The environment was beyond my expectations for the typical in-grocer restaurant. It was big, bright, well decorated, and super clean. You would never guess you were in a grocery store if you didn't have to walk through it to get inside. Because it was slow the cashier brought our food to us instead of making us get up to get it. He brought out the parmesan fries first. They were so delicious and probably some of the crispiest fries I've had. The honey garlic drumsticks were also amazing and somehow even more crispy than the fries. Definitely one of my favorite Korean fried chicken spots.

Today, I decided to try the Strawberry Shortcake Jelati but with cherry Italian ice instead, because that's my favorite flavor. A Cherry Shortcake, if you will. It was so good. I haven't tried all of the combinations yet, but I can definitively say at this point that the fruit flavored Italian Ice + vanilla ice cream combos really hit the spot. The ice cream is extremely smooth, rich, and creamy. Not a grain of ice to be found. Combine that with the extra sweetness and slight acidity of a fruit flavored ice? Perfection. The cookie butter crumbles (aka biscoff) really bring it home, with a slight crunch and mild butteriness that help cut a little bit of the sweetness. It's truly the perfect combo. They are also really good at layering everything, and even though the drive-through was backed up and it was almost closing time, they layered everything perfectly and didn't skimp on anything. I even had a, visible from the outside, layer of cookie butter crumbles in the middle! Top tier service. As an added bonus, the portions are generous. There are LOTS of flavors to choose from and ways to customize your treat with toppings, ice cream, etc. I had the coconut cream and the flavor was AMAZING! My daughter and granddaughter also really enjoyed their flavors as well. They give law enforcement and military a discount when in uniform, which I love. They also have pup cups! You pay at the first window (to the front of the building) then you walk with your receipt to the side window to pick up. I love how many flavors are offered, and I believe I even saw where they have sugar free options! That will work great for many who are trying to keep honest in their diets but allow a little fun in their meal planning. To compare these to the classic summer treat I grew up with, I had to get the pink lady..... nectar with coconut cream!!!! It was soooo good and the staff knew the combo by its name!
