Super Never Going There Again! ***** 5 Negative Stars! ***** We went there tonight for a birthday dinner of 6 with a reservation. We were sat at a table with a family of 4. After over 45 minutes of nothing more than our drinks and soup, the family of 4 got tired of waiting and left. There were only a handful of tables and I noticed that a group that arrived as we are being walked to our table was already eating their dinner. I went to talk to the manager and she gave me excuses that our cook was delayed because of the family that left our table. By the time I got back to my table the cook was finally there. The server was slow with absolutely everything. I never received a refill on my tea after being there for 2 hours. When we reminded the server that we had a birthday cake to be brought out he delivered it to the table still in the store box. (Extra $5 charge for "cake service".) He eventually brought us plastic forks and styrofoam plates, and a few minutes after that, while the cake was being cut, he asked if we wanted candles. The meal was over saturated with WAYYY too much soy and a ridiculous amount of teriyaki sauce-on everything! The place is overpriced at best for the level of service and quality of the food, To see 18% gratuity for the level of incompetence is just reprehensible. When I went again to talk to the manager about just the gratuity she pulled out her calculator to show me it was 18%. I told her I understand math and my point was that it was not earned and they rewarded him for substandard service. It fell on deaf ears. Stay away. Neither the food nor the service are worth a fraction of what I paid tonight. read more

I've been here several times. First time after COVID-19. It was okay. My soup was room temperature. Everything was just okay. Nothing flavorful and tasty like before. I will say they did a great job with social distancing at the table. They also cleaned the tables really well after guests left. Maybe it was too close to closing. Went here for a celebratory dinner. My husband and I got filet and shrimp. All but one person at our table got filet. My husband and I ordered well done, everyone else medium, When the steaks were put upon the grill all but two looked great. Those two were tiny and very thin plus full of fat - filet full of fat, and I mean chunks of fat, not marbling. Once cooked the chef cut them onto pieces so small you could have fed them to a baby. And I mean tough. Not well done tough (have always ordered them well done and cook them that way at home). We brought our meat home and fed it to the dogs. My daughter makes way better gyoza. I went here yesterday for dinner with my friend and found out they just started offering an "all you can eat" menu! It's about $10 for lunch and $20 for dinner. Since it was "all you can eat" my friend and I did not have high expectations but the sushi was actually not bad at all! Everything was fresh and delicious! My friend and I each got 4 different special rolls and they were all great. You must try anything with their tempura! It's super crunchy and light. I had the hibachi lunch special: shrimp and steak. The shrimp was over cooked, but the steak was cooked perfectly (medium) and had great seasoning. The miso soup was ok. My mom (originally from Okinawa, Japan) had an assortment of sushi (7-piece sushi lunch special): yellow tail tuna, salmon, etc. My mom said the rice was seasoned well, but the fish was poorly cut and the rice wasn't rolled uniformly. But I don't come here for hibachi. - They have a great lunch menu. It used to be called the "Wok and grill", now it's called the "Lunch Bento Box." For $7.95 you get one main entree (there are 10 to choose from - a couple of examples off the top of my head are Pork or Chicken Katsu, Pad Thai, Gen Tso Chicken, Red Curry Chicken), you also get rice, miso soup, salad, a small eggroll, and 4 pieces of California Roll sushi. Yes! All of that for $7.95!! - They are great for large reservations, most places won't accommodate this size, but last year, I had my birthday dinner here, and there was a party of about 35, almost 40 people, and they let us occupy 4 large Hibachi tables! I'm a fan of this place, especially their Pork Katsu. Don't forget to come for lunch either, one of the best deals around! read more

MAKE A RESERVATION ON WEEKENDS!!! I was told 45 minutes ago they were cleaning a Hibachi table and would seat us next. I went to the hostess station and was given a myriad of reasons as to why I'm still waiting and was told it was because of a reservation. It was a huge party and was put in the back party room...I offered to bus the tables for her to speed things up. She laughed and I gave the girl a dead look and said I'm serious! Needless to say...still waiting and I'm going to wait as nothing will be open soon. Don't waste your time unless you come in on a week day at noon or you have a reservation. Reservations come first! The girls next to us have been waiting for two hours! So, now that we've been sat two servers have come up to take our orders...woweee! Problems a foot!!! read more

The soup and salad were good, as well as the steak. The fried rice didn't have much flavor, just soy sauce. The chicken, shrimp, and noodles were DOUSED in teriyaki sauce. I've never experienced a hibachi/teppanyaki spot that put that much sauce on the protein, it was overwhelming and all I could taste was the teriyaki sauce.
