Bought milk that was 12 days expired. Now, while I realize I should have checked the date, it also should be customary for the store to remove milk within a day or so of expiration. It is disappointing to buy a gallon of milk, drive up into the wilderness, and find out your milk expired 12 days before you purchased it. Bad business practices, I'd say. I bought 2 lbs of hamburger which was brilliant red and fresh on the outside, took it home to make some burgers and it was grey, old and smelly all the way through except for an 8th inch on the outside, deceptive and illegal, mixing g old with new. read more

First off the prices here were ridiculous! While checking out we greeted the check out lady kindly but she couldn't even say hello, she also was coughing a lot which in todays world is unacceptable. If you are sick please sick stay home. She also charged us 5 dollars for 4 potatoes...my husband swore she set her hand on them to add more weight, so we got charged more. Not a pleasant experience. Why people can't be friendly in customer service is beyond me, especially when we were being nice to her. Maybe she needs a new job! We are visiting family here and will definitely not be shopping here again. read more

The Duluth Super One store is not pet friendly so if your traveling with your pet, avoid Super One Foods. Store staff wasn't helpful or friendly either. read more

Extremely disappointed in deli selections. My wife and I grabbed some quick to go food from the deli and everything was total garbage. The chicken was old and dehydrated. The sandwich was soggy. Everything was very disappointing. Had we not been driving away when I tried the food I would have brought it back and had words with the deli manager. I never heard of buying a bag for your groceries. That should be a courtesy for buying your product. Since you are so penny pinched for your bags here's an idea start charging for parking or for using your carts since you don't care about your customers. I've been shopping Super One by Target ever since it first opened. I have always been satisfied with the store. The store was not constantly changing the layout of the store so it made for easy shopping. The store by target is now remodeling the store which I am more than willing to be patient with. I can learn the new layout eventually. Now they have decided to turn the signs that tell the shopper what is in that isle. That means that you can no longer see what is in that isle unless you go down that isle. It is the single most anti-shopper move made by the store. I used to be able to make up a shopping list in the order that the products are in the store. If I have to walk down every isle then it's time to go to Cub Foods. At least there they tell you what is in the isle. read more

(update 1/18/16)- I went there today and watched one of the employees refilling the bulk chocolates with his bare hands... and let me tell you, those hands looked anything but clean. I would steer clear of the bulk items at this location. Make sure to check the expiration dates if you shop here. Lots of expired product on the shelves. I saw 5 expired items the last time I was there. They also have some issues with the advertised prices matching what rings up at the register, so make sure to watch those prices when they are ringing you up. The last two times I have been here, the sale price has not matched the price at the register. The first time, I noticed that one of the products I purchased rang up for $2.00 more than what was printed on the sign. I mentioned to the cashier that the sign on the display showed a different price. She said "You probably need a coupon." I replied that the sign didn't mention needing a coupon. She rolled her eyes with a big sigh and said "I'll check." She was gone for a bit and when she returned, she said that I was mistaken and that the sign said the same thing the register showed. I started to explain that the sign on the display... when she cut me off and repeated firmly "The sign says the same thing as the register." I finished my sentence telling her what the sign said and offered to show it to her. Another eye roll and annoyed sigh. I brought her to the display and pointed out the sign to her. She immediately grabbed the sign and forcefully ripped it off of the wall. She stormed back to the register. When she got there, she angrily typed in the price. She did correct the mistake, but from the time she tore the sign off of the wall, she did not say another word to me nor did she look at me again. The last time I was here, the same thing happened at the register with a bottle of juice. The price came up differently that what was on the sign. I mentioned it to the cashier and he looked at the juice a few times and back at the register. Then, he came to the conclusion that I grabbed the wrong type of juice. The sign said the price was for the 60 oz juice. So, I grabbed the 60 oz bottle of juice. The cashier said it was for a different type of juice, but that was the only juice on the shelf that was 60 oz. He said that it was not possible to change the price on the register and did nothing to change the display or even check it to see if it was wrong. read more

I'm almost certain I caught something in there.......... While the rest of the group was across the street at the strip mall, I buzzed over to pick up some additional goods for the evening - lemonade and chips. I decide, hey it's been hot and my hands needed a wash, this might be the place to do it. Boy, was I wrong! The are so damn worried about not having graffiti in there, they must have forgotten to put toilet paper, paper towels, or a hand dryer that works in the restroom! Ish! I've been in better restrooms at a gas station!!! I get the chips, but can't find the lemonade. You know why? The aisle with juice, etc isn't labeled. You know what is labeled? The checkout lanes asking you to physically push your groceries because the belt is broken. Come on! Some old dude took a really long time to check me out. It's 2 things. Really, 6 minutes. I'm just glad I didn't buy anything that was actually made inside the store. Not sure where they would wash their hands. read more

The place is probably the least staffed grocery store ever. Almost like wal mart level. The lines are long always and when you finally get to the cashier they seem stressed and agitated even if they try and muster good customer service. I would say the store needs to be properly staffed during certain hours. I've been here quite a few times just if I need a few things and it always takes way longer than it should to get through line. Also the fresh lettuces are always wilted and slimy so I have to buy the bags. I love that they give you the coupons though so they get 2 stars. read more

This review goes out to the management/upper management at Super One. I have spoken to the manager on duty, as well as the regional manager, Dave, on at least four occasions now about your handicapped parking. As of yet, you only have spots available at your EXIT. For whatever reason, you have NO HANDICAPPED PARKING at your entrance, where you keep mobility carts available. Will you PLEASE help those of us who need it and get these in place? Handicapped parking is not a luxury item. I will miss your devoted employees. None of your upgrades matter if one can't get to the door. read more

Staying in a Motel on Superior, this is good for the few grocery items I needed and in a good location.

Since the remodel this store has been much better, however today I was incredibly disgusted during my visit. Our store experience was okay overall, but checking out in lane 2, our cashier Heather was visibly very sick. She was coughing too much to even say hello. I don't fault her for this, I feel terrible for her and think she needs to be sent home. Employees should never be made to feel they have to stay when they aren't well. Additionally, since she touched all my food I feel like I just paid 60 dollars to catch a cold. Next time I'll make the trek to CUB instead. read more
