incompetence is just reprehensible. When I went again to talk to the manager about just the gratuity she pulled out her calculator to show me it was 18%. I told her I understand math and my point was that it was not earned and they rewarded him for substandard service. It fell on deaf ears. Stay away. Neither the food nor the service are worth a fraction of what I paid tonight. read more
